Found out yesterday that my Gran is terminally ill. So been crying off an on since yesterday - I'm trying not to get too stressed as I don't want another mc but can't stop crying - not gone to work today as tryign to get my head round it.

Liskey, so sorry to hear the news about your Gran. Does she live near you? If so perhaps you could visit her more often or send her little cards in the post so that she knows you are thinking of her.

I did that for my Gran and then at the very end I stayed with her until she passed away. It was very sad and painful but she was glad of the company and I know it made it easier for her knowing she was not going through everything alone.

She lives 200 miles away so its not very easy. I visited her Saturday and Sunday and told her my news - and she's over the moon about it - I reasoned even if i did miscarry again I wanted to tell her now while I was pregnant. She has got lots of peopel visiting so I know she's not lonely and she's accepted it - its just her family who don't want it.

Hello joycey glad it went well at the scan , my spelling is getting worse, I type too quick for my brain thats the problem .

I am still not counting, however think my body is about to tell me where I am in my cycle anyway!

Lemon im sorry AF arrived and im sorry to you all for not having been around.

Its been almost 6 weeks (this friday) since my miscarriage so i've not tested or even thought about it, taking time away from here gave me head space to just get on with things and like Nunnie ive not thought about cd, or AF or anything pregnancy related!

So here we go, no sign of AF yet, peeing lots, major mood swings more than before if anything! and sore boobs. All could be AF related but im definately not testing till it has been over 6 weeks, so the earliest beginning of next week.

Keep reminding myself the EPU said it would be 4-6 weeks till AF arrived and im right in the middle....... Lets wait and see!

Well hello iaatcey, hope you are OK, glad you have taken some time out and had some you time to get over your loss.
I think you are doing the right thing leaving the testing till next week.

thanks Nunnie i really am fine now although my family cant seem to say miscarriage, like its a bad word to say so its own to me to break the ice if it gets mentioned! Promise myself not to tell anyone in the family when i get pregnant til 12 weeks anyway! To much hastle when no one believed me when i said something was not right.

hello ladies, hope you don't mind me butting in I have just done 2 digital tests this morning (one didn't work and the other a BFN) am on CD32 and usually a 30 day cycle. Have been taking clomid for last 5 months so only have one round left if AF does turn up. feeling really down, haven't even told DP that I tested, he too said there was no point coz it will be negative - soooooo supportive aren't they with their positive thinking etc . anyways, baby dust to you all. xx

hmm messed up along the way! Just looked on calender and its only been 32 days since miscarriage so 5 weeks this Friday looks like i'll have to wait almost 2 weeks now to test grr wish id never looked now!

Hi iaatcey - pleased to see you again. After my mc at 9 weeks AF returned after about 30 days so it might not be too long?

Hello Lucy as well - I think your DP needs a lesson in being supportive and kind to you!

I've just come back from the GP's - who's confirmed it and then said he wants me to have bloods as well - to check everything in case i were to have another mc - me panic now never! He's also prescribed folic acid as well - cue comment from em yes I am already taking that. (Only for the last 2 years really).

I am now on CD33 on 5th round of clomid, won't be testing again until Thursday, unless AF beats me to it.

I am nw CD5 . This will sound utterly stupid probably...CL is 30 days so if 15th was whn period strted last mnth and ths mnth does tht mean I am due on 15th June????? Cos tht would mean more than 30 days..
