The South near Rafah is more intact, but these are from Gaza city and the North.

It's gone. There's barely a building that hasn't got significant damage/a burnt out shell.

I don't know how anyone can look at this and say that is ok. Or look at it and not blame the people who dropped those bombs. I wonder how many of those buildings were occupied at the time. I wonder how many dead or dying people are under the destroyed buildings we see right now.

Thanks to Google maps this level of destruction can't be hidden any more. I just hope that one day the monsters that ordered this genocide face justice for it. Nothing can ever justify this. It's a never crime for a reason.

Ps: I didn't look for the worst bits, it's pretty much all the same up north. You can look for yourselves.

Again you can’t murder kids and say someone else made you do it. That is psychotic.

Like the Bibas babies?

I'm not even sure the non-militant groups have evolved much either tbh. Even here in the UK the majority of British Muslims believe homosexuality should be illegal. It's just a problematic religion IMO.

I agree.

Neither have militant illegal settlers.
Please acknowledge there is evil intent on both sides”sides”.

I never claimed there wasnt. As I've already said, this will never end until one side totally wipes out the other - neither side are behaving. **Unfortunately, Hamas' little FAFO has swung the odds heavily in Israels favour.

I'm not familiar with Lebanon's history or politics, so I'm not sure what you mean there, sorry.

There would be no need for any military presence if everyone just shared the land and got along and didn't attack people whose ways are different from theirs.

Why can't Israel be a place where Jewish people and Muslims and Christians all live? Why can't the country belong to them all? I don't understand why the Israelis penned the Palestinians into one small piece of it.

Go Google the Lebanese Civil War.

Hamas are murdering scum, they have killed children (though it has not actually been proven that they killed the Bibas children). So you think because they are murdering scum that that is the example you should follow and actually outdo them on the mass murder of children front?

Didn't say that at all.

Tell me, when should Israel have stopped? When was the retaliation at an acceptable level for you?

TBH, my main issue with all the pearl clutching about Palestine is that I've not seen any such reactions to all the current, long standing muslim/Muslim wars. Why is that?

As I've said, this won't end until one side wipes out the other. Not Israel, but I've lived in the ME for a good few years. NOTHING else will stop this.

The second the IDF bombed civilians - day one! Palestinians aren’t “one side” they are not responsible for what Hamas did or do you think it would be okay for Israeli civilians to now be bombed for the countless war crimes committed by the IDF? There is a reason why bombing civilians and collective punishment are classes as war crimes.

Orthodox Judaism isn't exactly an ally of the LBGTQ community. Surely that's an issue for you also?

The IDF have only bombed military targets. Hamas are solely responsible for all of this.

So, no retaliation at all?

All the innocent festival goers, murdered babies and raped women weren't worth fighting back for?

They retaliated against civilians - schools, hospitals, doctor’s houses, ambulances, apartment blocks. These are not military targets. 30,000 out of over 2million people were members of Hamas, that is 1.5% of the population and yet 92% of homes are destroyed. Snipers shooting toddlers in the head is not retaliation, it is murder.

Didntask · 02/10/2025 18:46

All Hamas' victims were civilians too. And?

‘Pearl clutching’?

You mean noticing that tens of thousands of children are being systematically killed is somehow melodramatic? No- it’s called not being a psychopath. If calling out mass child murder is ‘pearl clutching’ in your world, I genuinely worry about how warped your sense of decency must be.

Wedonttalkaboutboris · 02/10/2025 19:06

HellsBalls · 02/10/2025 17:44

Factually indefensible. You can’t just make stuff up. The IDF have bombed a child carrying water- just one of countless documented incidents.

If the IDF had only bombed ‘military targets’, Gaza wouldn’t have the highest child death toll in any conflict this century.

When you consider that no one seems to give a fuck about the 150,000 dead and the millions displaced in Sudan, it is either pearl clutching or antisemitism. 🤷‍♀️

Iamfree · 01/10/2025 15:08

@KoalaKoKoFinish the job of finishing Hamas. If there’s a terrorist attack in London or America you’ll think differently. The children number is from Hamas too I don’t believe a word they say. And sell has proposed a ceasefire, up to Hamas whether to accept it or not. There are people on both sides or do you only want people who blindly accept the cries of “genocide”?

There’s only one group of people being bombed and starved and that’s the Palestinians in Gaza !! and those in the West Bank
You need to stop reading Israeli propaganda

Ah! Let’s not forget the Christian churches in Jerusalem. Israeli attacks again !!

This thread isn’t about Sudan
Why would posters be derailing this thread to speak of it. It’s irrelevant here

So Israel committing genocide isn’t as bad as Hamas
Does that mean genocide generally isn’t as bad as terrorism ???

interesting and truly shocking thought process there

I think it has EVERYTHING to do with this thread and why some posters are so pro Hamas. If it was really about the casualties of war, of which Sudan has multiple times more, why aren't there more threads about that from the pro Hamas folk?

I think genocide is dreadful. What needs to be done to end it, and prevent it happening again?

Be real
This isn’t just a retaliation though is it

So no
Not to the point of committing a genocide against an entire population
Absolutely not

Tunnels. The IDF have published all of this. Hamas hiding out inside and under hospitals and schools, using human shields.
Hamas move around in ambulances, in aid vehicles. There’s plenty of evidence of this.

Why hasn’t Hamas accepted the ceasefire? The killing could have stopped today.
