I’m going to get a haircut and go out for lunch and dinner!

Sorry if this thread has already been started.

Self employed hair dressers and beauty therapists are gonna make a small fortune when this is all over.Grin

Seven8nine · 29/03/2020 10:17

@Inappropriatefemale True, it won’t be easy to get an appointment!

Hairdressers!! I’m already stressed thinking of how long the wait will be for an appointment when they do re-open.

Then beauty salon: bikini wax, eyebrow shape.

Then botox! My apt was cancelled last week and I’m looking angrier by the day. Grin

Vanity aside, I’ve realised I don’t actually miss much else.

Feelingfestivenow · 29/03/2020 10:56

Look for another job

Egghead68 · 29/03/2020 10:59

See another human being
Dentist
Run (I am on shielding and can’t go outside)
Botox
Pick damsons from the communal garden if they are not over

Egghead68 · 29/03/2020 11:03

And book a handy man

AlunWynsKnee · 29/03/2020 11:04

See my parents, celebrate a milestone birthday and pick up my new (to me) car.

rhowton · 29/03/2020 11:15

I'm going straight in to town with my mum for lunch and shopping and cuddles! I speak to her everyday on FaceTime but my girls and I miss her so much.

rhowton · 29/03/2020 11:17

Just burst in to tears at the thought 😂 I'm so emotional at the moment

Milomonster · 29/03/2020 11:19

Take 3 months unpaid leave and travel.

icanhearapindrop · 29/03/2020 11:23

A trip to the garden centre, and a coffee with friends. Also, sort out some play dates for the children.

Powerplant · 29/03/2020 11:24

See my children ❤️

MilkSweatAndTears · 29/03/2020 11:27

I’m going to the beach , whatever the weather!

videoisamurderer · 29/03/2020 11:28

Throw a massive party for my 2 boys who will have missed out on their birthdays in lockdown. They are only small and so excited for a party 🥳

2020newme · 29/03/2020 11:28

See my DD.

Go on holiday.

IggyAce · 29/03/2020 11:30

Hug my parents, grandad and two best friends.
Eyebrows
Coffee with my friend, we are both missing our weekly coffee catch up.
Go for a long walk along the beach.

Gellert · 29/03/2020 11:32

Hug my mum
Go to a supermarket
Walk in the woods

Drogonssmile · 29/03/2020 11:32

Cry with relief probably!

Then all the usual stuff that has already been mentioned!

Selfishly and perhaps naively, I'm hoping beyond hope that we can still go on our summer holiday at the very end of August / beginning of September but ultimately will just be happy if we get through it all with minimal possible death and destruction.

fluckityfluckfluck · 29/03/2020 11:34

Get laid

BiteyShark · 29/03/2020 11:35

A meal in the pub and to book my dog in at the groomers as he is going to look like a long furry rug.

Winter2020 · 29/03/2020 11:36

I'm not too fussed for me as I'm quite a homebody but my toddler has missed out on loads of soft play and active play (he is running across rooms repeatedly like a caged animal) and my 10 year old really misses friends and family so a back log of socialising and activity to do for them for sure.

The main thing I am looking forward to is the worry lifting - hopefully when we have a vaccine.

Helenj1977 · 29/03/2020 11:38

Stay home a bit longer. I'm not going out straight away 😂

Then, I'll go and see my parents ❤️

Rafflesway · 29/03/2020 11:39

Rush to see our much loved adult dd!

She is 26 but has SLD and lives in a supported living complex where they are on 12 week lockdown.

DD only has the speech/understanding of a 3 yr old so has no awareness of any of this. We can't even speak to her on the phone as it would cause her too much distress as we normally see her 4 days per week. 😢

Thankfully the staff at the centre are absolutely amazing and dd is very loved by everyone there - they do keep us updated - but having no contact with her at all is hell and we are only at the end of week 1. 😥
I am just so worried she may be thinking we have just deserted her although her carers are telling her we are poorly and once poorly is all done then mummy and daddy will come and see her.

I know I need to get a grip! Many people are FAR worse off than us. Our precious dd is safe and we don't have money worries.

Right, I'm off to look for my grip!!

Nicklebox · 29/03/2020 11:50

see my children and go to the gym

Spinbaby · 29/03/2020 12:05

Go to The Range 😂
Walk with the baby who will be born by then to our favourite restaurant.
Beer garden.
Big welcome to the world BBQ/party with all our friends and relatives at our house.
