Hey lovely people

I've just come off the October bus and because of my long cycles my spreadsheet says that I skip November and would be due in December.

So I thought I'd start the December bus.

Here's the start of the stats - looking forward to some friends hopping on board soon.

Hello ladies,

I saw the GP yesterday and he has referred me for blood tests on CD3 and CD21, as well as suggesting DH goes for a sperm test.
He thought I was joking at first and is a little about having to wank into a pot, but needs must...

The doc said that as my periods are very regular but have not had any luck yet, it most likely points to an issue with ovulation. He also said that the fertility specialist at the hospital down the road isn't a big believer in the blood tests, as in they don't tend to give an definitive answer either way, but said there is no harm in having them.

Either way, I'm 99% sure I'm off the December bus

Good luck to the rest of you, and here is to a babyful 2011 for us!

Mimi1977 · 08/04/2010 12:39

Thanks womanlytales I didn't realise that - how frustrating. Sometimes I wonder why these things happen to get our hopes up only to be dashed. I think obsessive is normal isn't it?! That's unless you get lucky first month.Hope it works out for you.

Try to stay positive pinkie I know I keep saying it but I got pains when I was pregnant before and was convinced AF was coming. I know I've had them since and AF has truly come so all rather misleading but it's meant I haven't let myself get too down until I see AF for myself.

PinkiePoo · 08/04/2010 14:13

sparechange chin up honey, i have every bit of faith things will start to come together soon for you both. I find it hilarious the thought of men wanking into pots with a couple of Hustlers in front of them....poor things! They get it easy. We got leg stirrups and clamps...mmmmm nice!!

Seriously though hope it all starts soon for you

Thanks mimi. I will keep you posted, but for now i am just knicker checking every 2 minutes

Wholelottalove · 08/04/2010 19:19

Hello everyone. Am still on knicker watch too, seem to be coming down with a cold so not feeling too great and very relieved it's Friday tomorrow.

I reckon a little bit obsessive is ok - I mainly seem to have been about this time just before AF arrives so far.

AF due for me tomorrow, have to say it does feel iminent, everything is still crampy and (sorry if tmi) but my bits are really sore too. Still got sore boobs - last month I noticed I woke up and the sore boobs were gone then AF started later that day.

I really hate this waiting malarky, I'm too impatient!

Mimi1977 · 08/04/2010 19:47

You've done well not to test wholelottalove. I'm dying to but managing to hold off! Couldn't stay off the loo all morning as I was so convinced AF was here but not here yet. So hope it stays away - for us all!

Wholelottalove · 08/04/2010 19:55

Thanks mimi - I think I learnt my early testing lesson now, but really want to test so might tomorrow. Here's hoping it stays away for you and everyone else too!

CatherineEarnshaw · 08/04/2010 21:25

deacaf any news?? I have good feelings about you x

Personally I am in a living hell but trying really hard not to let it dominate my every waking second - only minute

The tests are darker daily but not uggins and the horrid hateful clearblue digital ( devils work miscarriage forboder) still saying 1-2 weeks so no idea but not looking good

decafgirl · 08/04/2010 21:42

Hi Catherine I do feel a bit more positive today (it's completely foolish but I can't help myself!) My temperature was significantly higher this morning, I've felt a bit sick most of the day & my boobs are a bit hot/tingly. I also have some niggly abdom pains....so, with the knowledge that I am sure I'm not pg I couldn't help myself and bought a test pack in Tesco tonight

Am going to POAS in the morning if there's no sign of AF. Bought a bottle of wine alongside my pg test as an insurance policy. My logic goes...maybe buying wine will make it be a BFP ah well, if it's BFN at least I've got wine...!

Thanks for the link boba I'll take a look and pinkie we will get AF even if no ov but it will be delayed xxx

PinkiePoo · 09/04/2010 08:14

decaf oooohhhh let us know and i like your thinking!!!! Wine cures EVERYTHING

I think you maybe right with the delayed AF as mine still not here and i am quitye sure it was due to no OV .....aarrggghhhhhh!!!!

SpanishLady · 09/04/2010 08:19

good luck decaf - lets us know asap what happened!

Catherine - fingers crossed everything will be ok x

decafgirl · 09/04/2010 09:01

Ah, BFN this morning ladies. Not surprised at all but did get that shakey nervous thing as I waited!

I still feel sick & have had a headache all night (can't find any pills in the house either. Grr!)

Am hanging around here until AF arrives God dammit!

Off to super fertile friend's house this morning, fully expecting her announcement... xxx

PS) temp still high too but don't think it's late ov as have had no ewcm...

PinkiePoo · 09/04/2010 09:55

decaf sorry honey, but yes hang here until AF arrives, IF it arrives

boba82 · 09/04/2010 11:44

Sorry to hear that decaf but at least you've got the wine for later hun

Catherine could you maybe go to an early pregnancy unit to have it confirmed? I think it still sounds ok hun x

Well, AF due anytime from now (although I am not expecting to be regular) I did have some cramps last night and today I keep feeling sick and have a terrible taste in my mouth, dare I hope just a little??

Wholelottalove · 09/04/2010 14:26

decaf sorry for you BFN, fingers crossed for you.

catherine hope you are ok, I agree maybe you could go to epu to set your mind at rest?

Well, I have news. I tested this morning and it was BFP!

Was pretty as had really been trying to convince myself this wasn't my month. Haven't had many signs that couldn't as easily have been AF on the way - boobs sore but no sorer than last month, no real sickness yet, although more constipation and cramping than normal. Other than that and feeling generally ill and with sore throat I feel normal!

Hope we get some more bfp's, keeping my fingers crossed for everyone.

Such fab news, congratulations hon xxxxx

Mimi1977 · 09/04/2010 16:20

Wholelottalove HOORAY!!! Congratulations. Nothing like a BFP to cheer us all up.

Decafgirl So sorry about the rubbish BFN. Lets hope AF turns up asap so you can start again. In the meantime have a big glass of wine and something you're not allowed to eat when you're pregnant.

Well I think I've managed to persuade DH to test tomorrow!! He had said Sunday as we wanted to avoid any disappointment of more BFNs but going to do tomorrow.

decafgirl · 09/04/2010 16:41

Ooh, good uck mimi I'm looking forward to seeing you on the graduates list soon!

I will indeed be having a large glass of vino tonight along with some special 'banned in pregnancy' treats...hmmm...soft boiled eggs and tuna pate anyone...? xxx

mumatron · 09/04/2010 17:38

big congratulation wll

i think i will pass on the pate and eggs thanks decaf

this 2ww must be the longest ever. i think im about 4dpo. so planning on testing in about 7 10 days.

hopefully the bfp's will keep coming.

womanlytales · 09/04/2010 17:55
