Why the need to cover up ?

Genuine question: why do pro -Hamas protesters feel the need to cover their faces during protests.

Are you ultimately ashamed ?

If that was the reason I would understand, to be affiliated with terrorists, where actual infants are still held as hostages if not actually dead yet, yeah I'd be truly ashamed.

A native statement by someone who has clearly grown up in a free country.

If you mean the UK, I have some bad news on that front related to freedom of protest and other matters that many seemingly think only happen in the DPRK.

@10UsernamesNotAvailableTryAnotherOne at least his mummy is proud of him. Guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Although she probably should have considered the implications of outing her son and his criminal conduct to the world.

You're right about that, I see where he got it from. Although I am also surprised she outed him like that, but I guess hateful bigots aren't the brightest bunch. What really upsets me, was the lack of police response. The attack lasted for hours, it's a miracle noone was killed! The police were quick to tackle middle aged professors to the ground, but do nothing when violent mob attacks the students! It's insane! 😡

When I was a young teenager a police officer told my parents he saw a photo of me at a protest against the war in Iraq in a police file. I don't cover my face at protests but I am not thrilled to know that the police keep my photo on file when I exercise some basic democratic rights. So covering one's face is probably wise in many cases.

That's so creepy! I'm sorry that happened. It's unnecessary, too. Attending peaceful protests isn't against the law, there shouldn't a photo of you on file at all! When I was at a protest last week, I spotted a police officer with what I believe to be a facial recognition camera. That was a bit unsettling.

@NecessaryNC24 calling all Pro-Palestinian protestors 'pro-Hamas' is as ridiculous as calling all those who support Israel as 'pro-genocide'

There's been millions of marchers, are you saying they are all pro-Hamas?

I am in those marches and I can categorically tell you I am not pro Hamas.
But you said it and 'meant' it so it must be fact.

Oh dear.

Do you also think Covid was a conspiracy ?

I think you dropped your tin foil hat.

I'd like to think the majority of protesters didn't support those rapists and murderers. I would really prefer to believe that.

But people's actions (and chants) loudly spell it out.

Just as Hamas hide among their population, this is reflected in the protests, just more hate-mongering in plain sight (with faces wrapped up ofc).

Do not patronise me with your conspiracy theory slur.
Tell me the chants that are pro Hamas.

NecessaryNC24 · 26/05/2024 09:18

Are you serious?

There's a pretty fcucking famous one that calls for the elimination of Jews from the land.

Let's see if you can remember it.

Perhaps because they don't want to encounter unhinged ex IDF soldiers like this? who felt entitled to racially abuse (including pulling her Hijab off) a woman at Whitechapel Station. He even lurched towards the woman recording, as if to hit her before other people stepped in.

Who are you not engaging with? Whose denial is sickening?
Is it because I asked you about pro Hamas chants? I did not deny anything. I was honest and said I don't know any. So why don't you tell me instead of bowing out ( and probably name changing ).

I 100% support everything you have said on this post. And to the poster that is somehow criticizing Israel for not managing to stop the animals that raped, murdered and kidnapped their citizen - what a disgusting, shameful thing to say. I honestly don't know how people live with themselves. Women have been raped, murdered, kidnapped by these savages. Where is the outrage?

But I apologise re the rape being debunked. I went searching for the articles but apparently the debunking has now been debunked too.

Why on earth would women make up stories about being raped? Have you taken the time to watch the videos? Disgusting savages.
