Hello,

As Nelix has a bfp (yay!) and she started the last one I thought I'd start this one as a continuation of this thread

Here's hoping we all get BFPs this month but if not then let's continue the thread until we all graduate

Thanks whitebeaches and many happy returns to you as well . Thanks for the cake (sends back a lovely big glass of champers).

Off for lunch with dh as ds is at Grandmas today. Planing to stuff myself silly? I should coco!

Hi Jools, as the others have said, take it easy. We were advised to wait one cycle, although I ovulated later after the late mmc (about 3 weeks after) than after the earlier ones (about 2 weeks, so near-normal cycle). I also found that the later one 'ganged up' on me and made me cry at odd times for much longer, probably as I'd let myself begin to relax. Hugs and choccy and just take things at your own pace.

funtimewincies · 20/11/2008 11:36

It's done it again, &&^** computer!

Deeja · 20/11/2008 11:40

Village your memory does serve you correctly I do have a bicornate unterus. It was a medical person who told me of the higher risks. Basically because it's shaped differently there is slightly less room. So if the bean connects in the wrong place it doesn't have space and then MC. That's why there are a lot of breech births and CS's as well. Not enough room for the baby to go head down. But it might all be fine. The doctor wasn't very clear about how severe it was. Basically it means my uterus is shaped like a heart rather than an upside down pear. But it comes in different degrees. Anyway I've done a lot of internet reading. Apparently about 1 in 25 women have it?.so it's not a rare thing really.

Anyway enough of all that.

And happy birthday Funtime - I wouldn't mind a piece of cake - Yum yum.

Jools1 · 20/11/2008 11:45

Info on uterus issues here if you haven't seen it before

The writer of this miscarriage site lost her first baby because it implanted in the wrong place in her "septate" uterus - long story - don't read at work and have tissues to hand. It sounds like knowing the problem is most of the solution though

Pezzina · 20/11/2008 11:48

Hi all,

Am feeling very because I just went to the loo and had pink cm when I wiped I'm only 8dpo which means not only is AF on her way but my luteal phase is shorter than last month.

Big stinky turds!

Jools1 · 20/11/2008 11:56

Not necessarily Pezzina - 6 - 8DPO can also be classic implantation spotting time.

Fingers crossed

spats · 20/11/2008 12:30

i am back for a short time, DH just popped out so using his work computer. He works from home and uses computer 24/7 so i hab=ve a laptop which is broken so haven't been able to log in for 4 days!! i was getting withdrawal symptoms. So many pages have been done since i last logged in. I am now on CD9 and doind DP. This is theory seems a good idea but i really was not up for BD last night as really tired. DH was so we did it but i was to say the least an unwilling particpant!! I lay back and thought of England!! My fiend has just had a baby on Sun and has given me her ebay OPK, about 40 so i will be testing like mad this month. Hopefully they are accurate. I still have some expensive clearplan ones so may use them nearer the tiem. I am drinking Grapefruit and taking EPO. I am also taing agnus Castus to increase my LP as its about 10/11 days which i know is OK but if it could be loinger i would be happy. I had weird PMT signs last month like tingling boobs which i don't usually have. I wondered if sperm met egg and gave me signs but didn't implant. Not sure if that can happen and if you would get symptom shtat quickly. Hope everyone is well and welcome to anyone new hope doing lots of BD. I have quickly skimmed last few days pages but have to get of asap before DH gets back. Hopefully will log in at weekedn sometime. xx

Pezzina · 20/11/2008 12:43

Thanks Jools m'dear for giving me a glimmer of hope. Just wish I could go home and hide away. Ho hum....

spats · 20/11/2008 12:47

oh pezzina don't be too sad, it could be implantation honestly at 8 dpo. Can't you go in toilets and have a good cry and shout - i would. sending you virtual hugs . xx

VillageMum · 20/11/2008 12:58

Deeja, 1 in 25 doesn't sound rare at all, does it? You're obviously well clued up and I'm sure that having a GP and midwife in the know and supporting you when you are pg would be reassuring too...

Pezzina, does it feel like AF? Seems as if it's taken you by surprise ie no usual AF warning signs so perhaps jools is right?? Fingers crossed for you!!

WanabeMum · 20/11/2008 13:01

Happy birthday funtime and whitebeaches!!!

Pezzina the motto of this thread is "it aint over till the full flow of AF arrives"!!! keep positive honey, don't give up on your bean yet!

Jools nice to hear from you, you sound a lot more positive again today. That's surely a good sign. Glad you're settign yourself some goals about when to start again, exercise etc, it's a very positive step. Good luck honey and fingers crossed you'll be back on our BFP list before you know it xxx

Heeby when is the scan? (sorry if you've posted it already, memory a bit squidgy today). Good luck if im not here to say it.

Ooh i'm off to sunny Florida in 3days ladies, and I'm irritating everyone in work with my countdown. Oh well! Very excited now.
Hope you have a fab time in New York too Becky

yellowflowers · 20/11/2008 13:35

Happy birthday birthday ladies.

So sorry pezzina - except maybe implantation?

I rammed my gum with my toothbriush last night and scraped mouth up - lots of blood and pain. Aaaargh - worst of all can no longer analyse whether metallic taste or not as now just tastes of wound.Grrrrr.

smileycat · 20/11/2008 13:48

Just popped in to read up before I fly away. Happy Birthday girls hope your DH/DP spoil you rotten
Pezzina 8dpo does sound early..take it as a positive sign until the witch arrives in full...fingers crossed for you that she wont
Have a great wkend girls looking forward to catching up again on Monday

Pezzina · 20/11/2008 14:13

Hi everyone ? thanks for your messages of support. Have just been for a nice long walk in my lunch hour and feel a bit better.

VillageMum ? it has taken me by surprise ? I haven?t really had the usual cramping I get before AF ? I have had some twinges but not the same feeling as cramps. I do usually have a couple of days spotting before AF but not until day 10 or 11 dpo.

Will just have to wait and see what tomorrow brings. My temp was still nice and high this morning ? so I guess there is still a bit of hope.

Spats ? would love to go and cry and shout in the loos but I think the whole office would hear me and I would be very I exclaimed loudly ?oh no, I don?t believe it!? when I discovered the pink cm and then realised there was someone else in the toilets who then asked if I was ok ? so I think I?ll just keep my head down for the rest of the day

Yellowflowers ? bleeding gums are a good sign are they not?

I hope everyone else is having a good day xx

PS. Happy birthday Funtime and Whitebeaches

Pezzina · 20/11/2008 14:14

Smileycat have a wonderful holiday - bring us back some sun

C1NDY · 20/11/2008 14:14

VillageMum welcome to the ttc stage!! what methods are you going to use... OPK, temp, CM, DP.

I have used CM, OPK and DP (well made up the plan as I went along!)

I am finally on my 2ww and we not sympton spot until next week....

VillageMum · 20/11/2008 14:22

Pezzina, well it all sounds promising if you ask me! Twinges but no cramps, high temp... I'd be cautiously optimistic if I were you, especially if there's been no more spotting since. x

Cindy, yes, I'm so relieved and glad to be at this point I can't tell you!! I've been temping since my mc so have got the hang of it now. I also use OPKs and am getting better at recognising CM. I have a long cycle (33 days with ov on cd18/19) but will definitely use the DP just in case something's different this month - that plan seems to cover all the bases! Wishing you patience and calm and endless strength to resist symptom spotting during the 2WW!!

pinkie08 · 20/11/2008 14:25

Hi Village

Now your fun can begin, welcome to ttcing.

I am using OPKs and am patiently waiting for a +ive. and drinking loads of grapefruit juice. (of course)

I always think its a weird one, we wait for a +ive on one type of stick thinking well where is it, am i ever going to get the +ive. Then we spend another 2weeks waiting for that ever elusive BFP. is there something odd about that

yellowflowers · 20/11/2008 14:27

Hi pezzina - bleeding gums would be a good thing if not self inflicted cause by slipping with toothbrush!

OP posts:
Heebychick · 20/11/2008 14:30

pezzina i think it sounds far too unlikely that it is AF, it's too early and without the cramps and with a high temp the odds are in your favour! good luck tomorrow but i think it's a good sign.

wananbe thanks hun, not had scan yet, seeing Dr tomorrow and will ask for an early one.

I feel a bit lost at the moment, i dont really fit in on the ante-natal threads and nelix and sparky are off enjoying pregnancy i think so i feel like i don't have a home , so it is lovely to be able to stay here with you lovely ladies.

Happy birthday ladies by the way, and for those of you jetting of somewhere sunny have a lovely time!

xx

smileycat · 20/11/2008 14:32

pezz wish I was going somewhere for a suntan its back to UK for the wkend, believe there lots of snow/cold stuff coming over the wkend burrrrr!!! its still 18 C here at the moment although v windy today but warm out of the wind

Pezzina · 20/11/2008 14:47

Smileycat yes, bring your woolies - we're due "arctic conditions" this weekend.

VillageMum · 20/11/2008 14:48

Thanks pinkie! Yes I should add that I have bought the grapefruit juice! You're right: life has become odd with all the weeing on sticks and pinging thermometers at dawn (or it feels like dawn on these dark winter mornings - would give up BBT with a glad cry once pregnant!)

Heeby, you're so welcome to hang around here; you're a real sign of hope for me, proof that there can be pg after mc - and a successful one too, as I'm sure yours will be! Hope the pg hormones aren't too bad at the mo; the early scan will be very reassuring I'm sure, and then you'll feel great!

Pezzina · 20/11/2008 14:58

Yes heeby I second what VillageMum has said - you're more then welcome to hang around. Its lovely to have your input and support and to hear how your pregnancy is progressing.

VillageMum I'm so glad you're back TTC - It sounds as though you've got all angles covered

yellowflowers · 20/11/2008 16:30

please stay heeby
