Bubble - hiya and welcome, well hester's just got PG at 41 (I think she is) has been TTC for 5 yrs granted, (on and off) has had to use a doner thou, so there's always hope, and on this thread u'll find if one is a bit down and giving up hope the other girls (((hugs to you all))) resore the hope and faith again. so never give up on trying.

fresco · 21/03/2005 08:56

New day and new hopes.hi there Bubble and welcome.
i draw my hat to you.3 children and did you b/fthem all?
how old is your ds? are they all 3 boys?

CD23.af may show up on sat as planned but....!!there is always hope...

munnzieb · 21/03/2005 08:59

sorry about af fresco ((hugs)) this next cycle will be urs i'm sure, lord know's u've waited long enough!

CD9 here, feeling v wet ahem below. think CM is chnaging is def a lot thinner, asked jeds about the CM thing and she say's not to worry as u can get PG without it, and it doesn't need to be dripping so that's a relief.

Hulababy · 21/03/2005 08:59

Still feel really nauseous and groggy - can't believe I drank enough to make me feel ill for a second day. Have my grandparents to visit (at my parents) today too - they live in Scotland and only visit 2-3 times a year. Hope I feel better! Oh, and finally have our buyer's surveyor coming round at 11 - at last!

Bubble - welcome to the TTC thread. There are a fair few older mums concieving on MN.

CD23 for me, so still on waiting game. AF will be due maybe Sunday or Monday.

expatinscotland · 21/03/2005 09:11

I did that last Wednesday, Hula. My age is showing itself. It was also caused by too much wine. YUK! Baby dust to you.

Hulababy · 21/03/2005 09:31

I think with that amount of alcohol I may have halted all chances of concieving this month! Oh we,, best get resigned to the idea that I am now old!!! Just had some toast and feeling a bit better, so may try a cup of tea now too.

katierocket · 21/03/2005 09:38

hello, hello
acupuncture today. Expat did have you decided if you're going to start going again?
At least it's getting fairly spring like now, makes me feel generally more positive

Apparently in Chinese medicine spring is the best time to conceive.

fresco · 21/03/2005 09:42

no no munn.thank god no af yet.its due on sat.so i am still hoping!!

Diege · 21/03/2005 09:44

HI everyone,
Still 'hovering' as don't feel quite ready to leave yet!
Munnzieb: re: CM, I had virtually none when I conceived, but found that drinking lots of water (at least 8 glasses a day) really helped. Cough nixture is also supposed to be successful. BTW, have some disgusting sounding 'pre-seed' lubricant that I bought because of my CM probklem. It's sperm friendly, and is supposed to help with the journey IYKWIM. Was going to put it in with the persona, Expat, but thought it was a bit presumtious (me not knowing much about your CM!!)
HI Debbsy: I had exactly the same with clotting month before last. Apparently it's really common with a long cycle (even if they are usually shorter). Mine was 35 days, and clots were like pieces of liver! (TMI)Negative prenancy test, but conceived next month, so may be like having a good clean out (when women have D & C they are more fertile for month or two after apparently!)Fingers crossed!

Diege · 21/03/2005 09:46

Sorry, meant to add that I'll send the 'pre-seed' stuff to anyone who wants it (and throw in a free pregnancy test!). Any takers? Don't be embarrassed now! (package never even opened just in case you were wondering!)

Hulababy · 21/03/2005 09:46

WHat is it???????????

expatinscotland · 21/03/2005 09:56

Katie,
I made an appointment, then checked my bank balance. I'm afraid it's gonna have to wait . I did phone GP today and she said to give it six full months after coming off the Pill. I loved my Pill, but it was a MAJOR androgen-blocker b/c progesterone gives me bad skin; so it's likely that it's still affecting me. If I go 8 months w/no O, however, she'll refer me early b/c of my age. By that time (June), our bank balance should have recovered sufficiently to afford accupuntcure again.

Diege, LOL! Pre-seed. I wonder how that would go down w/Scots hubby. So far, so good w/Persona!

fresco · 21/03/2005 09:57

we use KY gel because i am too dry inside and recently have ordered sperm friendly ointment (it gives a warm sensation when u drop it between ur legs hehe) its quite sensual actually. must say that i am ready to try a bit of everything as my drive drives me sometimes mad!! also dp bought some lubricant which is good for a quickie.must be giving tmi, but who cares??

fresco · 21/03/2005 09:58

what is a preseed gel?

katierocket · 21/03/2005 10:03

I'll take it Deige (if no-one else wants it)
I have no shame

Diege · 21/03/2005 10:13

katierocket - it's yours!!! The only thing that put me off (now I tell you!) is that you have to insert it (think it comes in tampon-like applicators) but it comes highly rated (from the manufacturors)and is sure to bring hours of pleasure! Do you want the pregnancy test too?

katierocket · 21/03/2005 10:16

eeeooowwww....
ah well, after 10 months I'll try anything! Yes please to the pregnancy test. Do you want me to cat you with my address? Do you want some money?

Diege · 21/03/2005 10:25

If you can cat me with your address, I'll put it in the post tommorrow (hope it doesn't leak!!). No, of course I don't want any money! I'm just pleased that you can take it off my hands Will put pregnancy test in too (the wrapper has been ripped open, but then never used it. Also have one digital test left, with holder, which will include.

katierocket · 21/03/2005 10:54

Diege - have sent you a CAT. can you sprinkle some baby dust on the parcel too please?!

fresco · 21/03/2005 11:23

anybody uses toys?

fresco · 21/03/2005 11:25

KR any more development re: your concerns about ur ov?

is there anyone else out there ttc while b/f?

Diege · 21/03/2005 13:27

katierocket - no e-mail yet from mumsnet. Will check again later this afternoon, but am then away from work until a week on Thursday, so no internet till then! You will have to wait till then I'm afraid! (btw, one book says that egg white is a good substitute for ECM - you warm at room temperature, and then 'apply' (have actually tried this one, but it dries so quickly you get through a lot of eggs

jeddah · 21/03/2005 14:51
