Symptom spotting - not due for at least another 3 days (only had one cycle since m/c in June so not quite sure) but just caved and did a HPT. BFN obviously.

But - waking most nights to go to the loo (which I never do) and could smell the red bull that someone was drinking near me on the bus the other morning. Am also feeling v sicky of an evening (had that with last pg, but clearly didn't end well )

I promised DH I'd try not to get so obsessed about getting pg again after the m/c but it's very difficult!!

Anyone else need to stay away from the clearblue for a few more days?

funtimewincies · 08/08/2008 19:37

I consider myself suitably slapped Sparky .

I'm so annoyed with myself! Dh has made me promise that I'll test with him there on Monday if nothing has happened AF-wise in the meantime.

SparkyMalarky · 08/08/2008 19:40

Ooh fingers crossed for you all.... still no word from Heeby? Nelix - so Sunday is now the big day? I shouldn't be checking in at 7 tomorrow morning ?

OP posts:
ontheup · 08/08/2008 19:52

I am cr@p I know but just cracked open the Fr and got a ................BFN am surprised though as i have felt so sick on and off today and feel very pg just like with DS so perhaps its just too early? Will do another on Sunday morning to be sure but not a good end to the day - good luck for everyone tomorrow!

SparkyMalarky · 08/08/2008 21:02

No judgement from me . Maybe we should call the thread "A home for those with no willpower" (watch out for it next month when I'm back on the 2ww)

Fingers crossed for a BFP tomorrow for you...

ontheup · 08/08/2008 22:37

Heebychick · 08/08/2008 22:56

Hello Hello .... sorry i haven't been near a pc since yesterday morning!! I was really touched to see you had all been worried about me, really nice of you all

I'm ok, saw the Dr (not mine but an awful witch of one) but got the blood test form, she is checking my liver, kidneys, blood count and of HcG! she was truly awful, she told me i had a trapped nerve in my back causing the pain and this was without laying a finger on me! wow she's good! not!

I guess she just wanted rid of me and had me down as another woman ttc and imagining symptoms.

Still no sign of AF, i have the same symptoms and today i have been having tummy pains and in my side like a stitch.

I get results on Tuesday hopefully so will be sure to end this story (hopefully).

sparky really sorry AF is visiting, tell her to pack her bags fully when she leaves - she wont be needing them for a long time after this month!

ontheup - WAIT!!!

nelix when are you going to test? how are you feeling?

Lots of love to you all lovely ladies xxx

nelix2000 · 09/08/2008 08:46

glad you are ok heeby slap the witch doctor! sounds v professional.....not!
ontheup lol yes hold off testing!!!

Not sure....you see each time it gets to the day before testing....i seem happy to wait!......its still early for me which helps....AF is not due till early next week so I am still this side of the coin...if it were the other..i would be testing daily!!!!

so i may test tomorrow for fun...or monday...or neither!!!!.....i am a contrary soul! x

Heebychick · 09/08/2008 09:27

nelix i have a lot of respect for you, so brave and so patient .... maybe (tee hee), let's see how this thread goes over the next few days and if the wait gets to you and you crack!

Yes awful Dr but still at least i had the bloods done, just wait and see now.

Still feel awful, god what am i going to do if the tests come back as normal! argh!

nelix2000 · 09/08/2008 10:20

when do you find out heeby? is it still a week for bloods to come back? rest up and feel better soon....you might just need a course of antibiotics?!? i know nothing about these things....keep us posted!

lol i am not brave....I just kinda like the wait....i am no masochist lol...but the longer i hold off the less I feel let down by seeing a neg every day you know?

Heebychick · 09/08/2008 11:08

Yes i know what you mean, i feel like that when the actual day comes i think 'oh maybe i'll wait now', like you say whilst you're not testing it's all still possible. Do let us know tho.

I agree about the antibiotics etc, i will feel lots better when i know what's wrong, it's all a bit worrying and i'm sure that makes the symptoms seem worse!

Dr said to call in 2 days for results which i guess will be Tuesday do you think? i had them done yesterday morning.

Any news on Sparky? Hope she's ok and not suffering with Af too much xx

nelix2000 · 09/08/2008 11:29

heck no heeby call monday..two days in a docs is not two working days..the bloods will be getting tested right now...call monday late morning...they may tell you to call back that afternoon!
Oh i know I get awful AF pains......hopefully I wont get them tho! x
But I will let you all know how it goes....eek!

Heebychick · 09/08/2008 12:24

That's true, ok i'll call Monday, the rubbish Dr said yes when i asked if that meant 2 working days, mind you she didn't have a bloody clue! if i call Monday that might chase them up eh, thanks!

I get horrid period pains too (which was [partly why i thought that early bleed wasn't a period after all)

xx

SparkyMalarky · 09/08/2008 17:04

Hello all

Heeby - doesn't sounds like much cop. Did she give you any idea what it could be at all? Have you done another test in the meantime? (ooh, lots of qs - sorry) . Any change in your symptoms?

Nelix - you're fabulous! Well done on holding out - that's exactly the attitude I want to have

I'm doing ok - my 'emotional' (left apparently) side responded more to the reflexology today, but it's certainly made a difference to my period pains - almost none today, and the cramps I had yesterday weren't bad enough for any painkillers! Fingers crossed for a regular cycle (and well timed BD-ing!) this month

OP posts:
SparkyMalarky · 09/08/2008 17:07

PS - any update ontheup? Here's hoping you're busy celebrating a BFP ...

OP posts:
ontheup · 09/08/2008 19:26

havent tested yet (am so proud) but still feeling sick tho' not sa bad as yesterday - went out for a long lunch w friends today and am sure they suspect as I didnt drink mind you I was looking after DS (2.5) so probably wouldnt have had any anyway but still...ikwym nelix re the disappointment...maybe I can hang on for monday. NAh, who am i kidding?

Heeby your doc sounds rubbish - give 'em hell and doorstop them on Monday

funtimewincies · 09/08/2008 19:29

Heeby - I agree that you should phone Monday, I get really cross at GPs just dismissing ladies who might or might not be pregnant. It was only down to a (fab) male GP who referred me to the EPAU unit on the vaguest of symptoms that my ectopic was discovered in time.

Nelix - thinking of you tomorrow and keeping everything crossed .

Sparky - See you next month for the 2ww wait, as I have become convinced that the witch is due this end soon too.

Heebychick · 09/08/2008 20:03

Thanks guys, how do you fancy joining me in a 'we shall not be moved' protest on Monday then?! You are all right, they are too quick to dismiss you as another 'emotional woman TTC' she didn't ask any questions or give me any ideas, just said 'what do you want me to do?' so i said 'well MY dctor asked for a blood test so i guess you should order that' argh!!! anyway my lovely Dr is back next week and hopefully so are the results, oh and i am calling monday to log a complaint, how many things go unnoticed with Dr's like this?!! i was worried about the back pain and pain in my side but she didn't even let me finish my sentance - in hindsight i should of demanded to see another dr but i'm not one to make a fuss, all i wanted really was to have a blood test.

ontheup i shall be on here first thing to see if you tested, i have a good feeling though, why else would you be sick?!!

sparky no not going to test, i really don't want anymore -ve's, i shall wait and see what happens on Monday/Tuesday (argh!!!!!!!!) But symtpoms are the same, very sicky which comes and goes, light headed, not so tired as before but quite more than normal, weeing a lot and strange crampy type pains in my tummy, not AF pains tho i'm sure.

funtime awful about your EP, but so glad you were seen early, i have decided if the bloods come back as a possible PG (which i'm really not sure) i shall demand a scan just so i can see what on earth is going on.

So ladies - a little Sat nite question ... .gut feeling, what do you think the result will say on Monday for me? only for fun, i was just wondering what it sounded like because i know how it feels but it might sound like something totally different!

ontheup · 09/08/2008 22:16

heeby I'm betting on a BFP for you - youre symptoms sound like mine so maybe we're either both pg or both have the same illness. If the latter then let me know what else the doc says on monday so i can get checked out

I might not test tomorrow - scared of a BFN, stupid I know.

ontheup · 10/08/2008 07:56

Well BFN again this morning am confused now as my body definately seems to think I'm pg - maybe its a 'sore boobs feeling sick and faint' bug? AF is only a day or so late though so we'll have to wait and see if she turns up. Ho hum. Did get a big hug from DH to make me feel (a bit) better though.

Here's hoping others do better than me - queenie???

Heebychick · 10/08/2008 11:11

Oh no ... ontheup what is going on with us?!! like you say it is early days for you yet and i can't somehow think it will be a bug which gives the same symptoms as pg!! Very strange indeed. I feel totally done in again today, fell asleep on the sofa at 9pm last night and had a nice lie in (thanks to DD sleeping in till 9.30!)

What test did you use? CB? What will you do now? wait for a few days? it's so awful waiting tho, i totally know how frustrated you must be feeling.

I will be sure to let you know what the Dr says as soon as i know, lots of hugs to you. Glad you DH is being lovely.

sparky i meant to say i'm so glad you cycle seems to be back to normal and yes it sounds like things are back to normal now for you xxx

ontheup · 10/08/2008 11:26

Thanks heeby have decided to make a dr appt foe Wed and then test again Wed mor nig if AF hasnt turned up. If its still BFN then I want to discuss poss reasons and if its a BFP I will need to get it registered. We're off on holiday on friday so I want to get it cleared up either way by then. Of course all bets are off if AF turns up.

Am v impressed re half 9 lie in, DS woke up at 6.30am today (lovely)

SparkyMalarky · 10/08/2008 13:44

I swear, the tests must be duff ontheup - so sorry neither a BFP no AF Do u know when you ov-ed? (maybe just a bit early for a BFP?)

The idea of a virus with the same symptoms as early pg is just mean!

Heeby Happy to join you for a protest. Don't leave until you get an answer.. You must complain too (although I still haven't complained about the doc at the EPU who walked in during my T-V scan without introducing himself, turned the screen, muttered to the sonographer, and walked out...still makes me want to cry). Hoping for your results tomorrow too? will be thinking of you..

funtime - in the nicest possible way, I hope you're not on the 2ww with me, but I'll be pleased of the company if you are!

nelix - have you poas?
