u know i've just realised if I do catch next month when he comes home, i'll be testing on our anniversary. lets hope it's a nice pressie this year for him.

I'm having a big dilemma. Today my Persona had a big O and I'm not sure what to do. Have one dd and have been TTC for 10 months now (had v early m/c in January!). Know I should be jumping on dh as soon as dd is asleep to take full advantage of the big O but the problem is that we are just about to move house and I am due to start a new job in 3 weeks. I don't think I could cope with being pregnant as well - have felt crap from day 1 when pregnant! Would be totally silly to get pregnant now or do I just say Sod it and give it a go and see what happens - deal with any flak later! Ahhhhhh!!!

As I am in a similar position, I would say Sod it aand see what happens! But it you really don't want to be pregnant this month - have a month off, be a bit more relaxed about it all.

I start my new job on Tuesday, and move house two weeks tomorrow!

Tested, BFN, and then AF came anyway. So not this time. And not trying this month because of Christmas. So back on the long wait. Thinking of you all.

I'm back!! Had a busy few days but I'm here again. So much to catch up on. I went to the docs on Tuesday as I was on CD48 and getting worried. Two BFN and no symptoms of pg so was concerned about what was going on with my body. I'm going for blood tests to see if I ov.

I'm now CD2!!! Yay!!! I must be the only one who was actually delighted to see Af!! She came yesterday but wasn't much blood but today lots of fresh, red blood (sorry TMI!). I am so relieved that Af finally here. I can now go for blood tests in a couple of weeks and see what's going on with my ov. Also got my persona monitor today so will start to use that this month too!! I'm rather chipper right now!! Hope everyone else is fine.

good to hear u more positive pop, and hopefully the test results will come back in ur favour as well. sorry but also happy for u that AF came along.

Nikki - well up to u hon, but it always happens when u least expect it apparently so good luck it will probably happen, new house and all! (last time I said that JM actually found out she was PG about a week b4 they moved)

hi all munz ahh 2 weeks will pass quickly.lol -BOB.Im going to see the nurse on tues with my mum only had one clot only bled 4 times sat sun then went off again a bit like turning tap off.Not getting my hopes up dont think im pregnant now think ive got a hormone imbalance or something

my story, i am waiting for af to turn up tomorro and i am back onto a 28/29 days cycle as i was before having dd.
are you tracking your ov cycles at all? any BBT or OPK?
i decided if i am not pg this month, i will use a opk next month on top of tracking temp.and if that doesnt work then i dont know ladies....... i have an appt next wed to discuss my blood result re: ov and although they are ok why dont i get pg i will ask him

fresco hope it doesnt come and u have a bfp.Use calista saliva ovulation kit,but havent for past couple of mths dh and i decided to just relax and enjoy ourselves im very concerned with whats going on with me dont feel myself at all feel v tired even after doing a bit of housework boobs keep springing still feeling sick smells make me gag.But i was 7 days late came on on sat lost blood but not as heavy as normal lost a small clot (tiny) then by mon nothing just like turning a tap on and off done 3 tests last one was last sat bfn???

i would go to doc Debbs.its funny cos even midwife mentioneed kit called 'maybe baby' sold in Ireland (well she is irish) and its detecting your ov with saliva.how can saliva detect ov?

your saliva ferns and crystallises when u ovulate and u see evidence of this a few days b4.

so what would u trust more an opk or a saliva kit detector?or do they just work differently?

no its just you can tell ovulation by saliva and ur wee you just lick the lens in the morning when you get up and let the lens dry then you click it into a cylinder type microscope and if the crystals are starting to form into ferns ur ovulating it is good but not worked for me yet so i may try personna as everyone hear raves about it.Calista costs about 20 quid which is a fraction of he cost of personna.Uhave to have v v good eyesight though or where contact lenses like me when i have my glasses on i cant see it at all.

when i did it in december it showed i ovulated 7 days after my period then day 14 of cycle so it is v accurate.

cani buy it in Boots? idont know if its a good idea as i am v v v shortsighted.

fresco - I am on CD28; OVd around CD18/19 I think (according to OPK) and AF due tomorrow or Monday. Have had a bit of light cramping this morniing, but so far nothing else to suggest one way or the other.
