UK holiday booked, should I still go?

Have booked a 5 day break in a coastal part of the UK for my family and I (2adults 1 child) due to start on Wednesday. It's a 4 hour drive from home, staying in an Airbnb.

None of us are Immunocompromised, we haven't had any colds or sickness recently either.

Would you go?

Hope you are staying in England. Wales and Scotland not available for holidays yet

EmmaLou99 · 06/06/2020 19:59

It's still illegal to stay anywhere overnight that isn't your own home so no I wouldn't go.

PineappleUpsideDownCake · 06/06/2020 20:03

Im really surprised at all these replies.

Its illegial isnt it?
AirBnB shouldnt even be offering it.

Or have I missed something. Pretty sure its no overnight stays anywhere.

@PineappleUpsideDownCake

Most are pre lockdown so perfectly legal. Someone has resurrected an old thread

PineappleUpsideDownCake · 06/06/2020 22:01

Oh thanks! I missed that. That would explain things!!!

pontypridd · 06/06/2020 23:36

Are we allowed to go away now?

I thought the 'rules' were that you could drive somewhere but not stay over night.

Wingedharpy · 06/06/2020 23:51

@pontypridd: Original poster posted this in March.
Other poster is asking about going at the end of June.
So, no, we're not able to stay overnight anywhere, just now, but who knows what the directive/guidance will be at the end of the month?

OneNewName · 07/06/2020 00:05

No because we are on partial lockdown still and you have no good reason for breaching it.
