There are always those in the business world who gain in any national or global crisis - who will it be in this one?

I went to B and M Bargains to see if they had any Flash-they did- and overheard a checkout assistant saying to the manager 'So how much better are we doing?'
He replied 'We are up 40% on this time last year which is an extra £60,000'

Any and all online entertainment. During the depression, people spent anything spare on entertainment as they were so gosh darn bummed about it all and needed cheering up. So...anything that cheers people up.

Funeral homes only up to a point...at some point things turn to mass burial, which do need coordination, but not premium caskets and ceremonial detail. Sorry, morbid but true.

LuluJakey1 · 20/03/2020 23:21

Amazon
Sky, BT, Virgin, etc

It will be good for DIY shops which have had a bit of a downturn recently

Mammyloveswine · 20/03/2020 23:23

My children's father works for sky and says it's never been so busy!

He's working overtime on Sunday!

LuluJakey1 · 20/03/2020 23:25

Seed producers?

OP posts:
PicsInRed · 20/03/2020 23:25

DIY, so popular in a lockdown that it was specifically included in the list of suggested acceptable activites for lockdown. B&Q was busy...

Also garden supplies, whist people are still optimistic about the level and quantity of produce a novice gardener can grow in their wee back garden.

LightAsTheBreeze · 20/03/2020 23:26

Maybe Apple as people buy iPads to keep in touch and to keep the children amused, also used for TV streaming
