Hello,

As Nelix has a bfp (yay!) and she started the last one I thought I'd start this one as a continuation of this thread

Here's hoping we all get BFPs this month but if not then let's continue the thread until we all graduate

BoosieBoo, congratulations, what fantastic news!! A line is a line!

Cindy, how are you doing? Hope you're feeling a bit better...

Jools, hello again ((waves)), just give yourself time - it's so great that your body is getting back to normal again now and you'll soon be on course for another BFP!

On cd9 now and have started the DP - just hope we can stick with it! Dh is very keen so that's a help.

queenie1 · 28/11/2008 12:19

Just a quick post - hello all.

HUGE congratulations Boosieboo!!!

Smileycat - keeping my fingers crossed for you. I too am due early next week. The waiting is agony isn't it!!!

Jools - my heart goes out to you. Lots of love.

xxx

BoosieBoo · 28/11/2008 12:36

Aww, thanks for all the lovely messages everyone. To be honest it still doesn't feel real. I think it might sink in a bit more on sunday or sometime next week, when my period is oficially late. Just have to hope and pray it's a sticky bean. DH has been very sweet since I told him last night.

We're going up to my brother's this weekend for my niece's 1st birthday, so that should keep me busy till I do another test. Won't be able to check messages till monday, so good luck to anyone testing this weekend and hopefully there'll be lots more great news next week x

wasabipeanut · 28/11/2008 15:23

Smiley thats just plain spooky. We all hope your sign was right! Not long to wait now to find out.

Welcome Iggylou - you will like it here I promise.

Villagemum - looks like me and thee are going to have a fun weekend

Jools - I think most people would be surprised if seeing pregnant women didn't make you feel sad at the moment. You need to give yourself time to recover emotionally as well as physically. Feeling sad is ok.

A friend of mine who I originally met at NCT told me on Monday she was 6 weeks pg. I was genuinely really happy for her but I did shed a few tears on dh's shoulder that night. It's a very confusing set of emotions - being happy for someone but a bit jealous at the same time.

On the bright side she was kind enough to give me her ov sticks so at least I've saved a few quid.

iggylou · 28/11/2008 15:29

Thanks wasabipeanut

Am already quite addicted to reading the threads!

Elliegant · 28/11/2008 15:40

congratulations boosie

sans sorry your joining us at the bottom, lets hope better news for christmas.

welcome iggylou you will love it here.

jools and Wasabi, I know exactly where your coming from, my niece is pregnant after only ttc for a very short time and although I am genuinely happy and thrilled for her I can't help feeling a little sad as well.

smileycat · 28/11/2008 16:19

Igglou CD is the days you count from the first day of your period, it then goes into DPO which are the days past Ovulation when you are in your 2WW 2 week wait (waiting for AF, period or a BFP, Big Fat Positive pregnancy test)
If you go to a sight called Fertility Friends it gives you loads of really great info & you can join for free. It will give you a month of VIP membership for free then you either stick with the basic membership or pay them to continue with the VIP bit. Its great for recording your fertility signs & gives you your CD & DPO. If you do your temp or use OPK (ovulation sticks) it will also tell you when you have OV'd
Any problems just ask as many of us on here us it

Pezzina · 28/11/2008 16:26

Wow! Its been busy on here again today.

Firstly ? congratulations Boosie! That is great news. You should get a stronger line on Sunday which will make it all the more real .

Smiley ? I have high hopes for you too. Fingers crossed your temps stay high, sweetie!

Hi again, Wasabi ? sorry you?ve had bad headache ? definitely not helpful towards BDing! Hope all goes well tonight

Welcome to iggylou ? you will love it on here ? such great advice and support from everyone.

Jools ? big hugs to you ? don?t know what else to say really ? it must be really hard when the emotion hits you unexpectedly. I just hope you have lots of lovely people in your life to support you. You will get through this xx

Sans04 ? sorry to hear that AF got you too. She?s been busy this month ? damn her!

VillageMum ? looks like you?ve got to the fun bit ? hope you have a good weekend.

I?ve had a naff week. My temps are all over the place and the day after my reflexology session I had the heaviest period I have ever had my whole life (sorry if TMI). I was shocked when I went to the loo ? made me feel quite woozy! I think it may have been something to do with the reflexology ? I will definitely mention it when I see her next week. LovelyMonster ? no, it hasn?t hurt me. Some areas on my feet feel ?tender? to her touch but not so much that it causes me pain IYKWIM. It?s not a relaxing foot rub but I am able to zone out whilst she?s doing it.

Anyhoooo - thankfully my mood is improving in time for the weekend. Being grumpy is no fun at all!

iggylou · 28/11/2008 16:27

thanks v. much smileycat

that answers a few more questions I had

I've just learnt something today from reading stuff on here that I feel v.stupid for not knowing - I never really knew how to count my cycle I always counted from end of AF to next AF date... oops...

Deeja · 28/11/2008 17:24

Congratulations Boosie! I am very, very pleased for you. You have made my day which up till now has been all about interviewing people arrrrgh.

Anyway enjoy.

Hello everybody else...comiserations to those who's AF has arrived but I have a good feeling about Christmas - and what a nice feeling to have concieved over that special time.

smileycat · 29/11/2008 09:30

Heebychick · 29/11/2008 13:51

Hi ladies and welcome to iggy, i hope you find all the answers and support you need on here, i certainly did ad still do, it's my lifeline!

smiley i am totally with you, i have a really good feeling about this month for you, i have had for weeks and am just waiting for that bfp. Sorry if i am building up hopes but i truly believe it is your month and i do believe in signs, my sister died suddenly last year and she has been sending signs all the time ever since! like you i am not religious at all but i do wonder, and with each time a picture gets moved or something happens like that i smile and think of her.

Lots of luck for tomorrow and monday ... i will be watching with baited breath! Plus i boosie and i need company in the early PG stakes!!

smileycat · 29/11/2008 18:49

Thanks for your support Heeby lets hope we are both right. I'll certainly be happy with a BFP but if I get a BFN then with all the Xmas parties coming up in the next 2 weeks I'll be able to have a couple of drinks so either way I'm fairly easy this month
Been dingy racing today in very strong winds & feel like I've done a sit up none stop for an hour so bloody knackered now & should sleep well tonight

funtimewincies · 29/11/2008 19:30

Hello, catching up as I've been reading but not posting. Just can't get my head round trying again at the moment (even though we are) so I'm keeping up with the news but not joining in, if you see what I mean .

Boosieboo - Congratulations of the fantastic news !

Lovelymonster - lovely to have you back .

Jools - Just when you think that it's afe to go out in public . I've been doing a couple of weeks of newborn holding which has been weird. Sometimes it help, sometimes I need a little weep in the loo.

Hello any new people and sorry that I'm a bit of a pants thread member at the moment.

Sans04 · 30/11/2008 04:19

Hello
a very big thanks to you Pezzina , Elliegant , yellowflowers for making me to feel better, thank you with a big hugs.

well come back Lovelymonster hope this month would be your month and get the BFP soon.
iggylou welcome you too and baby dust to all of us.

smileycat · 30/11/2008 10:29

Big hug Heeby (sister) & for you Funtime you'll know when you are ready to try again.
I had a slight temp drop this morning so feeling a little down today, but at least I only have another day or two to wait until I can find out for sure & start again.
Have a great lazy Sunday everyone

Pezzina · 30/11/2008 10:32

Smiley don't give up yet, I've seen charts on FF that show a slight temp drop but then the temp shoots up again and they've got a BFP! I guess you'll know in a couple of days - but the waiting is torture! My fingers are crossed for you, sweetie xx

queenie1 · 30/11/2008 11:51

AF arrived today with a vengence. So no BFP for Xmas. Instead, just the last few days of the 2WW. What joy!

Smiley - don't know anything about temping but fingers crossed for you. It sounds like you've got a good attitude though re BFP or fun at Xmas parties!!

funtimewincies · 30/11/2008 19:16

Heeby, my temp with ds had big rises, then a little drop, then another big rise, etc. looking like one side of a cartoon mountain. Keep the faith .

Sorry to hear that AF has arrived Queenie (rummages in Xmas choccy stash for something to pass).

Thanks Smiley. We're not using contraception so it could happen, but we're not keeping a check on temp or anything. The New Year however will be a different matter entirely (cue mad glint and scary determination).

funtimewincies · 30/11/2008 19:19

Sorry meant Smiley for temping thing. I'll just go and have a glass of wine shall ?

Jools1 · 30/11/2008 20:16

Hi everyone

Have had a manically busy day in an attempt to stave off a major pit of depression that engulfed me on Friday night. Better today, but can't sit still or I'll go under again

yellowflowers · 30/11/2008 20:56

Hi jools - sorry it's been a bad day.

I had loads of ewcm in my period - hmmmm. Wonder if a freaky month ovulating ultra early? too late if so. today is cd 5 so just gearing up for do this month - though going to start from day 10 as I never ovulate earlier than day 16.

C1NDY · 01/12/2008 09:14

Hi Yar everyone!!

Have been home with the cold and have just returned back from work.

Have read all your posts.. but can I remember what to type to each of you... so here goes..

Firstly .. congratulations to Boosieboo... wonderful news!!!

Iggylou Welcome, this is a wonderful place to understand the ttc theory and also how to do the bd!!

VillageMum Hi there sweety, how are you doing with the bding? How are you feeling? I am much better, had a horriable week last week but I am back to feeling positive again. Have started to exercise and am eating really healthy... have stuck to weightwatchers and am doing really great.

Jools hugs. Are you now feeling a little better?

Queenie sorry AF arrived, at least you can have a drink or two before the Xmas celebrations. My AF is due today or tomorrow - I ovulated late last month so believe it will be a day late. I don't feel pg so know that i have a bfn

smileycat · 01/12/2008 09:45

Our bodies are horrible things, my temp dipped on Sunday so after a small amount feeling sorry for myself I told myself not to be stupid & look forward to Xmas drinking & trying again for a Christmas baby. I then got up this morning to take my temp expecting it to have dropped a lot for AF to arrive later...it hadn't, it didn't go up either just stayed the same which is still fairly high compared to last month, so of course I got a glimmer of hope & did a test (clearblue) & got a BFN, so back to feeling horrible again. No AF yet but its just a matter of time as clearblue are supose to pick up the hormone 3 days before AF due date & I'm due today or tomorrow at the latest, Ah well at least I can have a couple of drinks at the do tonight & not feel too guilty about it

Jools1 · 01/12/2008 09:58

Morning all - feeling a bit better today I have to say, the solution seems to be to keep busy and keep mnetting to a minimum, as it reminds me too much of what I've lost It is like an addiction though

Smileycat - It's not over yet Where there is no AF, there is hope !

I'm actually getting bored - so used to knicker checking but there is nothing to see - it just looks like normal non-fertile week 1 of the 2WW, only this time there is no anticipation associated with it. Am just hoping now that AF will arrive more or less on schedule so I can get busy Have read lots of stories of people getting AF bang on time even after an mc, so am hopeful - if she arrives on time, then the bd fest would be over Christmas - perfect time to soften DP up with a few drinks and seduce him on a regular basis whilst we are both off work and having lazy lie ins

He keeps asking me where my sudden love of fresh (not from concentrate) grapefruit juice has come from !!!!
