Thank you!

ilovethebeach · 11/11/2009 13:06

Good luck to all of those near the front of the bus, I feel very behind at CD6!!
A question for anyone around- have you given up coffee or limited it at all? I'm talking proper coffee rather than instant.

Cazzr · 11/11/2009 13:10

I've gone decaff over the past few months for tea and coffee (but then had wanted to for a while) but I didn't last time... infact had cravings for proper filter coffee last time but didn't consume in excess..

SparklyAlice · 11/11/2009 16:52

Ilove i think it depends how much you drink tbh. I don't drink much coffee, but drink quite a bit of tea, so have tried to cut that down more because i am anemic than anything else and being pg makes me more anemic, so trying to get as healthy as possible before to give me the best start to the pg (last pg was a struggle)

Plus, it'll happen next month. And at least you won't be as pregnant in Prague. It's small consolation I know but you gotta reach for positives.

nattiecake · 11/11/2009 18:09

ok leebob

PlantASeedWatchItGrow · 11/11/2009 18:24

Oh Nattie

I was hoping for some good news, is anyone else due to test?

I'm still waiting after my -tives. Although I still have the test from the other day and can still see a line on it, I have compared it to the one I did the day before (same brand) and the other one does not have a line??!! But no more testing for me yet, too expensive buying all those tests.

We need some BfP's to lift everyones mood!

Will be testing again at the weekend as my last cycle was only 32 days, so this months looks likely to be another short one!

nattiecake · 11/11/2009 18:31

did you make an apt at the doctors yet??

TeaFan · 11/11/2009 18:50

Hi all, to those of you feeling down about not getting the timing right don't beat yourselves up please! You never know and I get it wrong virtually every month and am going to get pregnant very soon regardless!

Quick question, CD9 today for me and still bleeding slightly, normally finishes on CD5 and definitely 100% gone by CD7 so not sure if this is normal?? Apart from that everything was on time so not sure what is happening... although I have been getting some fluttery tummy ache so maybe I have a bug or something.

liahgen · 11/11/2009 19:54

well I have my 19 day progesterone test tomorrow and so that will tell me if my eggs are any good or not. Fairly sure I ov this month and if FR are to be believed, I could possibly test on Friday.

I have no money though so that'll stop me.

nattie hope it works out for you next month.

Loujalou · 11/11/2009 20:22

I have bought lots of things this month which wouldn't be suitable if pregnant. Got some very cute patent heels and skinny jeans. Also bought some nice underwear. So bound to get pregnant

That is if I have ovulated....

bigmuther65 · 11/11/2009 21:19

sat Quietly at the back here waiting for AF to go,my birthday 2moro oh asked what i wanted (ever the romantic) told him just be wiling and able lol going to try the every other day approach this month.

PoppyIsApain · 11/11/2009 21:35

PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE i have none, would love to announce xmas day to family about brilliant news, CD1 and fretting, i know im being stupid, but feel it has took me so long to say yes to a baby due to fear, i have done my waiting in my silly head

ToffeeMuser · 11/11/2009 21:56

Patience! Just enjoy the trying.

PoppyIsApain · 11/11/2009 22:36

I try too toffeemuser
Had such a bad week though, my rabbit died at 5 months old , me and dh had big argument which never happens and i nearly gave my puppy away too neighbour, could just cry and would like something great too happen IYKWIM

ToffeeMuser · 11/11/2009 22:52

Aw, poor rabbit. It's so sad when pets die. I cried for weeks when my cat died.

I am currently basking in other people's baby news. Someone I know has got pregnant just weeks before she was due to start IVF. I am very, very happy for her as she's been waiting so long.

PoppyIsApain · 11/11/2009 22:56

so happy for your friend toffee, i love this thread cos everyone understands what each other are feeling, thank you for showing me support, going bed now night all x {smile}

FloweryBoots · 11/11/2009 23:33

Crikey. Braved making my first ever post a few days ago, just logged back in and it's taken me half an hour to catch up! You're a keen ol' bunch!

Frankly quite terrified that here seems to be so much involved in TTC - Temps, OV dates, gunk I'm not sure about, OV pains I'd never heard of, all kinds of sticks to wee on and calanders to follow. I'll be going for the having sex and hoping it happens approach, at least for now (can't say what sort of a wrec I'll be in a few months if that doesn't instantly work!). Of course that does reliey on DH stopping being terrified and actually agreeing to sex, which as yet hasn't happened. Apparently waiting till after the weekend will make all the differece and he'll be keen as mustard. I'm not convinced! Trying not to get cross though - it's hardly romantic.

PlantASeedWatchItGrow · 12/11/2009 08:41

nattie no I havn't made an appointment, am guessing it must be an evapouration line, I just wish I know what one of those looked like, so I could compare. But if no AF by the weekend I am testing again!

loujalou That is bound to work, and a proven fact!

Loujalou · 12/11/2009 09:08

Plant you are right its a proven theory buy lots of non-pregnancy friendly stuff then you will get duffed. Well here's hoping. Fingers crossed it wasn't an evaporation line. Which test have you tried?

Although my temps are all over the place FF thinks I have ovulated. Hoorah! So we will see. I wasn't convinced and its my first month temping.

Cazzr · 12/11/2009 09:27

nattie: for you but will no doubt be joining you soon on the next bus.

Plant: test!test!test! Heh I am a bad influence.

FloweryBoots: I know what you mean, we weren't even trying with DS and it was a one time 'shot' if you get what i mean. Because this time round is 'planned' it seems harder/more stressful. I think I scared DH off too so have more or less written this month off (tho not going to jump off the bus just yet just incase) and have told DH I'm not instigating sex from now on till he decides to go for it!
I'm not temping but have known for months my cycle is pretty standard as I always get ovulation pains on day 14 so it's hard not to know the best time to try has arrived...

lovesaruby · 12/11/2009 14:41

Afternoon ladies, hope everyone in the 2ww is coping better than me! Dh is even bugging me already to poas, what chance have I got of waiting if he's at it already! I did want to pick your brains though - anyone who temps know anything about implantation dips? I had a big dip in my temps yesterday (8dpo) and then back up again this morning and, looking back on my chart when i conceived dd2 I had a dip the day before an implantation bleed. What does everyone think? Am I looking too hard for signs?? (Trudges off back to continue rocking in the corner, maybe lick a window or two )

mabh · 12/11/2009 16:31

Can we have some bfps, please? I keep have to go over to the old July bus to see them.

weeks for me yet... still waiting for my new monitor to tell me when/if I ovulate!

LOL at the reluctant DHs. Mine started out thinking it was a great excuse for a shag-fest. Now month 4 and he has announced that he only has time for quickies... charming. Thank goodness this month's critical period should be this weekend, so I can force him into foreplay.

How romantic

I am completely mystified by the window-licking, but you seem to enjoy it, so...
