I've just come off the October bus and because of my long cycles my spreadsheet says that I skip November and would be due in December.

So I thought I'd start the December bus.

Here's the start of the stats - looking forward to some friends hopping on board soon.

Mimi glad you like your birthday! DD was a Jan baby and certain relatives don't give a gift, or just a 'token', as she had her 'big' present for Christmas. It winds me up no end!

Having said that, if this turns out to be The Month, I'll be over the moon...

mimi, thats really good to know! I'm having wobbles over having a late dec baby! Although not wobbling enough to stop ttc, and knowing me it'd be early anyway as dd1 was a week early, and the main side effect of the treament I had last year is that babies can be born 2-3 weeks early, but will still have my fingers crossed that we conceive asap!

rosie sorry to hear about the bfn's. yes edd would be 30-31st dec so still squeezing into dec bus for now. dp's bday is 30th dec. its funny because 3 friends/family members has babies on or around their dp's birthday. maybe a bit of their luck will rub of on me!

I can't believe that ilovehim That's just wrong. You should do the same for their children when they have birthdays in June!!

DH has his birthday the week before Christmas so if we're lucky this month it will be an expensive time but I don't want to stop trying in case this is the month!

I can only add to the sentiment about xmas, if I got pregnant this month it would be around the 20th Dec. I already have a kids birhtday early december and have have had 1 baby on time one 2 days late one 12 days late and one 2 days early.

My cousin was born on the 27th Dec and we always sent him 2 equal presents but I know other family members couldn't afford to do that so he normally only got one. Saying that if we did have a xmas baby there are some lovely names.

When we started TTC I thought it would only take couple of months (more fool me) and I was planning for a spring/summer EDD as I have always loved my late April bday.

Didn't really want a Dec baby as my mum's bday is xmas day and DH is 05th Jan and I know how much they miss out but TBH I couldn't care less now, I just want a BABY!! Sorry for sounding crazy lol!

Hi all. Sorry for the arrival of AF littlebee and mmmcoffee rosie sorry about the BFNs - I tested early last month (despite joining the non-early testing thread, I'm rubbish) and am determined not to this month to save stress and upset.

mimi it's really nice to hear how much you love your Dec birthday. DH and I had a little wobble about TTC earlier because of a potential due date reasonably close to xmas, but we're feeling like you boba82 and just want a baby too. You don't sound crazy at all! We dithered for a while before deciding to TTC no 2 and now we have decided, I'm feeling so impatient - been broody for over a year, but various circumstances meant we weren't ready until now.

Wholelottalove I am absolutely joining a 'dont test early thread' next month, if i hadnt have got those 4 positives so early i would never had known, i tested this morning again (i am due AF tomorrow) and its completely negative so it must have been a chemical pg - looking forward to cracking on with next month now - I dont mind a Christmas baby really Will certainly have fun with some names.

Hi Squitten and welcome to the bus! I have just bought two tests and am trying to wait until tomorrow first thing to test as am not almost 4 weeks late and had negative test two weeks ago. Keep symptom spotting - have felt sick alot and am sure i am getting rounder already (could just be from eating too much!). I'll cross my fingers for you if you cross your fingers for me!!!

squitten and bensmum I admire your restraint. I'm not meant to be testing until tomorrow but have some eBay cheapies and so tested yesterday and today. Oops . Both neg but no sign of AF. Bit stressed actually as we were meant to be waiting another month or two as we're in the process of remortgaging and I want to know it's gone through before getting pg, and then there's the whole baby-at-christmas thing, which I did with DD2 and found quite knackering.

Totallyfloaty sorry to hear about AF arriving. (btw I will be 40 in July so am aware of time too. Also sorry to hear about your "extensive damage". I had an elective CS with DD2 because of the damage I sustained from DD1... long story but I can sympathise with you)

Hi all, just wondered when do you start SWIing and when do you stop? I know it all depends on cycle length and all but I haven't been using Ov Kits to find out when I ov (usually get a pain but haven't this month nor have I much to report in the CM - does that mean I haven't Ov'd I wonder..) Anyway, cycle varies from 27 to 32 and started this month on CD12 (had S&D so couldn't any earlier anyway!)

When do you all start and how often? Oh - and when do you stop (with intent that is!)

Can I squeeze on the back pretty please?

Hi everyone, just checking in.

Still no AF for me...but have been impatient with testing so have had a few BFNs.

Will hold out a few more days and then test with something other than an ebay cheapie!

Really hoping I get a BFP this month as DH has now had a change of heart and decided he's not ready for babies yet. So upset with him; feel like i've been waiting ages for him to be ready - get to try one month and now will have to stop

Thanks - but just as soon as I made it onto the bus, I'm jumping off! My willpower lasted for all of 5mins once I bought the tests this afternoon and I got my BFP

I'm thrilled to bits. Poor old DH knows nothing because he's away and I'm tossing up whether I phone him or wait to tell him in person when he gets home...
