Hi all,

AF arrived on Sunday so now if we are successful this cycle and it's as long as this last one baby would be due early December 2009. Anyone else?

Hobnob, I am totally useless at pg, i suffer sickness from the moment the line appears till about 5 mths, strikes any time of the day or night, completely debilatating.

For last 3 pg's i 've had OC and polyhydramnious so needed to be watched carefully.

Pg is a means to an end for me, Have had to promise dh i will not be miserable this time, Will just have to moan on here instead

Rtuff · 10/03/2009 09:07

Mine seems to be out by a couple of days so updated... Not sure about everyone's though....

Also, thanks Georgimama, it's always nice to know what they're testing for, although i should have probably asked at the time!!

I've adjusted everyone by one day (except Rtuff) and put more or less in order.

MrsJoeMcIntyre · 10/03/2009 11:39

Right, so, the best time to BD is when your EWCM is like stretchy egg white - non?

In the simplest terms, natch.

Hobnobfanatic · 10/03/2009 12:52

I'm still a day out - have adjusted below...
MrsJoe - I think you're right about the EWCM - it's hte most fertile type of CM. Get to it!
Liahgen - I'm in even more admiration now I know you're not one of the 'blossoms in pregnancy' types. What a sacrifice we all do for our kids - to willingly put ourselves through the sickness, illhealth and exhaustion for 9 months - and beyond! But they're worth it!

I am just going between feeling 3 is incomplete and wanting the fourth to complete the family to oh my god what are we doing???! Anyone else feel like this. Well my period finished yesterday so waiting for signs of ovulation. have a stupid sore throat so hope will have the energy to BD. I really want a December baby.

alfiesmadmother · 10/03/2009 13:30

And I would be happy with twins but not likely!!

georgimama · 10/03/2009 14:25

A friend of my SIL's is pregnant with twins, she has just had a 12 week scan and been told they were conceived one week apart! So don't overdo the shagging ladies or that could beone of us!

wasabipeanut · 10/03/2009 15:12

I would so love twins. DH is a little unsure of the benefits of 3 children and wants to stop at 2 (assuming we ever actually manage to conceieve the keep the 2nd).

Twins would settle that debate fairly unequivocally although probably ruin us financially. Hey ho.

How were your SIL's concieved a week apart Georimama? Did she ovulate twice? I didn't even know this was possible!I though if you releases multiple eggs they were released at the same time?

Am CD14 today - still no positive OPK or temp changes. If this follows the pattern my pre mc cycles followed then I should get a positive tomorrow or Thursday. But then, I have no idea what pattern we are on now.

georgimama · 10/03/2009 15:23

Her friend, not SIL.

Yes, apparently she released two eggs a few days apart - this is apparently more common if you are over 35 (she is). The sonographer said she could tell from state of placenta and cords that they were conceived about a week apart. Freaky - I would have thought like you, that if 2 eggs were released it would be at same time. Perhaps it was one from each ovary?

wasabipeanut · 10/03/2009 15:50

Yeah I had heard that multiples are more common in over 35's as I now am - mother natures way of giving you a helping hand perhaps?

Tillyscoutsmum · 10/03/2009 16:20

Hi all

Well - bad news is that AF has arrived

Good news is that if we conceive this cycle, it would still be a December baby so I can stick around with you ladies for a while When I checked the due date calculator to make sure it would still be a december baby, it actually came out with my birthday as a due date. Hoping that will be fate

Have updated myself and put me right to the bottom of the list

Here we go again !

yumyum73 · 10/03/2009 17:57

Hi, I have been reading about Luteal Phase and mine is approx 10 days... is that bad? Is it worth taking Evening Primrose Oil supplements up to ovualtion as i've also read that can increase the LP? DH keeps telling me off saying "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing" he may be right as now i have yet another thing to stress about! Has anyone else looked into this?

tillyscoutsmum was sorry to hear you came on... fingers crossed for you and everybody else for a March conception xxx

guineamango · 10/03/2009 18:05

Hey tillyscout sorry to hear AF caught up with you. Hope your treating yourself tonight!
Yumyum no info on Evening primrose, apart from I was going to take but it says not to if trying or pregnant?? Check with pharmacist I guess?

I have finally had a positive opk! hoorah never used then before. It looked positive yesterday but there is definitely an even stronger line today!
Any one else had this or any experience of them, this is my first month of trying with them??

SmallShips · 10/03/2009 18:18

Well i've come on.

Sorry to hear you have too TSM!

Ah Smallships Bugger !

Onwards and upwards. DH is quite pleased I think - its the most action he's had for ages

cyphercat · 10/03/2009 19:18

anyone ovulate about day 20 or 21? I think that's quite late but if I have calculated myself right, I ovulate around that time..

gingerwine · 10/03/2009 20:07

Sorry Tillyscoutsmum and smallships. Fingers crossed for next cycle for both of you.
News here is OPK tested positive ( so perhaps I was being a bit silly worrying about menopause!!). Lots of bding for us for the next few days!!My DH also can't believe his luck!!
cyphercat day 20 or 21 is later than average but normal for some. Are you using OPK's. I have only started using them this month and it does at least give you an idea of when you are ovulating and therefore when to expect AF. (Also just gives you something else to obsess about!!)

willowthewispa · 10/03/2009 20:45

Well, after seeing the doctor last week and her suggesting I might have an ovarian cyst, I went for an ultrasound today (an internal one! ) and have been told my ovaries and womb look fine and normal. I'm still hoping for a December baby then!

Tillyscoutsmum · 10/03/2009 21:33

That's good news then Willow

willowthewispa · 10/03/2009 21:34
