Hi all,

AF arrived on Sunday so now if we are successful this cycle and it's as long as this last one baby would be due early December 2009. Anyone else?

Sorry to hear of the AF visits, everyone.

It must have been hell after a fortnight, Zen. Glad your spirits are up and you're looking forward to a NYE BabyZen!

Good luck to Alfie and Damnit - lots of promising signs.

Managed to watch The Great Sperm Race over the weekend. Very amusing. Those poor little beggars have to go through so much! No wonder I'm still not up the duff - apparently my fanjo is five miles wide (from a sperm's pov!) and it's very easy for them to get lost!

Hi can I join in? Am on CD 26 UCL 28 and I am awash with symptoms, and want to know for sure. I am so impatient!! This will be number 3 if I am right. So far I feel sick all day, have dull aches below, sore boobs, and feel really spaced out . I think I will try a test tomorrow ... Good luck to everyone else xx

SO MAD!! THE ebay tests have still not arrived! This is torture, no rush I guess, Af still not arrived, feeling nausea on and off and tired (no change there!!) . Will have to wait til tomorrow now to see if AF or tests turn up! Sorry to everybody else. Amanda x

Hobnobfanatic · 31/03/2009 18:04

Alfie you must be going mad! YOu have more patience than me - I'd have been down the chemist's a week ago!

alfiesmadmother · 31/03/2009 19:48

He he yes am going mad, sort of setting myself for dsappointment and waiting for AF to arrive, and I have paid for the tests so don't want to waste them. Also I do not want to be seen at local chemist as only told close friends TTC, grrrrrrrrrrrrr. !!!!! They were £1.99 for ten, guess you get what you pay for!

gingermumi · 01/04/2009 12:38

Update for me - was due mon but no AF as yet. Have done several tests but all BFN, not sure what tot hink will just wait and see.

alfiesmadmother · 01/04/2009 12:43

well the test still not arrived and neither has AF yet. so walked 2 miles and back to buy a test only to be told 'not pregnant' by a clear blue digital had really got my hopes up too

alfiesmadmother · 01/04/2009 12:44

despit throwing up after my coffee today too and really believing i was pregnant

Hobnobfanatic · 01/04/2009 13:00

Alfie - that's so odd, to be late and have all the symptoms. But you're only a day late, aren't you? Perhaps it's still too soon for the hormones to show on a test? Sounds like more of a waiting game.

Ditto ginger! Perhaps we all need to be more patient and resist the temptation to test?

I'm on BDing week. Bad timing, as my LO is poorly and I'm exhausted!

alfiesmadmother · 01/04/2009 13:10

That's what I am dreading Hobnob, feel more gutted that I will have to have so much sex again , as much as I love my husband sometimes I don't really want to!!! I guess if nothing by Friday will test again as going out Friday night and need to know if I can have a drink!!! But can't believe I wasted 11 quid, duh!!!!! Good luch to everyone and gingermumi x

fatandiknowit · 01/04/2009 16:05

I kept getting negatives with clearblue, then I bought some super senstive ones off ebay and got my BFP. So maybe that will be the answer alfies ?

I drink a lot though - so probably diluted any hormones to a very small level, hence my no success with clearblue and predictor tests early on...

Hope you are all OK!

tinateaspoon · 01/04/2009 17:42

Well I just tested with Clearblue and got BFN . Really weird as I feel so odd, boobs have never felt so sore and two other symptoms include crying when Terry Wogan played "All I need is the air that I Breathe" by the Hollies and retching in the dairy isle in Tesco.

It might be a bit early so will wait til Sat if no AF by then. I tell you this could seriously do your head in, as I know you all know .

damnitdamnit · 01/04/2009 19:45

well still no AF for me but had no symptoms for a couple of days. will test on friday though if still no sign.

dancingqueeen · 01/04/2009 20:06

i've been trying hard not to go on mumsnet too much this month, trying to take my mind of ttc as was getting so obsessed... not been totally successful but still.

glad to see there's been a few BFPs already :-)

also glad (in a strange way) to see i'm not the only one obsessing over symptoms. on day 28 of a 32-39 day cycle, and boobs are killing me, not just twinging a bit, actually really annoying me! trying hard not to get optimistic (but failing miserably!). going to take a lot of will power for me not to test, but i'm determined not to do my usual and use loads of tests just for AF to arrive and make me feel foolish...

Blocka · 01/04/2009 21:04

tinateaspoon your message about the Terry Wogan songs really made me laugh! I think that is a better test of your pg than any £11 clearblue stick!

And alfiesmadmother, I know exactly how you feel. I thought I would be ov today so I promised DP a shag tonight (obviously didn't tel him my motivation, just made out I was horny...), but no smiley face on my stick and I can't help thinking 'what a waste of a shag!' hahahaha

Luckily he knows that I am testing. Well either that or he thinks I have an obsession with peeing into cups every morning?

tinateaspoon · 02/04/2009 09:37

Hi Blocka, have avoided el Tel this morning so I don't look like a fool. But could be a cheaper way to test for sure. I will wait til Sat, or maybe Fri, no definitely Sat before doing the next test. Hope you get your smiley face soon. No shag is a waste in my book !

Good luck with being patient DQ, can you share some with me please.

damnitdamnit - really hope you can fend off AF.

Right I am off to not think about anything baby related til Saturday

Bettymum · 02/04/2009 10:37

Feeling really really queasy this morning but feel like it is impending AF rather than early symptoms.
And I listened to Terry for a whole hour drivng in to work this morning

skihorse · 02/04/2009 10:44

I don't want to get anyone's backs up - but I'm seriously shocked by how many people see having sex with their partner, and father of their children(!), as a chore.

I'm trying not to symptom spot this month but I've had some dizziness like I had last month with a suspected CP. I have an early-response and will probably crack by sunday.

gingermumi · 02/04/2009 11:07

Still no AF and don't have any tests left, will wait until tomorro (that will be 4 days late) and test again.

Hobnobfanatic · 02/04/2009 12:35

It's not a chore, Skihorse but when you've been trying for months, like me, to get pg, then you have to really go for it in your most fertile week, even if, one night, you'd prefer an early night.

Good luck with the testing...

alfiesmadmother · 02/04/2009 13:09

still say it is a chore- I have 3 children and a job and have been with my partner 15 years, sometimes I just don't feel I want to do it and if it is my fertility windoq i have to make myself!!

Well still no AF and still no ebay tests!!!! raaaagh!!! My stomach feels on fire today (is this AF or pg hormones) . Every time I go to the toilet I expect AF, will try another test tomorrow if still no AF but wish I had my ten pack!!!
