Just been having a read to catch up - Congrats popsy really good news!! Ive found myself in bed by 10 at latest most nights!! The sickness still continues too but i am in a "it can throw whatever it likes at me and i wont complain!" type mood - tried for so long i dont care!!

Stac - must be really exciting that you can feel the movement now - i cant wait for that!!

I had my early scan last week and they put me at 9 weeks - as my doc organised that one my mw sorted one for tro so think i will also have another in couple weeks so can get downs scan part done too. Was grea to see the heart beating in there tho!!

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

Hey ladies

Saw the midwife today got bloods done and the usual checks, everything seems fine. Got bloods for downs and spina bifda suddenly feel bit nervous about it (typical worry about everything lol) She said it was too early to check for heartbeat as it is quite hard to find and they dont like to worry you for nothing, also cant be sure of being able to offer a scan to put your mind at rest. I agreed that I worry enough as it is lol. Doc came to see me as have had panic attacks he thinks they may have upped my thyroxine too quickly but he cant get a clear picture for another 3 weeks so back at hospital then but other than that all seems well (sorry for boring you all with this)

How is everyone today? pospy you ok? thinking of you all {{Chocolate flavoured virtual hugs coming to you all}} oh and indistrial strength baby dust **

Hi everyone,

Fantastic day stac that everything is going well & movements (thats the bit I'm really looking forward too after see smile on DH when I finally get BFP!) lol.

Peju - welcome back! I'm sure everything will go well & I bet you're glowing.

pops - Hope you are feeling a bit better today.

Clure how's the back?

Ven hope your house is totallyt defrosted & warmed up now.

Hello to everyone else!

Had a very restless night as my nose is back to being totally blocked & feel dehydrated. DH woke me up at 3 cos he needed a drink & didn't go about it quietly. So he fell back to sleep 10 mins laer & I was awake till quarter to five!!!!
I did dream though - i dreamt that my nan gave me a suitcase with a pink knittled pram coat on the top and I left it on the train. When I remembered it I ran down stone steps at the station to get to another platform but I had to walk through this large puddle getting my feet & flip flops wet!

Thats the 2nd dream with water & flip flops!
Think this is my dream diary!

Ladybird10 · 02/02/2010 19:45

Deb im on CD 13, I know what you mean about the sex drive, ive had a small amount of CM and ovary pain today so i will probably ovulate any day now so thinking i must make an effort to make myself irresitable for DP

stac14 · 02/02/2010 20:08

Thanks ladies, it's always good to be able to talk about things.

debi I used to get times like that as sex felt like a chore sometimes, we eventually took a step back and I stopped telling dp when we were supposed to do it and just initiated it instead, kind of helped with the routine lol. For your cm try grapefruit juice, green tea, evening primrose from after you ov until just before you ov. All worth a try clomid can play havoc with cm

Thanks ladybird your right preseed can be a turn off, you could add it into the play part (omg tell me to bugger off lol)

fairy your dreams are developing a theme, have you checked online about water and flip flops? How are you feeling now?

clure have you heard from Guys yet?

popsy hows you? Is your mum feeling any better*jo hows things with you? is dh and ds feeling any better?

Hey to everyone else, how are you all?

Hi ya,

When i got home today there was a message from Cons secretary asking me to call her back - now worrying what it's about!!!

I had a weird dream again last night but forgotten it now.

Water is something to do with life passing by & sandals are saying I'm comfortable with my life (yeah right) so don't think it's that. Deb I too feel I'm overdue a holiday!

More rows with BT but able to get money back as it's in dispute. They say line is fine!!!

Stac It's nice to hear how well it's going for you. Plus gives us some experience of what will happen in the future.

I've had a couple of EVCM days the past two - prob just over active rather than it meaning I've ovulated.

Hope everyone else has had a good day

Ladybird10 · 02/02/2010 21:00

Ha ha i wont tell you to bugger off stac good idea though, I prefer to use durex tingle but thats no good when TTC, i do the same as you did and no longer tell DP when its the right time of the month to be BDing as he has told me that it puts to much pressure on him to perform and then he thinks im only wanting it for one reason...well he's kind of right he he

Fairygodmother1 · 02/02/2010 21:23

I can't work men out - they moan when they don't get it enough & when we want it loads they moan we only want them for one thing. I was under the impression they only want us for one thing (then thye cooking, cleaning & ironing at other times lol).

I've now got myself into a state about what the cons secretary is gonna tell me. it's prob something to do with scans but always the pessimist me!

try not to worry fairy it may just be info of your ivf. I would feel the same way though, worry bout everything lol. Let us know how you get on hun x

OP posts:
Venetia2 · 03/02/2010 10:36

Fairy I am sure the message is something small, not something to worry about, they call without thinking the effect it has on us to get the missed call! I am the worlds biggest worrier, so know how you are feeling, hope you have managed to get in touch with them today. Sounds like good news about BT though?

Stac how exciting feeling the baby move! Congratulations.

Peju sorry the MS has got you but like you said, at least its for a good reason!

Ladybird and Debice I know what you mean about not feeling like BDing at the right time or it being too much pressure for DH/DP. I don't tell DH for similar reasons. I agree about not understanding men, they want it all the time and then when you are offering it on a plate its too much pressure...!

Hi everyone else.....
Am wondering about accupuncture or reflexology, not sure about having needles stuck in me but it seems to work for a lot of people. Don't really have the money but think I could just about squeeze it in if I am careful....Any thoughts/advice?

jobobpip08 · 03/02/2010 10:37

ladybird you can insert preseed up to 15 mins before bd, so you can put it in before you go to bed?

Go Stac we'll be calling you Tracy Cox soon! Lovely news you can feel baby! Only a month till your next scan!

fairy I think you need a holiday! I think stac is right, that call is probably about info for you, but yes, its hard not to worry.

clure how is your back tday?

Got both DH and DS back to work/school this week so at least I can watch what I want on the telly! I have officially joined POAS (Pee on a Stick) Anonymous. Must stop it, its still a bit too early to tell. Going into school this afternoon to help with 'mix up afternoon' where they mix up nursery, reception and year 1 into groups and they have different things to do/make. Helps the children get to know each other and the other teachers.

Hello to everyone else, hope you're all well

Hi ven thanks, its quite sporadic movement but still exciting. My friend is a reflexologist, she says its fantastic for fertility. She did a case study for college on a woman with fertility issues and after about 4 months she got bfp so could be worth a try.

Hi jo who is tracy cox? Cant wait till the scan to be honest, glad I can feel movement but looking forward to seeing the baby. Great you got ds/dh back to work/school. Thats great you get to interact with lo at school, they dont do anything like that here.

Hi to everyone how are you?

Hi all. I'm off work today as been up since 2.30 being sick Not sure if MS or ill, feel rubbish now.
Glad all went well with MW Stac its lovely to hear, not boring at all

Thanks for asking how my mum is Jo and Stac. Mums feeling a little better thank you, still away to go, but on the mend

Ven, i would definately give reflexology a go. Not sure if it was the main difference with my BFP, but it certainly helped me relaxI had it for 3/4 months in total.

Hows work fairy and Clure? Ladybird i tried grapefruit juice, but got horrendous heartburn, but its supposed to work
Hope you had a lovely day at ds school Jo, sounds like fun. Thanks for your email, lovely of you

Had a bit of a panic yesterday. One of my kids at school got slap cheek, its not good to get if pg. Asked my TA, whos alao my friend to work with this child in the role play she asked why? after several exchanges, i just whispered "I'm Pregnant!" she instantly blubbed and ushered him out the class. First person i've told, except you lovely ladies.Called MW this morning and she said its only dangerous if you contract it and adults don't normally get it. Phew!!

looks like we need a new thread soon ladies. Did we decide on a name???

lots of super powered bady dust xxxxxx

jobobpip08 · 03/02/2010 12:19

stac tracy cox- UK/Aussie sex therapist? She's been on the telly telling us all what we should be doing lol!

popsy sorry you've been sick, ((()))). Hopefully it will pass really quick so keep yourself wrapped up and hydrated. Seems a bit sudden for bad MS? There is lots of cold/stomach bugs going round here. Lots of germ killing handgel when you back to work!

ven reflexology I hear is good, I do acupuncture but thats only because I had a horrendous experience with a reflexologist who didn't understand about loss/grief AT ALL and left me so upset she then said I wouldn't benefit from it as I was so upset, so didn't do it! So pick your practitioner carefully I think are the words of advice here! Not that acupuncture is bad, depends how little you like needles - they don't really hurt. And surprisingly I do relax there, the woman is really good to talk to and has a good comprehension of what I'm going through, so I always feel positive when I leave, even if I'm in tears when I go in.

lunchtime baby dust xxxx

stac14 · 03/02/2010 12:47

popsy my ms didnt kick in till about 8 weeks but some women get it quite early. but as jo say keep the fluids up and rest loads. What is slap cheek? is it impetigo?

jo wow me a sex therapist, dp thinks he is redundant for the lack of bding we have had since bfp, just not in the mood. But I can talk a good game lmao

Defo need a new thread, list of names on a postcard please lol What about Fertility treatments and successes? Nah thats rubbish, something quirky/funny would be good xx

OP posts:
popsy1 · 03/02/2010 13:15

Stac its a contagious (spelling??) mainly in children. It looks like their cheek has been slapped as it goes bright red. Can cause problems in pg up to 20 wks!
Ive had nausea but no sickness over the last week. I was so poorly last time (i had 2months off work) DH has ordered me a day on he sofa!
Jo prob is just a bug, hopefully be back to work tomorrow.
Agree, something funny for a name!!

clairebear88 · 03/02/2010 13:49

hi girlies

Wow been busy on here lately.

Clure - Definately nice to have a rest from clomid but im always thinking if I had taken another 3 months would that have been when i fall preg. I hope your back is starting to feel better I suppose you cant really get into the swing of things if your in pain?

Stac - I did cross stitch a few yrs ago as my friend was preg so I done a nice teddie holding a banner and once she had given birth i stitched the name of bubs on there. She still has it in a frame in her bedroom and she is 6 now.
I bet you cant wait for your scan it will be great.

Ladyb - I have also thought i have this hostile womb thing but have not tried the preseed so I might get me some of that lol.

Deb - I keep having dreams about men from work ( sexy dreams at that ) and when i go in the next day and see them i get all embarrased. Not sure why this is happneing as am so in love with DH but i cant control my brain whilst asleep

pops - hope your nausea is not too bad but i have heard its a good sign of a strong pregnancy so all good.

ven - I had reflex at my local college last year so only cost £8 an hr and they go through your meds so you can mention about concieving so she can work on the right bits. It didnt make me fall but was relaxing so anything helps.

Well no news here im on cd19 and got quite a of bding in so fingers crossed. Ou chickens got eaten by a fox the other night so that was sad and a really blubbed but think my emotions are still high at mo.

Love and jaffa cake dust to you all

stac14 · 03/02/2010 14:05

claire definately cant wait for scan, just love seeing the lo. I am going to go at the weekend for a cross stitch kit to give me soemthing to do. DP was going to take me last weekend but I was shattered lol Thats rotten about your chickens hun {{hugs}} for you xxx

Hi all,

I finally got in contact today & they mixed up mine & DH's blood tests so we've both got to have them done again!!!! Nothing serious.

Currently on phone to BT while typing. Did get through 20 mins ago & they said no fault wwith the line so they're reinvestigating. Then phoned mum cos she'd rang my mobile while I was queuing & there was clicking noises as though someone had picked up the phone. How dodgy is that???? [hmm[

Had a lovely class trip today. Feel shattered.

Also had EWCM again today??? I'm on day 21 today...also feel very periody around my lower stomach (as I call it). One min I think I have it all sussed & they next mother nature just confuses me!

Sorry to hear about ms pops and about the panic. One thing is it's a good sign saying you are pg. I think the illness & catching things goes with our job. I'm still fighting this cold. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel with it (only blown my nose 3 times today lol )

How is everyone today?

Hi all, stac I bet it feels amazing being able to feel your baby. Thanks for staying on here and keeping us updated, I love hearing peoples experiences.
Well I'm ill, yet again. I don't know if I've said before, but I support adults with learning disabilities, Autism and challenging behaviour in a day service. One of the men I support has been really ill for almost a month and nearly everytime he comes to the day service, I've been working with him so I really do think I've caught it off him as he is also off ill this week too. I've called the doc this time and he perscribed some anti-sickness tablets and some tablets to stop me going to the loo all the time.
Hope everyone is well.
Good luck to all ttc xxx

Fairygodmother1 · 03/02/2010 18:24

Aww Becky I know there is this flu bug going round but also a stomach bug. I think it's just that time of year.

Ooh thread new name could be the one I suggested before - Clomid Part 4 - the experienced return...

Any other suggestion????
