OK I have just worked out that if my next cycle is the same length as this one was then I will actually be due 1st October if I get pg so rather than sitting at the back of the September bus I thought I might skip straight ahead to the next one lol.

Plenty of chocolate and biscuits ready for the journey

nymph sorry it's a bit crap atm. Agree with the manic googling though. At least you'll feel you're doing something rather than just waiting for things to happen. Assuming that makes you feel better.

BUnder, don't want to give you false hope but that could have been an implantation bleed if it was light and only lasted a day or 2 days. Did you need to use tampons/pads as much as normal? Of course, you probably already know this. Fingers crossed for you.

Am thinking about trying to lose a couple of pounds over the next couple of weeks cos if I have managed to conceive this month, I actually have to eat constantly to stave off ms and so put a lot of weight on between 6 and 16 weeks. Anyone else done this before? Am assuming it's safe as long as I don't do the silly starvation thing.

And what has everybody "given up" on the 2ww? I have had the odd glass of wine but have limited my coffee intake to one or two a week.

Morning all, stats updated for today. I've also moved a couple of people up the bus a bit coz of cycle days.

Thanks people, won't have any wine this but might need it tonight, am havingba house full of teachers kids today whilst they all work!

Did some googling last night and viscocity can be made thicker by infection so that would be something more simple to fix?

jennimoo · 16/01/2010 13:15

Looks like I'm on my first 2ww as opk, CM and temperature are all suggesting I ovulated on Thursday! My cycle is about 5 days shorter than last month by the looks of things! I am going to try to wait until af is due on 29th but don't know if I'll be able to wait that long!
Jenni x

good luck Jenni!

Hello hello, can I use my Oyster card on this bus please?!

I know I'm aggravatingly all over the boards just now, but can't talk to friends and family about TTC (I cannot face the squeals and questions!) and MN is keeping me this side of sane...

I think this is me, but I might have worked it out all wrong:

TTC#1 Cycle1 UCL24 CD4

Thanks everyone who's been so supportive so far. I'm actually slightly appalled by how obsessed I'm being already, and it's my first cycle of TTC. I hope I calm down for everyone's sake

Good Luck all! x

Eadwacer, welcome! This is my first cycle of TTC too (already have a DD though), and I was surprised how obsessed I got at the start too!

Have calmed down now though, partly because I don't think its going to happen this month (I'm not even sure I have ovulated, plus not enough SWI even if I have!), and partly because other things have happened in my life this month which makes me not sure if this is 100% the right time to have a baby (we are still going to TTC, but it has just made me a little more laissez faire about it).

Stuffed - sorry to hear AF got you - fingers crossed that this is your lucky month!

VodkaGirl77 · 16/01/2010 15:07

Hi

I was wondering if I could join you all. I had my copper coil taken out on Wednesday, which is probably a bit late on in my cycle for an October baby, but you never know right?

Anyway my stats are

TTC#3 Cycle 1 UCL 28 CD20

Lorelai · 16/01/2010 15:16

Hi VodkaGirl, welcome!

This bus is really filling up - we may have to splash out for a double decker soon!

nymphadora · 16/01/2010 15:17

Hi newbys! and people from September!

Going to be a big bus this one!

digitalgirl · 16/01/2010 17:09

iloveGH am not giving up anything for the 2ww until I get a bfp. Not getting drunk and keeping to one coffee a day in general.

Feel as though I'm coming down with something. Which of course is not a symptom. Have two very busy weeks of work coming up so hopefully they should go quickly.

Sorry to those joining us from the September bus. September is traditionally the busiest time in the labour ward. Don't quite know what I'm getting at there, but something along the lines of 'bring on the 10/10 bfps!'

Lorelai · 16/01/2010 17:23

Aarrggghhhhh - this is so frustrating. I have no idea whether or not I have ovulated, and therefore no idea whether or not I am evening waiting for anything on the 2ww if that makes sense.

I noticed the tiniest amount of something that could have been EWCM, but equally could not. I have definitely had more of it in previous cycles, but since I haven't ever paid any attention to my cycle I don't know when in the cycle it comes, or if it is every month, or anything really (need a grrr emoticon!).

And we haven't managed much BD, so the chances that I am pg are minimal, which is fine; as I said above I am reasonably laid back about it for this month (at the moment!! ), but it would still be nice to know one way or the other if it was even possible.

Sorry, just needed to get that out - rant over!

Armi · 16/01/2010 20:50

Drags self up steps onto bus. Flops into nearest seat. Evening all. Can I join you? I don't even know if I'm on the right bus, but if you've got plenty of tissues, I don't really mind! In exchange, I've got mint humbugs and am willing to share. I also have a bad case of the 'this is never going to blardy happen' blues, so please excuse me if I retreat behind my newspaper.

Armi TTC#1 Cycle 7 UCL 28 CD 24

(I know I should be in the breathless 'shall I test?!' phase, but I just KNOW this has been another wash out, which is why I'm here not inflicting myself on the September bus. Blows nose on copy of The Times)

asianbabe · 16/01/2010 23:17

Hi All

Sorry been real quiet lately but still been checking up on all you lovely ladies daily to see how you all are getting on.

Hoping this bus has a BFP soon !!!!

digitalgirl · 16/01/2010 23:42

armi by the law of sod may you be pg.

Ok, despite the fact that there's a strong possibility that I've not even ovulated yet I have unusual 'symptoms' which mean I must be pregnant: itchy legs, darker areoli (nips), and seem to be ever so slightly hairier all over. Obviously I just need to exfoliate, depilate, and er stop staring at my nipples.

Oh and I promised myself I wouldn't symptom spot this time round. But 'unusual' ones don't count.

Anyone else got clear totally unrelated signs that mean they are at least 3 hours pregnant?

Armi · 16/01/2010 23:49

'Anyone else got clear totally unrelated signs that mean they are at least 3 hours pregnant? '

Oh yes. Random dizziness - totally unrelated to giving up smoking, obviously. Insane sense of smell - ditto. Occasional nausea - nothing to do with clearing out fruitbowl containing rancid satsumas. Insatiable hunger for oat-based products, particularly Maple Syrup flavoured oaty bar things - clearly nothing to do with being a greedy piggy. Strange feelings in the lower abdominal area - possibly related to excessive consumption of fibre-rich oaty products as mentioned above.

Have had the occasional boob-twinge but fear this is down to ill-fitting bra after Christmas weight gain.

See? I'm a hopeless case. I might just get another dog and give up on the whole thing. Rustles newspaper

digitalgirl · 17/01/2010 00:02

armi that's more like it.

Armi · 17/01/2010 00:06

Am exhausted from the effort of it all. Perks up Oooooh......exhausted. Adds 'impossibly tired for no good reason to list.*

Am clearly pregnant. Hurrah. Can I still finish this glass of wine?

BUnderTheBonnet · 17/01/2010 00:48

LOL at digitalgirl and arni's "symptoms". Me too!

Weird bleeding/AF has not stopped. Honestly doesn't feel like AF though. WARNING - TMI ALERT! It's brighter red and not the same consistency IYKWIM. And not quite as heavy. And besides, it's over a week early. But it's lasted two full days now.

Why could this not have happened last month, when I wasn't TTC?

Dratted smear test.

Armi · 17/01/2010 00:52

It'll all come right in the end, BTB, you'll see.

I'm too lazy to go to bed!

Well done on finishing the Masters essay! Have you got that hollow eyed look, accompanied by the too-much caffeine jitters?
