Fairygodmother1 · 13/11/2009 22:13

Aww big hug Clure - it's gotta be one of us soon! Still nothing her except feelings of coming on but nothing happening.

Stac - no you are not selfish (btw Wilkos do a pk of 2 for like £2.49 or something by freedom - the tampon type people). It is seriously getting to the point where I can't sit in the stafroom cos all I can see is growing bellies & hear baby talk!!!!

Frigging unfair life!!!!

Well thats my mini-rant.
Have a good weekend - weather's looking grim!

hiya
thislittlesister - think armstrong & miller are the funniest thing on telly at the moment (think my typon g going wonky due to wine consumption) I love runnning in thr rain, its real therapy
stac - its a bummer, it all feels so unfair
fairy - i get totally what you mean

heres more babydust for you all xxx

KiwiKat · 14/11/2009 17:40

Stac, Fairy, I know what you mean about feeling odd about other peoples' pregnancies. We all feel a little weird about these things at times, then feel weird about feeling weird, but 'tis only natural. Thislittle, I too secretly fancy Alexander Armstrong [whispering emoticon]. Loving the story about the keys. Serves him right! Clure, 10 kms in the rain? OMG - you and Peju are just so focussed, you both really put me to shame.

CD15 today, so we have been bding every second day for the last week, which keeps dh happy. Might keep it up every second or third day [tired, can't really be bothered emoticon] just to see if anything happens at all. This is our last clomid round before going onto IVF, which I'm super-reluctant to do, but guess we don't really have much choice, at my advanced age (43) ...

Please send prayers, baby dust, crossed fingers and rabbits' feet etc my way!

Clure · 14/11/2009 18:17

kiwi hi can I be nosey and ask are you having to pay for ivf and are you able to use your own eggs? x

stac14 · 14/11/2009 19:54

hey ladies
quick up date it was a false alarm for my friend her af came last night she is so releived doesnt want a baby at the moment which if I am honest her whole family were glad about due to her dp. Also for me today af has appeared again and I am loaded with the flu think a docs app is on the cards, typical. Whats the plans for the weekend? Think I will go to the boot sale tomorrow for a nose about.

kiwi know what you mean about bding, it gets monotonous sometimes doesnt it?

Thanks to you all for your support with my outburst yesterday I am very grateful for you all being there for me when I need you, your all wee stars!!!

Fairygodmother1 · 14/11/2009 21:00

Hi Kiwi - I've got my app in Jan. I still have 3 rounds of tablets but unless af comes thats lessening our chances of having a clomid baby rather than an assisted one if you get what I mean!

stac thats what we're here for - we know how you feel!!!

I just vegged today - lost only 1lb this week but here have a lol!!!

Hopefully check in a little more often this week. have a great Sunday!

Hope all are well. Clure i am glad someone agrees with me about mr armstrong and miller (isnt it though- thats a quote from their sketch show btw) hope everyone else is ok enjoy sunday before monday rears its ugly head x

KiwiKat · 15/11/2009 16:56

Clure, we're paying for the IVF ourselves, and we're using my eggs. Not looking forward to the whole thing, am quite scared.

Clure · 15/11/2009 17:52

Its a huge thing to take on board kiwi, we are facing this possibility, I don't know if I can do it, especially given the strong possibility that my eggs can't be used. When do you start? x

KiwiKat · 15/11/2009 18:06

We're cd16 today, so I start taking the drugs the day AF arrives, usually cd29 or 30. Ulp. DH thinks we're rushing into it, but we've been ttc for about 2 1/2 years now - ds is 3 1/2, and I'm 43, 44 in January, so time is one luxury we don't have. Fairy, you think you'll go down this path as well?

Fairygodmother1 · 17/11/2009 21:50

Kiwi,

Not sure I think it's IUI first but not sure - won't be anything if I don't lose at least a stone by Jan! So unfair! If everything worked properly I could be 18 stone & get preg - instead I'm a size 16 14st who's bit's don't work properly & end up having to lose weight & have people pull & poke me around!
Arrrggghhhh!!!

Thats my rant!

In a way I do have age on my side as I've just turned 29!

We'll just have to see.

Hi to everyone else!

CD 56 here!

stac14 · 17/11/2009 22:59

Hey fairy We are the exact same hun, except I just turned 30, one of dps friends mrs is about 20st and fell preggers naturally but I need to fight to fall preggers and lose weight nightmare. Are you going to take provera to bring on af?

Hows everyone else? All good I hope, having a weird month have had lots of spotting but not a full af, do you think I should call the doc to see what to do? xxx

jobobpip08 · 18/11/2009 22:30

Hi stac well done! Every bit counts! Re your earlier comment - my sil was around 25 stone and has 4 kids. She used to wait for every family get together to say to me 'joanne... babies?' in a really loud voice so everyone heard. Cringe. Didn't think it was a competition! You know the difference between in-laws and outlaws? Outlaws are wanted....

We've actually had sun today so I will try and send some your way!

I've got my follicle scan booked for monday and hoping that we'll be allowed to try this month.

take care all xxx

thislittlesisterlola · 19/11/2009 08:38

Fairygodmother1 · 19/11/2009 21:13

Stac you go girl! We'll keep fighting together!

Af finally came last night - quite releaved actually as I knew I wasn't preg & just want to get on with the next course! I'm totally happy for an Aug baby! lol! fingers crossed & all that!

Sorry for rant the other day! One of my best friends is a big girl & yes it took her a long time to fall with the first but she fell preg a month after giving birth with her 2nd! Told her she was supposed to wait her turn lol!

Clur we really need to be having the chats that others are having in the staffroom cos it's driving me mad & we can have our own little club haha!!!!

baby dust to all

Clure · 19/11/2009 22:34

Hi all

stac - well done on weight loss, everything counts.

hi thislittlesisterlola, jo, kiwi hope you all had a good day and looking forward to weekend

Fairy, thats positive you got af and can now look forward again. know what you mean about staff room, its unavoidable but I'm doing my best to zone out and smile politely. A few of the KS1 girls know my situation and are so supportive - Think we need this support don;t we?

I've emailed consultant to find out day 21 progesterone results. No Af here, not sure if I'm ov late in cycle or its just passed me by!
My DD is poorly and had her first day off school on Monday. She threw up sunday night, had a dreadful cold and has now got "folliculitis" poor love is on antibiotics and the medicine is vile. The threat of father christmas is always a good one in these situations!!

peju25 · 20/11/2009 10:33

Hi all
Well done stac keep it up!!
Im still waiting for my appointment date but been told i will know when it is by next friday.
Going away for the weekend for a big family party - cant wait we havent all been together in about 5 years!! and i get to see my mum who moved abroad a year ago but is back for party and staying for christmas, she is really supportive of everything so will be great to see her.
clure - hope all goes ok with your reults.
know what you mean about the work thing there are so many preggers in my office now i decided to tell a few what im going thru and it has actually helped a bit.
have a great weekend all of you.
i can feel a BFP coming on this forum soon!
keep positive and baby dust by the bucket load

stac14 · 20/11/2009 16:21

Hi ladies
How are you all? Spoke to the doc last night about the spotting and pains at my ovaries, he said it could be my cysts or maybe a urine infection so he asked me to take a urine sample to the nurse today. She checked it and its normal but as she has been dealing with me throughout the ttc she asked if I could be pg I said I doubted it so she tested just in case and would you believe it was bfp!!! I so cant believe it after 20 months of trying I am pregnant. If I go by my last period I am about 9 weeks but who knows as I did have a few bfns last month. I have the docs on Monday and have bought a clear blue digital to show dp when he comes home, only me, him and my aunt knows and now all of you.
Just want to thank you all so much for your support over the past months, I hope its still ok to come on and see how your all getting on
I am proof it really can happen for us baby dust to us all ***
