I think what we're seeing is the hardening of extremism in all communities. I do feel that the collapse of the ideals of the left are to blame. We all need to stand up for a less tribal politics so that there is space for people to speak to each other.

No "the left" have nothing to do with why anyone would support a racist. That's just an excuse. It is simply because they are prejudice against people with darker skin and who follow other religions and he is someone who leads on that sort of discrimination.

Is the Israeli govt actually so stupid that they don't realise YL hates Jews too but just not quite as much as he hates Muslims?

They are paired with Trump who gets a lot of his support from Neo-Nazis.
First they fight the muslims...
Israel are idiots to get into bed with this lot.

I'm talking about wider discourse, not the views of a few individuals. And actually I do think tbe context can help to shape the views of individuala too.

If you were scarred by the Shoah, the last thing you'd do would do is gravitate towards someone who us from the same Northern European Christian background as Hitler. This isn't due to generational trauma, it is about wanting to contribute to a society where paler skin and proximity to Judaism and Christianity is classed as superior.

I’m not Jewish but I am a Zionist as I believe in the right of Jewish people to self determination and to protect their homeland. I also believe in the right of Palestinian people to self determination. People use “Zionist” as some kind of insult when its literal meaning is as above. Being “antiZionist” means people want Israel to cease to exist - which is extreme. Labour let down the Jewish community - I joined the Jewish Labour Movement as an ally in support when Corbyn was leader. My Jewish friends have lived in fear for years. YL is exploiting that fear. Sensible people see him for what he is.

This thread is just full of gossip. It doesn’t matter who you like or dislike but facts are facts. TR’s cousin was raped by a grooming gang 15 years ago. How many more victims were there because everyone thought it was ‘racist’ to talk about it? And do people still think it’s racist? TR says that UK is in danger from the ideology of Islam, which is not a religion, it’s an ideology. I don’t ’like’ TR but maybe this is because I’ve had 15 years of the media telling me he’s things that maybe he’s not. I don’t know. But I know he’s right about some stuff which women should care about ie rape.

YL will not be alone in having a relative who has been sexually assaulted, some of us (most of us depressingly) have been sexually assaulted ourselves
Doesn't turn us into a hate spewing racist who has turned inciting trouble into a well paying job

I do think he is right that if a sensible middle ground is not found, across the whole politics, what will replace it will be truly terrifying.

That's how it works though...you see it with everything at the moment.

Those who are at the extremes get power and control over the narrative either by gaining actual power or by shouting the loudest, creating a toxic culture.

The majority who occupy the sensible middle ground either stop contributing to the narrative because they don't want to be part of the toxicity, end up becoming entrenched and dogmatic and losing the will and ability to understand both sides and seek compromise, or try and hold the middle ground but get shouted down by both sides.

The scariest thing about it is that people know that it is essentially white supremacy, so they know that supporting someone like TR publicly at work could get you in trouble with your job. Not because of his opinions on the I-P situation, but because he is undoubtedly racist and misogynistic due to other things he has said.

Yes TR appeals to their Zionist ideals when it comes to the Jewish community, but for a lot of people, and I'd say men more so than women, it just provides an excuse to openly support someone who is a proud racist. They don't only agree with his new views on Israel, they agree with his views on all non-white people, too. Especially Muslims

I’m going to have to challenge you there. Please provide links and sources to back up your claims. This reminds me of when people lied about JK Rowling online and after that you realise you really do have to question everything.

The recent unite the kingdom rally was attended by people of all colours and faiths and had many different speakers. The mainstream media portrayed it in a totally different light. Drone footage showed there were closer to 750k attendees. You can’t say they are all racist thugs, that’s simply unbelievable. It’s easier to throw around labels. Personally I think ‘left’ and ‘right’ are impossible to define right now. I used to be Left but no way am I joining the Hamas death cult weirdos.

If anyone is actually interested, there’s a YT Sky news video called ‘Sir Trevor Phillips discusses unite the kingdom rally in central London.’ STP talks a lot of sense. Maybe it’s because he actually attended the rally instead of swallowing MSM lies.

Oh come on. Yes there were a few people who ridiculously thought it wasnt a racist March and had their own "benign" reasons for attending. I saw the marchers myself as I live somewhere that makes it easier to commute to the main site from outside London. They were white supremacists chanting racism. Many drunk and high by the evening. It was a protest for all white supremacists and their supporters to congregate together, as well as those too ignorant and uninformed to know any better. I assume you were one of the latter. Did your flag survive the day?

Trevor Philips the ex commissioner for racial equality? Yes it would be interesting to hear his view. I'll have a Google.

Attack, attack, attack. Insult blah blah. Same old story really. I guess you couldn’t provide links then. No, I didn’t go and I don’t ‘support’ them like you think. But I do have a curious mind and will no longer believe shit just because someone states it like a fact without backing it up. I did watch videos online though and didn’t see the things you described. Jonathan Sacerdoti attended and said the only time he was abused was on his way home, which came from the ‘anti fascist’ crowd. Ironic eh.

I dont need to provide links to show that the March organised by notorious white supremacist Tommy Robinson was racist. I am not stupid enough to feel that would be a productive use of my time.

If you attend an event arranged by racists you are either a racist or stupid

Yes the very same. He seemed to understand the concerns of the people who attended because, I know this is extreme, he actually listened to them!!

If you state things as a fact it doesn’t make them a fact without evidence. You can put a gun to my head and demand I say a man can change sex but it doesn’t make it true. We live in a different world now where we know people lie so you have to go find stuff out for yourself, even if it challenges views you have long held.

OneNattyReader · 11/10/2025 10:25

The valid concerns of poor white people are of absolutely no concern to richer white people. If they cared one iota about anyone British and disadvantaged, they would not vote for governments who have the policies that they do.

The same goes for Trevor Phillips. He grew up in my area and speaks with great knowledge about the communities around here. But he doesnt do anything to promote equality and just looks down on those who are fearfully competing for resources. He enjoys the Conflict because he has the privilege for it to barely affect him.

The main reason these girls were failed was due to mysogyny and class prejudice. Girls as young as 13 were labelled prostitutes or charges weren't sought because they were too scared to give a recorded statement which was seen as them being complicit rather than abused.

The fear of appearing racist element came largely after gang members were arrested, demonstrated by the lack of ethnicity recording in the police records. It wasn't that much of a factor in the lack of investigation and support for the victims.

There are plenty of white 'grooming gangs' that weren't investigated, which wouldn't be the case if it was purely race and a lot of research actually suggests that the majority of community based sexual assault is committed by white men.

I've read most of the reports that have come out about the issue from a professional stand point and have sat in a room with a victim of grooming by white perpetrators and heard first hand, her harrowing testimony of her experience and how police dismissed her as a 'slut'.

But Yaxley Lennon and his merry little band won't highlight that because they don't actually care about women and girls - they just want to use them as a weapon for their ethno-national racist hatred and many of them have also committed violence against women and girls.

Please don't fall for it!

Racist
Far Right
Transphobe
Bigot
Terf
Facist
Nazi

These words are so overused now they no longer hold the same meaning.

That's the thing i dont get about these grooming gangs.

Many of the men talking about how terrible it is and going on these marches regularly exploit vulnerable young women either alone, or as part of a group. Yes up to the point of sexual abuse and rape. On one article, they will be going after grooming gangs and on the next, arguing that the 13 year old girl could consent as she had on lipstick. Or that the woman deserved raping because she had 2 jaegerbombs and a short skirt on.

This thread for one. As soon as you try to speak about anything you’re shouted down as a flag waving racist.

Are you saying you’ve never seen any of those words being used incorrectly over the last few years? Women being called transphobic just for caring about children? People being called racist because they worry about illegal immigration? Has the Charlie Kirk death not highlighted any of these things to you at all?

When there are pro-Islamist marches every weekend calling for the death of Jews (because that’s what the pro-Palestinian marches appear to the casual observer), don’t be surprised when there is push back from the indigenous population.
The government now need to ban the Palestine marches.

Tommy Robinson will go, do and say whatever his rich Sugar Daddy sponsor billionaire Robert Shillman tells him to.

Robinson is part of a network of groups in Europe and America funded by rich donors and designed to stoke up racial hatred based on a brand of fake patriotism. Their focus right now is on the "Muslim Invasion" to provide justification for the IDFs actions in the region.

https://observer.co.uk/news/national/article/us-cash-turned-tommy-robinson-into-the-poster-boy-of-uk-far-right

Remember Shillman withdrew funding from Turning Point a few days before Charlie Kirks assassination as Kirk was not being sufficiently deferent to Israel.

It will be interesting as some of Tommy's former followers and rival far right groups are openly stating that Europe is being "flooded" precisely because the UK supports all these wars in the region involving Israel, ergo it's Israel's fault. Hence Robinson's "It's the left wing Jews that encouraged migration" video.
