Still no AF here. Have had stomach ache all morning though, doesn't feel period painy anymore, feels more like a stitch ache if that makes sense. Feel sick as a dog, couldn't stomach much breakfast - not sure if it's a bug now. Friend has a test, I will be seeing her later - will let you know how it goes.

WorrisomeHeart · 05/05/2009 11:41

Oh MM - it sounds promising! We're all crossing our fingers!

hi everyone, I'm just jumping off the January bus, can I join you please?

MissieK TTC#1 Cycle 3 UCL 28 CD1

Will be back on Clomid this month too! Non prescription - crazy I know - but I've taken it before about 6 years ago and was not monitored then so thought what the hell... i'll try anything. Had no side effects the month before last and ovulated because I tested. I didnt this month so think its time to kick my some ass (or should I say ovaries)!
Hope we have lots of BFPs and will be keeping my fingers crossed for you all xxx

melancholymum · 05/05/2009 17:04

Poundland test = negative.

Will test again in a few days if still no AF and still getting pains. Half wondering if it could be an infection now though - what do you reckon? Is it worth booking to see the doc or should I ride it out a few more days?

timmette · 05/05/2009 17:08

Melancholymum did you use emu?
I don't know that an infection would delay af. I would book to see the doctor anyway - if AF turns up you can cancel.

melancholymum · 05/05/2009 17:18

It's called REVEAL, it's one of those little sticks that you actually dip into a pot of urine.

timmette · 05/05/2009 17:31

No I meant early morning urine - first pee of the day as it has the strongest concentration of hormones.

melancholymum · 05/05/2009 17:37

LOL! Can't get used to all this jargon

No, I only tested an hour or so ago. I'm daft aren't? I should have used a reliable test and used EMU

timmette · 05/05/2009 17:41

I only learnt all these things on here too was a novice despite having one ds already - lol.
Don't give up hope.

How is everyone today??

M-Mum Why do our bodies have a way of confusing us? my cycle was 36 days last month and i was expecting it to be 30 at the most...

melancholymum · 06/05/2009 09:42

Just been to toilet - very slight brown tinged discharge, nothing when I wipe though. No doubt this is the start of AF

Cosmosis · 06/05/2009 10:08

Hello ladies, please can I have a seat on this bus? We're TTC #1. It took me about 120 days to get a period after coming off the pill, which was frustrating to say the least!

I've added myself on to the list.

Morning cosmosis, have a seat and catch your breath!
My DH was running for the train the other day (small train in small station in small town) and the driver saw him, smiled and waved, waited for him to cross to the platform...and pulled out of the station.
DH was very .

OP posts:
difficultdecision · 06/05/2009 11:33

M-mum, hope it isn't AF for you [fingers cross emoticon - could it be implantation bleeding?]. It's so frustrating when cycle lengths do this isn't it! Hope you feel better either soon either way.

Welcome cosmosis!

i'm feeling a bit of a fraud on this thread now - 99% sure this won't be our month as DS has been ill and it's thrown our BD plans out of the window a bit!) but i'll hang around for a practice cycle if noone minds....

Cosmosis · 06/05/2009 11:39

Ooh bettymum that was very cruel! Thank goodness our driver didn't do the same to me

difficultdecision I am not confident this month either, I think because as it's only my 2nd cycle since coming off the pill in December, I don't know what it will be like for length etc. I have just ordered the thermometer and charting book from boots so hopefully that will help me keep track a bit.

melancholymum · 06/05/2009 12:22

I don't think it could be implantation bleeding as the last time I BD was about the 18th so if I was pg then I would have surely implanted ages ago right? I haven't had anymore discharge and no blood yet so watch this space.

Can't believe that traindriver - what an arse!!

Bettymum · 06/05/2009 12:27

Cosmosis I have the thermometer and book from Boots, it really does help me see what's going on. I can see now that it took about 4 or 5 months for me to actually start OVing after cutting down BF, even though I was having periods. I didn't really know that you could have periods but not be OVing . I keep mine right by the side of the bed and just stick the thermometer in my mouth as soon as I wake up, it doesn't take long to do.
