I find myself in a very odd situation...

Husband and I dtd on Thursday night and I woke up the next day and thought "omg I'm pregnant".....but we aren't ttc and I'm on the pill and taking it correctly.

I've had two previous pregnancies. First one was early miscarriage, second was my son who's now 20 months. Both times i knew I was pregnant within 2 days. I know lots of people will tell me thats not possible, but within 2 days I was being sick and feeling really nauseous every time I ate.

I feel like that again right now. Sicky, sore and heavy boobs (I get a whole tonne of PMS symptoms but never get sore boobs!)....and I'm too early for PMS symptoms yet.

I don't know why I'm posting this other than I just don't know what to do with myself at the moment. I feel really sick and strange but not ill. Last time I went to Dr's feeling like this I was pregnant. But I've only had sex once this cycle and I'm taking my pill so I have no reason to suspect I would be pregnant....except I can't shake the feeling that I am 🙈 It can't even be tcc paranoia because we're not trying! We'd be happy if we are, but we're not trying.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I don't know what to do with myself because I feel rubbish but not ill, and I can't focus on anything because my brain keeps wondering if I'm pregnant and if I am, whether I'll soon lose the pregnancy 🤦‍♀️

Just.....Arghhhhhhhhh! 🤣

No, I thought I had a stomach bug. Ha!

tulipsunday · 12/06/2022 18:39

No the ones with all the 'symptoms' were bfn the one where the only symptom was urine smelt strange (! Sorry if tmi) was positive

speakout · 12/06/2022 18:42

No, I had no idea.
First pregnancy I was 16 weeks before I found out, it was my OH that guessed before I did.

Galvanisa · 12/06/2022 18:43

I always have hot flushes about a week before a positive test

i haven’t heard anyone else getting this before- never comes up as an odd symptom

I never have them any other time

I've been getting night sweats which I guess is very similar 🙄

Still here....maybe 11 days past conception now (if I'm right!) Sore, veiny boobs, nausea, night sweats, occasional twinge in c section scar, tired....Trying to hold out another few days to test in case it's a chemical pregnancy.

In all honesty, not sure how I feel. If I'm pregnant then it's unplanned. It's not great timing, we're about to takeover a family run company and having 2 kids and extra childcare is so stressful. We've said we want another one (before this all started) but we're planning on leaving it at least a year to try again...so I don't know how to feel really. A bit overwhelmed.

With my second pregnancy I knew, all tests were negative, dh telling me I was being silly, but I just had an overwhelming feeling and was right, we weren't trying.

LemonSwan · 13/06/2022 16:13

I did but it was after 6 weeks of no period and I started gagging at the dust and car fume smells in a car park.

As a gardener who often frequents a petrol leaf blower I can categorically say I am dust and fume immune so it was quite obvious.

I was right

OceanbreezeSun · 13/06/2022 16:24

I did with dd. Not literally the day after but about a week later, I had butterflies when I did the test a few days later.

With pregnancy no.2, no symptoms when I tested, period wasn’t late but I had an urge to test (sadly ended in mmc)

Currently pregnant now, 6 weeks , so very early. I had no real symptoms, period was only 1 day late (not unusual). My dh actually said to me earlier that week ‘I think this is our month, I think you’re pregnant’ He doesn’t normally say things like that, so perhaps he detected it?

parrotonthesofa · 13/06/2022 16:24

Had no idea at all. Felt completely normal. It was twins.

Strategist · 22/06/2022 16:45

Any update @Createcomets ?

pingpongpolly · 22/06/2022 19:08

Have you done a test yet? I'm keen to know as I've been following your story xx

JustGotToKeepOnKeepingOn · 22/06/2022 19:32

Hope you're ok OP...

Jmaho · 22/06/2022 19:42

Yes every time very early on
I had this very niggly pain in my hip literally two days after conceiving that continuing for about a month or so
Happened in all 4 pregnancies. Have never felt it since which is odd
Strangely with my third child I had negative pregnancy tests until around 8 weeks. My husband refused to believe I was pregnant but I knew I was
With my other 3 pregnancies I had positive tests very early before my period was due

wannabeamummysobad · 22/06/2022 20:13

I definitely did. It was during my TWW. I told my husband I was feeling symptoms and because I've never had period symptoms I just knew. He didn't believe me/want to get our hopes up as it was our first cycle trying.

I've just put my TWW feeling to bed. She's 10 weeks old 🥰

I had absolutely no idea. Complete shock both times, and symptoms were completely different. After the first shock, I was expecting similar symptoms and the second really threw me as well.

Both gorgeous surprises ❤️
