I’m going to get a haircut and go out for lunch and dinner!

Sorry if this thread has already been started.

@AnotherEmma what makes you think I was being smug? I suffer from social anxiety, I struggle with a lot of outdoorsy things that I'm sure others enjoy but it's hardly something I'm proud of. I'm sorry if this offends you??!

fatisnotafeeling · 27/03/2020 22:51

I am due to be induced in 3 weeks time so as soon as this is over I will be having a party so my baby can meet all the family.

SugarMiceInTheRain · 27/03/2020 22:51

Celebrate my birthday (next week) properly with a big family meal.
Give my best friend a massive hug. I video called him the other day and he's already struggling mentally with lockdown and looked close to tears.
Go and visit my mum with the children and give her a hug.
Also looking forward to days out, meals out and being able to casually wander round the shops.

Carrotcakeforbreakfast · 27/03/2020 22:51

We have just had our annual leave cancelled until June.
So I will book 2 weeks off.
Go and give my parents a massive hug
Go and give my sister and nieces a massive hug.
Hopefully go to the dentist and have my broken tooth fixed.
Take my children bowling and for a lovely meal
And then eyebrows and haircut.

MillieMoodle · 27/03/2020 22:54

Hug my parents. They've been self isolating for 2 weeks already (both very high risk), and were on holiday the 2 weeks before that, so it's been over a month already. I am delivering their shopping but standing halfway down the driveway to talk to them. I'm grateful that I can still see them regularly though.

Go out for dinner with DH and DC. Just to sit in a pub or restaurant would be lovely.

Go to the trampoline park and Cadbury World, both things we had planned for DS1's birthday 2.5 weeks ago but cancelled because of CV. He's been so grown up about it, but he had a pretty shit birthday Sad

Titsywoo · 27/03/2020 22:55

Get DS to the orthodonist and me to the hygienist
Then to London to walk around and have dinner (I spend loads of time in London and miss it already)
Meet my friends for drinks

AnotherEmma · 27/03/2020 22:56

@Bookworm83
Yes it does bother me when people post on a thread about what we're looking forward to doing that we can't do... and some people say staying at home! You can stay at home now! You are doing exactly what you want! Meanwhile some of us are really struggling with our mental health because we can't see people or leave the house.
I don't mean to be rude and I am sorry that you suffer from social anxiety. I guess some people struggle with going out and others struggle with not going out. And things are hard for everyone right now.

MintyMabel · 27/03/2020 22:57

Go out for breakfast.

FiveFootTwoEyesOfBlue · 27/03/2020 22:58

Meet friends for lunch in a great country pub, then maybe a walk. Get the ferry across to France for a couple of days.

HerRoyalNotness · 27/03/2020 22:58

Look for a job. Again

Mummyshark2018 · 27/03/2020 22:59

Book a trip to see my family.

Holdingmybreath · 27/03/2020 22:59

Like other NHS staff take a deep breath and carry on working overtime as all the delayed clinics, diagnostic, medical treatment and ops hit us like a tsunami.(so lots to look forward too).

NemophilistRebel · 27/03/2020 23:00

Have a Mac Donald’s (I’m pregnant and it’s my guilty craving)
Hug everyone I love dearly
Go to the beach

DizzyCow63 · 27/03/2020 23:01

Once I've seen and hugged my family, take DS1 ice skating. He struggles with awful anxiety, which has obviously ramped up massively in the current circumstances, ice skating is his happy place and his worries melt away the minute he gets on the ice. I cannot wait to see him back on there.

Gillian1980 · 27/03/2020 23:03

See my dad (if, god willing, he’s still alive!)

AgentCooper · 27/03/2020 23:07

Let my DS hug my mum and dad. And then I’ll hug them too. Crying every day thinking about it.

HarrietOh · 27/03/2020 23:07

See my DP! Smile

eenymeenyminyme · 27/03/2020 23:08

Hug my boyfriend, haven't seen him for 2 weeks already & its making me sad

Claphands · 27/03/2020 23:13

Get my roots done
Buy a kitchen
See my parents
Go out for a meal
Go to a car boot sale

Bookworm83 · 27/03/2020 23:13

@AnotherEmma it bothers me when people attack others simply for having a different opinion. You know what, I'm done. I had no idea that my innocent (to me) comment was so bloody offensive. Congrats, you made a 9-months pregnant woman cry. Have a good night.

Thepigeonsarecoming · 27/03/2020 23:14

@AnotherEmma it was a joke! I was just envisaging everyone storming out their front doors at 8am on the day of release, sprinting though the streets to the hair dressers and nail salons!! 😂

EasyTarget · 27/03/2020 23:18

Go to the beach - whatever the season.
Camping.
Hug all the kids in the family and have a big party.
Start arranging move to the coast.
Campaign for a better NHS.

Wewearpinkonwednesdays · 27/03/2020 23:19

Have a 30th birthday party. Birthday is Sunday and dp had planned a surprise. Obviously cancelled now 😭

Mimishimi · 27/03/2020 23:21

See my dad

ViciousJackdaw · 27/03/2020 23:22

A really long walk. I don't mind where, I just want to walk and keep walking until I'm worn out.
