Is it going to be drastic changes? Or just 'work at home if you can'?

Oh North Wales is in a pickle, yesterday friend phoned about appointment for today at Wrexham Maelor, they laughed at her for panicking, today well look at this

A patient at a North Wales hospital has tested positive for coronavirus, according to reports.

At least five patients are suspected of contracting the virus at Wrexham Maelor, where the confirmed case emerged.

Public Health Wales are yet to confirm the case , but it is understood that it was confirmed this morning and a person was being treated for the disease.

Bool · 12/03/2020 16:54

And I agree with @SandrasAnnoyingFriend - it is offensive to all those working in the NHS to say it is not prepared.

Newjez · 12/03/2020 16:54

Maybe Cummings is trying to work out how you take back control of a virus?

Newjez · 12/03/2020 16:55

@Bool

I don't think it is the fault of the people working at the NHS. I think it's the fault of ten years of unnecessary Tory austerity.

justasking111 · 12/03/2020 16:55

Suspect Cummings is ticked off Nicola Sturgeon dumped the gun earlier.

StormyClouds · 12/03/2020 16:56

Full Scottish health advice now published. Quite concerning message with regards to school closures:

"It is likely that schools will need to close but when they do they may not re-open for several months."

BecauseReasons · 12/03/2020 16:56

Well, there you go. They're not closing schools. But, they are saying older people with heart failure should avoid cruises. Hmm

alloutoffucks · 12/03/2020 16:56

Do you work in the NHS? I have a family member and friend who does. They are not prepared. That is a fact.

Newjez · 12/03/2020 16:57

Nicola sturgeon must be frustrating for Cummings. A politician with a brain is his worse nightmare.

MzHz · 12/03/2020 16:57

Here he goes... prepared to be underwhelmed.

Is it just me or does he sound chesty? look a little sweaty?

alloutoffucks · 12/03/2020 16:58

So old people with heart problems should avoid cruises. They are really ramping up the Government response now.

SandrasAnnoyingFriend · 12/03/2020 16:58

Yes I have several family members in the NHS, my sister is a senior nurse at St Thomas's, the hospital with the most current Covid19 admissions.

Thesearmsofmine · 12/03/2020 16:58

He does look sweaty.

CoolcoolcoolcoolcoolNoDoubt · 12/03/2020 16:59

God we know about delaying the peak, tell us something new!!

Skybluepink123 · 12/03/2020 16:59

Boris doesn’t look well himself.

yatapina · 12/03/2020 17:00

@MzHz I thought that he looked ill during the budget announcements in house but yes, definitely seems to be worse.

This is a fucking joke 😡

Skybluepink123 · 12/03/2020 17:01

“More families will lose loved ones before their time” he says.
How terrifying is that. If my kids hear that, they’ll be petrified.

mycorona · 12/03/2020 17:02

Boris has a coronavirus and is excused PMQs forever

It's OK, Stanley Johnson can do it instead.

OtterPotter · 12/03/2020 17:03

He doesn't look or sound at all well..... clammy.

"I must level with you and the british population... many more families are going to lose loved ones before their time"

That's a grave, grave statement.

ssd · 12/03/2020 17:04

At least it looks like he's put a comb through his hair once today.

yatapina · 12/03/2020 17:04

@Skybluepink123 that was bloody dismal statement!

Let's hope he has a nasty case himself - something might actually be done about it then.

Hellsbells123098 · 12/03/2020 17:04

I don’t know why but I’m shocked at this, not much action all still a work in progress and putting it on scientific evidence!

Two things:

Wash hands
We will greet through we have got through tougher experiences if we commit to a full national effort.

Great put this on us.

Thesearmsofmine · 12/03/2020 17:05

That was a horribly worded statement. Not very reassuring!

BecauseReasons · 12/03/2020 17:05

So, basically, we're all going to get it and they're just trying to stagger it so we don't all get it at once.

outnumberedmummy · 12/03/2020 17:05

"I must level with you and the british population... many more families are going to lose loved ones before their time"

It’s terrifying
