Entering the TWW wait! Whose with me?

Hello, I received my peak OPK reading today (2.43 on premom!). Partner is away until Monday, so we could only baby dance on Wednesday and I'm hoping that will cover it. So I'll be entering my TWW tomorrow or Monday and I'm wondering if there's anyone else in the same boat and in their TWW who wants to join me and wait with me? It can be so stressful and lonely and I'd love to have others to chat with ❤️

Thank you @KatieBee25! Ha! I’ll admit when my 3 year old is playing up I think “why do I want to do this again?!” Very briefly of course.

All strength to you for getting to the weekend. The temptation to test is real, but I keep reminding myself that at 8DPO it’s unlikely to be accurate anyway.

We do similar, when my 3 year old drives us mad we’re like ‘and we’re really trying to do this again?!’ 😂 good luck for when you start testing in a few days.

Springcloud26 · 10/06/2026 10:22

How is everyone doing? I’ve ordered my tests, due to arrive tomorrow when I’ll be 15 DPO. Should I wait until Friday to test with FMU or okay tomorrow, even if it’s in the evening when I get home from work?

I would go for it when you get home tomorrow, I would have thought by 15 DPO if you were pregnant the HCG would be high enough to be detected at any time of the day. Good luck!!

laesosalt · 10/06/2026 11:32

@Springcloud26 If you’re pregnant you should see a line no matter when you test at 15dpo! Sometimes I find later on gives me a better line too 👀 All crossed for you x

Springcloud26 · 10/06/2026 13:15

Thank you @SantiagoSister @laesosalt I’ll you updated!

GreenApple121 · 10/06/2026 15:42

@Springcloud26 best of luck with your testing! Keeping everything crossed for you!

GreenApple121 · 10/06/2026 15:48

@HanRose23 how are you doing today?
@Sylviasocks welcome to the thread! I’m also trying for 2nd one for a year now with a miscarriage during this period. Hope this is a lucky cycle for you!

hope everyone else is doing ok in their TWW!

Sylviasocks · 10/06/2026 16:43

Wishing you all the best of luck @HanRose23 and @Springcloud26!

Thank you @GreenApple121, sorry to hear about your loss. I had an early loss in February - it’s bloody crap. Hope the scan goes well if you’ve had it.

Springcloud26 · 10/06/2026 17:29

Thank you @GreenApple121! At the risk of tmi, I’m not hopeful as watery CM today, just waiting for it….
Sorry if I missed it, what did you decide to do about the scan? Hope you’re okay

Springcloud26 · 10/06/2026 17:30

Welcome @Sylviasocks and thank you! Hope you are doing okay during the TWW?

GreenApple121 · 10/06/2026 17:30

Thanks ladies - I emailed to cancel the scan and asked to reschedule it. I’m really hoping they will give me a date in not too distant future.

GreenApple121 · 10/06/2026 17:58

@Sylviasocks really sorry to hear about your loss too, it’s so hard!

@Springcloud26 is watery CM a bad sign?

Sylviasocks · 10/06/2026 18:10

Thank you @Springcloud26!

It’s an odd one, felt nauseous and some twinges yesterday, been more active today so noticed twinges less/ they’re not there. Could be a sign of pregnancy or period coming so… 🤷🏻‍♀️ I have slightly short cycles at 24-25 days so obsessively checking every time I go to the loo. And planning ahead for a February baby 🤦🏻‍♀️ why do we do it to ourselves?!

Realistically, my partner was only 1 month post surgery when I ovulated, so we’re still working with somewhat fried sperm.

@GreenApple121 Chat GPT tells me watery CM can be a sign period is coming, or it can also be early pregnancy, so unable to tell the difference!

Fingers crossed you get a new date for your scan soon 😊

@Sylviasocks I’ve also been excessively checking when going to the loo today 😂. Do you usually feel nauseous and twinges after ovulation? I tracked ovulation for the first time this cycle with strips, so don’t really know how long my luteal phase is and have never noticed any ovulation signs before, so I feel like I’ve learned a lot, if not successful!

Sylviasocks · 10/06/2026 19:32

Glad I’m not the only one! I’m also wearing lighter coloured pants so I can see anything that shows up 😅

I don’t think I’ve noticed the twinges before, but have definitely been tired in the TWW.

@Springcloud26 are you using an app? I’m using Premom for the ovulation strips, which is great. Agree it’s really enlightening, if it doesn’t go well for us soon I’ll be mentioning the testing to the fertility doctor we’ve seen previously- I suspect my luteal phase is a little short.

Springcloud26 · 10/06/2026 19:46

@Sylviasocks yep I’ve got the easy@home strips and Premom app. I started with clearblue advanced, but used all 10 tests and still hadn’t seen a static smiley, so from advice in a thread, I switched to the strips and saw my peak clearly - I was amazed! So I think my timing this month has been better! Good idea on using the info with the doctor!

HanRose23 · 11/06/2026 12:16

Hello all, hope you're all doing OK! Unfortunately my squinters never developed into anything more. I still waiting on my period, who knows when that'll show up 😬 feeling quite dissapointed. Xx
@GreenApple121 sorry to hear that your period arrived, hopefully the scan will be rescheduled imminently. Sending love.
@Springcloud26 did you end up taking a test? X

Springcloud26 · 11/06/2026 13:48

@HanRose23 I’m sorry to hear the tests didn’t develop, must be disappointing. When is your period due? How are you feeling?

They have just arrived! Will be home from work this evening. I’m nervous… still no sign of period, still watery CM today. No cramps. Tomorrow will equal my longest cycle at 39 days.

Hope everyone else is doing okay?

KatieBee25 · 11/06/2026 13:56

@HanRose23 could it have been too early to test?
@Springcloud26 I always had increased CM when I've been pregnant it's called leukorrhea. An increase in thin, clear, or milky-white vaginal discharge (leukorrhea) is a normal sign of early pregnancy, caused by rising estrogen levels and increased pelvic blood flow.
copied that from nhs lol, could that be what you've got? X

TheUniqueMember · 11/06/2026 15:28

Roll on the end of the month. That's when I'm going to remove my patch and hope for the best. They say that it can take a while to have a period but fertility can come back straight anyway so I'll be testing with opks and temperature and see how we go 🥰

SantiagoSister · 11/06/2026 17:14

Sorry to hear your squinters haven’t progressed @HanRose23 😔 it’s really hard not to feel disappointed. Wishing you lots of luck for your next cycle 🍀

Good luck for testing later today @Springcloud26, I also have been having some watery discharge and I had this in my last pregnancy too. But I’m wondering if it’s a bit early for that as I’m only 4DPO. So trying to not read too much into it!

GreenApple121 · 11/06/2026 17:16

@HanRose23 Im so sorry to hear! It’s so disappointing. Did you use tests with the same sensitivity? But no sign of period yet?

@Springcloud26 eek best of luck! Let us know how you get on, keeping everything crossed for you!

Springcloud26 · 11/06/2026 18:28

Omg, I’m actually in shock…happy, but in complete shock!

Entering the TWW wait! Whose with me?
KatieBee25 · 11/06/2026 18:32

@Springcloud26 I knew it! Congratulations! So happy for you xx
