Seeing as we're a bit cramped, have no room for shopping and have a fair way to go yet i've hired us a double decker, hope no-one minds. Good news is there is a hot chocolate machine and a luxury loo for lots of POAS!

Morning Ladies,

No sign of AF as yet (I suppose I'm not due until monday anyway) so I did a test yesterday. B... F.... N. Stupid me! The temptation was just too much but I feel daft now. I'm going to try and hold my nerve until monday (if no sign of AF) and wait until then...
On another note, which tests are people using? I got some cheapies from ebay but I'm not sure if I trust them...

FactsAndFigures · 05/11/2009 09:30

Toffee and French I'm with you - the not knowing is doing my head in too

I'm now 8 days late and sat here with a hot water bottle on my tummy as it feels very achey - don't usually experience this, so I've told myself I'm in for a real heavy AF whenever it decides to turn up.

ToffeeMuser · 05/11/2009 09:35

My ranting yesterday meant AF arrived today, at least now I know. Hope you get confirmation one way or another Facts.

FactsAndFigures · 05/11/2009 09:41

Thanks Toffee and sorry to hear AF has got you, but glad you now know where you stand. Good luck for this cycle. x

asianbabe · 05/11/2009 10:06

Hi All

Feeling the same no sign of AF, 3 BFN's whats going on. Although am having sharp period type pains so maybe AF is on its way. Im not going to test agin until after the weekend!!

jumblequeen · 05/11/2009 10:10

Toffee - sorry to hear that! I'm feeling as though AF is due any minute to be honest so it looks like I may be joining you on the August bus...

Facts - eight days late?! Have you tested?

How is everyone else doing?

lifeistooshort · 05/11/2009 10:22

Nymphadora and Firerise sorry you got BFNs it is so disheartening isn't it

And LimeBlossom I really empathise having had the same problem last month I was at least 4 days late and I am never late. After cracking two CBDs I resigned myself. Had horrendous period. But like you I just wanted to get on with it.

Nothing to report here apart from that feeling that I am wearing too tight clother or that I am constipated (sorry it TMI) except I am not. Nothing else to report at all. Pretty sure I am not pgt this month

skihorse · 05/11/2009 11:09

Does anyone know if crying at Taggart is a symptom?

FrenchLimeBlossom · 05/11/2009 11:23

Thanks ladies. It does make a difference to hear from other people that I'm not insane for getting all upset and frustrated by this.

However I do have the following symptoms:
mad crying at random things (yesterday because i had laddered my stocking), odd pains in one side, headache, dizziness (nearly fainted on Saturday and am more of a sturdy sort than fainting blossom), sore boobs, high BBT (still way above my coverline), bloated and feeling as though i have a cold but not actually having one.

Am i so neurotic that i have convinced myself i have PG symptoms when i am not in fact PG?

Sherida · 05/11/2009 11:55

FRENCH Yeah, I'm doing mad symptom spotting too. Crying over an advert someone told me about (didn't see it, just told about it) stomach pains, sickness and sudden hot flashes in my cheeks. I'm trying to be sensible but dammit - I want a baby.

symptom of your insanity Ski, but then the twinkle in the eye of Marc McManus could do it to any one of us...

skihorse · 05/11/2009 12:44

Curly They're all deid! He's deid, Michael's deid (died this week on re-runs) - only Jackie is not deid but if I were her I'd look for somewhere to hide! n.b., I didn't cry at Michael dying - it wasn't even sad!

FactsAndFigures · 05/11/2009 13:11

I popped to Boots to replace the 2 FR tests that DH didn't know that I'd used last week came home and told myself to put them away in the drawer until at least Saturday.

But then...... the urge to test just wouldn't go away so I POAS and ........ BFP

I just sat there in silence for what seemed like an eternity and then said "Oh My God!"

Even DH doesn't know as he's in a meeting

Now I'm panicing about how to avoid drinking, especially on works Christmas nights out!!!!

CurlyCasper · 05/11/2009 13:15

Congrats and facts. Don't panic - all will be well. Let your DH drink and you drive, or be "on antibiotics" or just say you had too much at an earlier party and so on and so forth. Just chill and enjoy your good news.

whitjamean thur aw deid ski? Wiz it anuther murrrrdder? (ahem, going to stop this on here now)

Great news facts! another graduate. Hopefully it's catching

FrenchLimeBlossom · 05/11/2009 13:57

wow facts, that's so great! well done

lifeistooshort · 05/11/2009 14:07

Congrats Facts my tip is to go for the budweiser blue (i.e alcohol free), if you hold the bottle cunningly, people cannot see what you are drinking and they assume you are drinking the real deal...it works wonders

jumblequeen · 05/11/2009 16:11

Great tip, lifeistooshort...

PollyPoo · 05/11/2009 16:26

Wow, I disappeared for a few days and look at the these BFP's! Well done to all the newly graduated!

Looks like this is going to be a lucky bus!

nymphadora · 05/11/2009 18:03

Congrats facts

well nothing so far today but am now in bed after a biggish allergic reaction to my tea had 1 tiny chilli in my huge bowl of veggies with wraps and my toungue started to swell I loved my tea dh just came back in time have downed loads of antihistamines and am now in bed . Have had lips tingle & swell a bit odd times before but not like this. I eat chillies all the time too but I guess I will have to stop now

is it a symptom?

keevamum · 05/11/2009 18:12

Am not sure whether to join or not. I feel like I might be tempting fate. My stats are: TTC#3 Cycle 1 UCL 30 CD 40-45?? Not too sure when my last period was apart from in September some time....I keep symptom spotting, heavy feeling in lower abdomen, slightly nauseous on some days and occasional period like cramps....However, that could all be due to AF coming. I know I should test and put myself out of my misery but due to previous m/c's I feel I will become a nervous wreck. Have had some spotting already, so I felt sure I would be coming on but then I didn't. Help what should I do? To test or not to test that is the question?
