Seeing as we're a bit cramped, have no room for shopping and have a fair way to go yet i've hired us a double decker, hope no-one minds. Good news is there is a hot chocolate machine and a luxury loo for lots of POAS!

nymphadora · 11/11/2009 19:25

Am so sure there was a line dh didn't get home til the bleeding had started feel so wiped out

chalky3 · 12/11/2009 00:18

Congratulations CurlyCasper and lifeistooshort, two more graduates from our huge bus! Sorry nymphadora, next time hopefully the line will be unmistakable. Lucybrad I'm in the same boat, tested yesterday and BFN, hope we get the result we want!

Been having that 'too tight' feeling that lifeistooshort described for a couple of weeks now. Definitely haven't put on weight and have been accusing DH of shrinking stuff in the tumble drier (at least he does the washing!) The BFN's aren't too encouraging though. Time will tell I guess.

babyboos · 12/11/2009 01:21

got my line aweek ago very faint and not getting darker but still a faint line :-
)

lucybrad · 12/11/2009 09:14

chalky we can be poas buddies, although I feel like i dont want to tempt fate anymore by poas. Only time will tell i guess. I dont reaaaly know what my cycle length would be as i has mirena removed after having no periods for years. First cycle was 26 days so 28 days was a guess. Looking back at old diaries it seems to range from about 26-31 days, but i could still be messed up by mirena. had two glasses of wine last night as i was so stroppy and the kids are ill. feels like af to me! cramping has died down now though and baps are getting more tender, but only as much as they would be for AF

lucybrad · 12/11/2009 09:15

and congrats babyboos on your BFP!

lifeistooshort · 12/11/2009 09:47

nymp I am so gutted for you. You must be so upset I cannot even begin to imagine.

Thanks all for the congrats, and ghouls thanks for checking on my. I would have come other to the an thread yesterday, but I only had 5 minutes in my day to post on here.

Lucy it was my second cycle but we did a lot of BD

chalky that sounds encouraging. I had two BFNs with DS before I got a BFP.

Good luck to the remaining ones on the bus, I will still lurk and think of you

nymphadora · 12/11/2009 11:45

It's ok I was lurking but couldn't quite do it myself. Have started my own thread in chat so it disappears and I don't depress this one!

stuffedmk · 12/11/2009 12:08

Am driving myself quietly mad lol

CD24 of UCL26/27

Do I actually feel sick? Why do I have the twinges (don't normally get them this early if AF is due).....Is it all in my head?

I know I will have to test soon, no patience

vix206 · 12/11/2009 13:20

I'm going mad too! I had terrible cramps last night and lower back ache (had that for days now) and my bb's are starting to feel tender and heavy (moreso than they usually do at this point in my cycle). Having mega-weird dreams and had a real cry this morning over nothing. I feel so sure that I am pregnant, but I'm also expecting the worst if that makes sense.

I have got 2 FR tests burning a hole in my knicker drawer at home, but I am really trying to resist the urge. I am a woman obsessed though

Ate a brie sandwich at lunchtime and have felt sick ever since because it was only afterwards I realised with horror that you're not supposed to.

givecarrotsachance · 12/11/2009 14:16

vix the only reason about the brie, which you prob know, is that there is the teeniest, tiny chance of getting a type of food poisoning from unpasturised cheese, which brie sometimes is. If it's a pre-made sandwich it's prob pasturised anyway. Either way, it won't make any difference. You and if it's there your baby will be absolutely fine. Good luck on the result!

givecarrotsachance · 12/11/2009 14:16

Oh and when are you due? Meaning, when are you going to test?

stuffedmk · 12/11/2009 14:20

I caved, BFN but it early so what the point was I don't know.....just couldn't stop myself lol.
I have mild sort of pulling sensation, am wondering if I would even notice if I wasn't looking out for symptoms though. Oh well time will tell either way I suppose.

vix206 · 12/11/2009 14:41

carrots, thanks - yes its the listeria risk. I just totally forgot until it was too late - this is all a bit new to me!! I am obsessing about it a bit but I am sure you are right. It was in a Boots pre-pack sandwich, I feel quite nauseous now just thinking about it. At the time it was the ONLY thing I fancied (typical)...

I am due on 17th, so still a few days to wait.

Sorry you got a BFN stuffedMK, I have a strong feeling I may have to do an early test tomorrow first thing, I know it is wrong but I also know I am weak!!!

Feeling really achey and grumpy, but long may that last because I'm hoping its all good signs! I never get any PMT symptoms at all you see, so I would expect to be totally symptom free until the actual day of my period. Fingers crossed for everyone xx

givecarrotsachance · 12/11/2009 14:55

Listeria, that's it, Couldn't just remember which one it was and I'm short of time to google. You will be fine. TBH I didn't take any notice of any of that stuff when I was pregnant before, and my DS is now 5, fab, totally healthy and bright. Worry not.

vix206 · 12/11/2009 15:01

Thank you! My mum just said much the same to me!

stuffedmk · 12/11/2009 15:06

vix206 It is so hard to resist the pull of the stick lol!!
I very rarely have PMT until AF is virtually here so it is impossible not to read into the cramps that have been around for a few days now (even if they are fairly mild).
i just want to know either way at the moment, although with a night out tomo I hope if AF is on her way she doesn't turn up early.

vix206 · 12/11/2009 15:14

ME too stuffedMk, this is how I feel - I just want to know!

My cramps come on around this time and last all night and they are worse than my normal peroid cramps. Not doubled-over in pain bad, but dull, throbbing and like a stretching feeling. And the backache that I've had for the past 4/5 days is really quite sore.

Really strange, if I have imagined all of this I will be so annoyed with myself.

Last night I went to my friends flat (I have been there for the past 3 years every week). I could not remember which umber she lived at, 11 or 12. I had to ring her and ask! It was so embarrassing, she said 'you're not pregnant are you?' and I laughed my head off!

stuffedmk · 12/11/2009 15:16

I am sure I am being tortured aswell. I went up to the local second hand market today to have a look for some bargains lol.
Anyway, on the way there there was a random moses basket on the pavement that someone had chucked out. Then when I was wandering around the market there were loads of stalls (which usually don't have any baby stuff) with loads of baby things. One had a buggy, and a carrier and travel cot then the next one had not one but four pushchairs plus loads of baby clothes.
I could take it as a sign, but I think that is way to hopeful so I am going with the torture option

vix206 · 12/11/2009 15:22

Yeah I'd go with the torture option too

stuffedmk · 12/11/2009 15:27

Funy you say the cramps are more afternoon to evening time because the nausea is hitting me far more in the afternoon than the morning ......must stop symptom spotting!!

stuffedmk · 12/11/2009 15:28

Funny even

vix206 · 12/11/2009 16:09

Nausea creeps in around this time for me too, but maybe that is because I am hungry? Oh why do we torment ourselves like this?!

stuffedmk · 12/11/2009 16:44

I'm glad I'm not the only one driving herself crazy.

Well I have a mammoth weekend, including (call me crazy) an all night rave tomorrow night with DH....I'm 30 years old for goodness sake why am I doing this to myself?
So I probably won't get back on here until Monday by which time I should know one way or the other.
Will keep my fingers crossed for you vix and anyone else testing over the next few days!
