I'll probably be hugging all my friends and throwing a party since it will be okay by then (I HOPE). And also going to the cinema, there are some really good movies I look forward to!

Just anything normal!

Go see family
Go get a coffee
Eat in a restaurant
Day trip with the kids to National Trust
Wander around the shops

Littlegoth · 08/04/2020 08:12

Carrying on like this for another few weeks to see what happens when all these people come back into contact with each other.

SpeckledyHen · 08/04/2020 08:14

Seeing my son who is 200 miles away working in a key worker role .

Haircut

Trip to Oxford for a mooch and lunch in Mowgli .

NeverTalksToStrangers · 08/04/2020 08:14

See family and friends.
Get a haircut (this will probably need to include grey coverage too, and to fix the mess I'm making of same with box dyes).
Go to cinema.
Take kids to McDonald's.
Plan a trip somewhere near a great theme park

DeanImpala67 · 08/04/2020 08:14

Eat out - a big family get-together meal in a nice restaurant with lots of laughter and hugs.
Go shopping for frivolous things.
And I can't wait to be walking my children to school again and coming home to a clean and peacefully quiet house.

Xiaoxiong · 08/04/2020 08:14

Go to the beach
Go to a cafe with a book
See all of the DSs lovely teachers
See all my lovely colleagues at work
See all my family and friends
Have a massive party

Mainly connecting with others!

Disfordarkchocolate · 08/04/2020 08:15

See family.

Go out for a meal.

Walk on the beach.

cologne4711 · 08/04/2020 08:15

Assuming longer journeys are allowed right away, visit my mum.

And run my local parkrun course (I don't expect the official runs to restart for quite some time, but it will be good to drive over there and run the course on my own).

Get my hair cut.

DCIRozHuntley · 08/04/2020 08:15

Seeing my mum and dad.

I genuinely do feel worried about the world going straight back to normal. Surely cinemas, shopping centres, restaurants and nightclubs will be absolutely rammed - moreso than usual - and the virus will start to spread again.

leckford · 08/04/2020 08:17

Ride my horses, I can’t go to see him even as he is on a locked down livery yard, really well looked after and a brilliant rider is schooling him for me a couple of times a week.

ComeTheFuck0nBridget · 08/04/2020 08:24

See my family! I miss them so much, I might not see my sisters for a month at a time but because I can't see them, I miss them terribly.

And more frivolously, I cannot wait to go to a cafe and order a large latte. I miss coffee so much!

RhymingRabbit3 · 08/04/2020 08:25

Go and visit my parents so they can see my new baby and my 3yo can hug her Nanna.

Besom · 08/04/2020 08:27

Go for country drive. Go out to eat. After seeing friends and family of course.

HappydaysArehere · 08/04/2020 08:27

The same wonderful, ordinary things of everyday life. Freedom to kiss, hug, travel without fear and spend the cash dh insisted on getting out of the bank for housekeeping etc even tho I told him that it wasn’t being taken. The bank has now closed so can’t put it back. In other words relish what we all took for granted.
In the last war people used to say “When the war ends I will never complain again” but of course they did. I wonder how long it will take us to forget to appreciate the most ordinary things.

TheoneandObi · 08/04/2020 08:30

Haircut and lie on my local beach stretched out like a starfish.
Play tennis.
See my dear friends who are shielding due to transplants. Tho i think it may take them a while to adjust to the idea of coming out.

puppymouse · 08/04/2020 08:32

Parents, nails, McDonalds and taking DHorse out and about again.

Miriel · 08/04/2020 08:33

Stay indoors. I have the feeling it'll be lifted earlier than it should be, and I don't want to be part of a second wave after everyone fed up of lockdown rushes out and everywhere is really busy.

I'm looking forward to ordering from my favourite local takeaway, though. It's completely shut now.

Dozer · 08/04/2020 08:34

Visit my parents and sibling and family.

I think lots of things will be difficult for a long time yet, can see “social distancing” being advised. “Waves” of the virus etc.

Standrewsschool · 08/04/2020 08:35

Haircut, and trip to beach.

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 08/04/2020 08:38

Garden party, since our garden will be amazing this year.
I don't think it's likely to be as simple as that though - I expect the lifting to be staged in some way.
The thing I really want is to see my parents but Dad is vulnerable so not until it's 100% safe to do so. I am prepared for the possibility this might not be for a very long time, given the likelihood of further waves of infection.

MoonBlood · 08/04/2020 08:40
  1. Take the kids out for a day trip, somewhere loud, colourful, outdoors and with loads to do! Theme park or similar probably.
  1. Have a date night with my OH, considering we live together we’re not seeing much of each other. He still has to work long hours, and I’m home with four kids and heavily pregnant so I’m asleep a lot of the time when he comes home.
  1. Last but not least a get together with my mates at our favourite place for a drink, post baby obv.
Rainbowqueeen · 08/04/2020 08:43

Go out to breakfast

Book a weekend away

AuntieMarys · 08/04/2020 08:44

Hairdressers. Facial. Gym. 12 mile walk in countryside. Eat out.

Bluewavescrashing · 08/04/2020 08:45

Beach

Out for lunch

See my parents... Haven't since early February.

foxychox · 08/04/2020 08:47

Take the kids on a nice day out, browse the Aldi WTF aisle at leisure.....
