Of course he wasn't cancelled for a documentary that was basically anti settler. Most of the UK population are against the Settlers - even those that support Israel like myself. The fact that Pascal Robinson isn't white is irrelevant to why this has caused an upset and why LT risks getting cancelled for appearing to side with him.

Having a brand sponsor pull out because the content breaches their guidelines isn't cancelling someone. Hope this helps. The podcast can still air. Pascal still has Free Speech. It just means that the airline isn't paying him for it.

Netanyahu was born in Tel aviv. I thought where you were born is what you are, i.e Pascal Robinson is born in the uk therefore he is British, regardless of where his family were born. Why bring in Netanyahu's polish relatives if not to make it seem that jews don't have a right to live in Israel?

Anyway Pascal/Bob is a nasty piece of work death monger who makes shit music. Theroux did pretty well with Daniella Weiss, he made her comfortable enough to discuss her idealogy of ethnically cleansing Palestinians from their land.

I think he does well with most of his subjects lulling them into a false sense of security so they reveal more about themselves than they intended.

I absolutely love how frustrated he got with Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee. He was dying to uncover something unpleasant about their relationship and no matter how hard he tried, even sneaking into their bedroom, he just came up with nothing.

In the end, he had to admit over dinner that they seemed genuinely happy, remarking that this was rare. Paul D answered "No it’s not! No, I don’t think it’s a rare thing. There’s literally billions of us out there. And it’s all the little manky miserable people who make the biggest shout."

Its a detour that was a good example of how LT always tries to expose nastiness (there is a prurience about a lot of his subjects) which just accentuates the soft soapyness of the Bobby Vylan interview.
