Dignity in death

This is something that has saddened me since the bombing started in Gaza.
Every single faith has funeral rites who need to be adhered to to show respect to the dead and to help the grieving process of the ones left behind.
How can this be done in Gaza? Water is scarce so the bodies can't be washed. Bulldozers just dumped bodies in mass graves. Are the Muslims in Gaza even buried facing Makkah?
What about the other faiths?
What about the cemeteries being bulldozed?
I am sure, I will get the usual "it's a war; that what happens". For me, it is difficult to witness that , even in death, Palestinians are denied dignity. That's all.

Hamas claim some of the still missing hostages* are dead, they don't seem to have returned the bodies.

I am very saddened to read this. Its horrible to see innocent suffering people, whether Muslim, Jewish, Christian or Athiest. But Hamas (and the Palestinians who let them rule) seem to care very little about anyones lives. They have rejected ceasefires, and deliberately chose to start a pointless war on October 7th.

Unfortunately the events of that day mean that no Israeli can sleep peacefully in their beds while Hamas still rules.

I am (a little) hopeful that Hamas will be eliminated and people in Gaza will choose a life of peace rather than war.

Personally I have a lot more sympathy for the Israeli women who were raped by Hamas and had their breasts cut off, were paraded naked through streets and other horrors. (where were all the innocent Palestinians to save them?)

*Oddly, your sympathy doesn't seem to extend to them

All the "innocent Palestinians"? Many will have been in the West Bank (Hamas were only elected in Gaza).
As for those in Gaza, have you ever ran up to armed terrorists and demanded they release their hostages or tried to stop them? Can you honestly say you would? I can safely say I wouldn't, for fear of being killed or taken myself.
