Hello,

As Nelix has a bfp (yay!) and she started the last one I thought I'd start this one as a continuation of this thread

Here's hoping we all get BFPs this month but if not then let's continue the thread until we all graduate

Pezzina, the prenatal vits have the right amount of folic acid (and of the other vits too) for preg ladies, so don't worry! Any extra folic acid above that would just be weed out. I read somewhere that an occasional early AF isn't a sign so much of a short lp as perhaps that the egg just wasn't fertilisable that month - maybe see what happens with your lp next month?

Good luck all who are BDing, especially queenie at long distance!

Heebychick · 21/11/2008 12:55

Thanks for the sofa offer guys, have made tea and will now enjoy a bit of daytime telly before dd wakes!

cindy i had lots of sticky CM after OV and what made me wonder was that it looked like EW most of the time and i'd never had that before after OV time.

yellowflowers · 21/11/2008 13:12

Hi heeby - sorry to be a pain but how long after ovulation did you notice extra ewcm?

OP posts:
Pezzina · 21/11/2008 14:35

Thanks VillageMum just wanted to check.

Pezzina · 21/11/2008 14:37

And thanks to Deeja too - I do try to eat a fair amount of veggies - will focus a little more on the green leafy types

Deeja · 21/11/2008 14:51

I'm quite liking the idea of bding at a great distance....I know I'm being silly bit it made me laugh. [Grin] - It's probably just me though.

In a minute i'm going to go and have my first use of an ovulation stick. Reckon it's about the right time.

Deeja · 21/11/2008 14:59

Queeny in all seriousness I think there is a balance to be had with trying to concieve positively and not becoming a insane mad woman about the whole thing .

I think I would probably tell DH about the fact that it might be a good night and see if he wanted me to make the journey. Then we could mad people together....ahhh.

Anyway just my two pence worth - you may have already have done that.

Elliegant · 21/11/2008 15:51

Hi all,

heeby so glad your staying, who knows in a few weeks there might be enough of us to start our own PG Thread

yellow, trying not to read to much into it but still needing the loo a lot more than usual... trying to keep busy, been at work two days this week instead of one and been doing loads of stuff round the house, don't seem to be able to stop cleaning.

My DS isn't very well so we been having lots of cuddles on the sofa today.

queenie1 · 21/11/2008 16:45

After deep breathing exercises and recomposing my zen-like 'it'll happen when it's ready' disposition (a state which is quite a fragile one to be honest ), I've decided not to go up. He's coming back tommorrow morning anyway so must just be patient...this also gives me a chance to catch up on all the work i've not been doing whilst reading and posting on this thread!

Hope you all have fun weekends and thanks for making me feel so welcome on your thread over the last few days.

xxx

yellowflowers · 21/11/2008 17:24

Hmmm - I still say do it!

Have a nice evening whichever you choose.

OP posts:
Heebychick · 21/11/2008 20:33

yellow i had some on the monday and pain so i thought i'd ov'd then, then i had it wed and thurs then sat (all ewcm) then around the middle of the next week (so 7-9 dpo) it started again and stayed till after BFP.

elligant yes that would be so nice to start our own thread, or join nelix and sparky on that one xx

Heebychick · 21/11/2008 20:34

ps the Dr went really well, she said apparently all women in our area are offered early scans now, before 10 weeks, so should have one in next 2-3 weeks, hurrah! She gave me an EDD of 16th July and also talked to me about Csection (i had an emergency one last time). All in all i came away feeling quite good and more relaxed.

nelix2000 · 22/11/2008 10:47

WOW!....I can't beleive this thread came from the original! its huuuuuuuge

heeby so glad your getting an early scan! whish I would have got one to put my mind at rest! And like you I have not found an ante-natal thread (apart from out wee one) I feel comfortable on.

Goodluck to all those testing soon!even those who are wondering who I am lol.

VillageMum · 22/11/2008 17:57

So queenie, what happened? Did you stay home?

Heeby, glad your GP visit was reassuring!

Pezzina, how are you doing? Is AF still staying away?

Urgh, only cd3 and I'm very impatient to start...

Pezzina · 23/11/2008 12:20

Hello lovely ladies - hope you're all enjoying your weekend.

VillageMum · 23/11/2008 12:44

Hi all can I join i han't read all 500+ posted but you look like a nice supportive bunch. I am just getting over a bout of depresion but I am not letting this deter me from TTC. I have a DS1 (3).

My AF due 2 December

VillageMum · 24/11/2008 11:53

Hi bigbaubleeyes, come and join us! I had a mc in September which brought its fair share of depression, so you're in good company. I'm sure we can support each other...

Pezzina, sorry to hear AF has arrived, but this means you might just have a fantastic Xmas present on the 25th! Glad you're reassured about your lp!

Funtime, we're in sync; hope neither of us sees AF again for the next 9 months!

Yellow, not long to go now till Thursday, hang in there...

Cindy, how are you doing?

((Waves)) to everyone else I haven't mentioned by name.

C1NDY · 24/11/2008 12:20

Not doing well at all today. Been crying last night and this morning... don't think I will ever get pg... AF due 1 December but I know I am not pg! Told DH that its a waste of time and that I have had enough. I guess I need to relax a little!! it is frastrating... how can we miss when we have used all the tools!! I thought it was going to be easy... how wrong am I !! oh well, looks like I will BD next month. :0(

smileycat · 24/11/2008 12:23

Hi Ladies, I'm back after my long wkend in UK heebey I live out in Gibraltar as DH is MOD but will be back in UK full time at the end of summer 09. It was bloody freezing..how do you do it I've done so well at not symtom spotting while I've been away dpo6 today so only another wk to go
Sorry to hear the witch got you Pez
Glad to hear your now on your way funtime
Welcome bigbaubleyes w'll get you through it, just stick with us
I'm getting lots of twinges low down & very sore boobs, but I'm not taking them as pg signs someone wrote a good note on one of the other threads, she said that the hormone after OV & before AF gives off the same symptoms as the pg hormone to get your body ready just incase the egg is fertilised, so until you are actually late not to take note of any symtoms as it could just be your body getting ready. I've taken that on board this month & every twing I have I'm just telling myself that its my body preparing, but it doesn't mean I'm pg..its working so far
