Totally agree. Even now with AF at full flow (sorry tmi ) i still feel i have symptoms. Metallic taste in mouth, bouts of nausea, enormous boobs.

I done another HPT this morning
Was -tive, then went back 20mins later and I can see a line!!!!! However the line is only visable to MY eyes aparently! I tried to take a pic to post up here, so that I could get opinions, but it just doesn't show up! I can only see it if I hold it up to the light at a certain angle I sound like a mad woman now!

I must admit, it is a very very faint line, and I think it could be an evapouration line, and it was after the time limit.......

I can't get another test, Ive gone through 4 in the past week, I havn't got any more money for tests!

AGGHHHHH! Help!

PlantASeed most websites say that if the line is colourless then it is an evap line, if it has colour then there's a good chance it's +ve.

plant hi, i think you should make an ante natal appointment with your DR. You have had a positive, they will check and either you will be or won't be but you haven't had to spend on more tests

If your Dr's are anything like round here, you won't get an appointment for at least 10days, and you will be sure one way or another by then anyway

i agree with sparkly. go to the doctors, tell them you had a positive, and they'll test again. they dont need to know that you weren't positive it was a positive

plant, I have everything crossed this is August's first BFP.... Can imagine you are going through hell...

Can't add any expertise to the debate I'm afraid. Think sparkly's advice makes sense though...?

Hope it's not wishful thinking + imaginary lines = disappointment for you. Dunno what brand it is, but if it was -ve in the first place I'm not sure....??!! .

Does anyone have a clearblue test at home? I am tring to find out what measure of HCG they are, I though the ones I had were 10 Mui But I have just read the instructions and it says they are 25mui. I had a look on the website but it doesn't tell you the exact amount it measures??!!

Not late yet, but I have a ridiculously long Leuthal stage, so I ov'ed about 14 days ago.

The thing is even though I would be giving the same advice in your position, now that it's happened to me, I'm finding it hard to take my own advice and am getting excited at the 'possibility' that it could be!

Oh well, if I am pregnant I will still be pregnant in a weeks time, it's just hard not to go out and buy a hundred more tests to find out for sure. If I'm not, then AF will get me and I can be for a few days and then again for my next fertile week!

which tests have you tried?

If you ov about 14 days ago, FF website says to get a reliable result either way, test at about 18 days past ov, ( I think)

I used asda and chemist own brand they were loads chaeper than clearblue, but this is ovbiously the reason why

Are superdrug own brand better then? Better than clearblue? How much are they?

Well AF caught up with me 2day a bit gutted but also relived that the not knowing is over,and can start afresh this month

I would like to jump on the August bus but I don't have a clue about stats, miscarried on 10th October just waiting on first AF after this so we can TTC so not sure if I will be on August or September bus, just depends when AF puts her appearance in, how confused do I sound? Good luck to all!

plant lots of people around here swear by Superdrug. Have always had reliable results with FR personally but obviously way more costly. Superdrug about a fiver I think.

growingbump Am assuming you have stopped bleeding from the mc and if so, I would count from now as I caught straight after one of mine, so no follow on period, (does that make sense? ) Good luck

Hi liahgen I stopped bleeding a week after mc, do you think I should count my 28 days (normal cycle for me) from then? I was going from date of mc. Do you mean you got pregnant straight after mc?

yes with no bleed after the erpc bleed, (was a mmc)

thanks for that liahgen, am tempted to pee on a stick now as if I count from mc then I am 2 days late, although only baby danced once as was trying to wait for first period like they told me too. Will try and hold off another week and see if AF gets me!
