I saw that about Wales on the TES blog. Doesn’t quite say that they won’t go back before the summer though. I didn’t think it was that clear!

In contrast to all this speculation and faffing in England, the Welsh education minister has said that there are no plans for Welsh schools to go back before September.

If someone in England would just nail their bloody colours to the mast and say something like this then everyone could make plans.

Sorry, I don’t know what Step 2 means? I’m presuming he’s vulnerable due to your bipolar and is being offered a place for that reason? Not that your school is opening to all.

It's definitely 28 January 2021. My mum's hairdresser's milkman has a niece who works for the police and her boyfriend is a teacher in Portugal and his best friend was in the army for 3 months and said so. His army friend also has a an aunt who once met a girl called L-a.

How about instead of asking “When will schools open” we ask “When schools do open what will be done to keep educators and children safe.”

Schools won’t be back into 2020.

Love it when people ask when schools will ‘reopen’. They have been open non stop (including national holidays) since February half term!

I believe the question that people mean to ask is when schools will begin educating in person again.

According to my clairvoyant bladder and my neighbour's left knee, which has 'the sight', they'll reopen on June 25th and summer holidays will be cancelled.

I thought the same op but I've heard today from 2 sources it won't resume this term. I'm quite shocked & hoping they are wrong

I have no idea and I'll just wait. However am email from Dcs school thanking them for their hard work was along the lines of. With an unexpected and abrupt end to the school year we thank you for cooperating and we are busy in school preparing for your new academic Yr. Kind of gave me the impression it will be Sept but I wouldn't take that as cast in stone. It could be earlier or later.
We shall have to all wait and see.
