Entering the TWW wait! Whose with me?

Hello, I received my peak OPK reading today (2.43 on premom!). Partner is away until Monday, so we could only baby dance on Wednesday and I'm hoping that will cover it. So I'll be entering my TWW tomorrow or Monday and I'm wondering if there's anyone else in the same boat and in their TWW who wants to join me and wait with me? It can be so stressful and lonely and I'd love to have others to chat with ❤️

Sure I got my first positive using one step in my last pregnancy @HanRose23 which turned into my lovely little girl so don't write them off yet! Maybe get some clear blue as well though I swear by them lol x

That is reassuring to hear, thank you! I read online that they're giving false positives/show very faint lines even if you're not pregnant - as well as don't show progression very well 😬 just going to say they're indents for now and I'll test in 48 hours xx

@KatieBee25 they're also so faint and so light that I think my head is just tricking my eyes into seeing something because I want there to be something? If that makes sense haha x

I was the same when I tested early last time, but honestly ive never got a false positive etc it's probs to just very very faint! Eek exciting ❤️. But I completely understand not wanting to get your hopes up too soon!! I'd retest in the morning if I was you🤣 but they do say it takes 2 days for hcg to go back! Xx

Aww I hope it is just too early! 🙉 can't help but get excited, but I feel really scared for some reason. I don't want to get excited and then it's negative. But no matter the result, it will all work out. ❤️
I've honestly just had no symptoms! Spotting a few days ago and sore nipples from about 4dpo otherwise literally nothing so that makes me think I'm out..x

Spotting and side nipples are major signs though 🥰❤️

Thank you! I hope I can make it to tomorrow to be able to test! 🤞I’ve also booked a blood test for end of June to recheck TSH levels, in case it doesn’t happen this cycle.

@HanRose23 Thats really exciting, keeping everything crossed for you! I agree those are quite major signs but also totally get you not wanting to get hopes up. It’s such an emotional roller coaster! Will you test in the morning?

Ohhh girls, just went to the bathroom and my period has arrived 🤦‍♀️ So annoyed as now want to cancel the scan?! Can’t really face having a pelvic scan on my period - but who knows when they’ll book me in next?! 😫

Oh that’s quite disheartening when you read they’re not good tests 😖 I use the Easy at Home brand for my cheapies and have found them good in the past. Did your lines come up in the time frame? I would absolutely be testing again tomorrow but then again I’m just horrendously impatient 😅

That’s good you’ve got a blood test sorted already just in case, do you usually have problems with your thyroid? I’ve not looked into it but I’m aware it can cause fertility issues, so always good to have checked.

Sorry to hear your period has arrived, what terrible timing too 😩 maybe give them a call in the morning and see when the next available scan will be, it may not be as long as you’re expecting 🤞🏼

@SantiagoSister thank you! I had a really long cycle (39 days) 2 cycles ago, and thought I was really late. Two negative tests later and still waiting after 8 days being late I booked a blood test for HCG check. Period literally came on two days after that, before I even got the results haha, but it did show elevated TSH above 7. Got another test 2 weeks later to check for T4 and antibodies, which were both fine. So gp didn’t want to prescribe anything and wait 3 months for a repeat. I’ve lasted 2 months and booked myself back in 😊 Wasn’t aware I had any issues, so we’ll see what it comes back with!

Hello! Hope you don’t mind me joining. I’ll be straight up and admit I struggle to keep up with the TTC threads sometimes.

13 months into TTC #2… thought I would be on the pregnancy boards by now, but alas, no.

We’ve had some initial tests and my partner paid for a varicocele repair as it’s thought that is messing up his morphology, which was 0%. This month is the first one trying post-surgery, so I should have some renewed hope, but I don’t. TTC is rough.

Anyway, 8DPO, trying to hold out until the weekend before testing. Good luck everyone!

Thank you @KatieBee25! Ha! I’ll admit when my 3 year old is playing up I think “why do I want to do this again?!” Very briefly of course.

All strength to you for getting to the weekend. The temptation to test is real, but I keep reminding myself that at 8DPO it’s unlikely to be accurate anyway.

Good luck for your repeat blood test, fingers crossed it’s in the normal range for you. It’s frustrating when only one of the tests are looking a bit off, as you’re left wondering if it’s just a random anomaly or if there is actually something wrong. I don’t blame you booking in after 2 months, I would’ve done the same! Hope you get some clarity soon 😊

Wow I admire you going for baby No.4! I’ve said that if we’re able to have another this time it will absolutely be the last time I do it, I just couldn’t cope with any more than 2 so hats off to you 😂
