My iPad just reliably informed me my usage was up by 46% last week.
All I thought was "just 46%?"
Just about sums it up.
I think atm we are all taking in the new life we'll have for the next 3-6 months. We are refreshing from busy lives we led and having a period of adjustment.
I think in a few weeks we'll start to do more because it'll become more normal iyswim?
I usually work 5 days a week in education and take my ds swim training 6 times a week.
I'm now in school once a week and wfh the other 4. No swimming.
I have spent time making plans if things I'd like to do around the house. Googling pictures, colour schemes, furniture etc.
I will do it. I'm also acutely aware the skip isn't open so that'll cause some issues. So I'm thinking I'll have to sort my shed out to store the stuff etc.
My suggestion is make plans. I've started a bulletin type journal using a notebook and pens I got for Christmas.
I also wanted to scrapbook this year and bought some stuff but not all. Obviously can't go out for rest at, so I'm planning it.
I've been cooking from scratch which I've not done properly for ages though.
I actually don't think it's that we're doing less. It's that we are doing the same amount but without all the other stuff on top.
I'm also lucky my job is secure.
I'm making sure I put anything I would have spent (coffee/lunch/eating out) in a separate account.
Money to do the things I've not had time or funds to do.
Seriously, just planning for now is great. Ive certainly got ideas for better quality, better value and nicer items than I would have got if I'd just got what I wanted in the normal day to day rush if life.
The economy will also need a kickstart so I'd call it doing your bit
