Entering the TWW wait! Whose with me?

Hello, I received my peak OPK reading today (2.43 on premom!). Partner is away until Monday, so we could only baby dance on Wednesday and I'm hoping that will cover it. So I'll be entering my TWW tomorrow or Monday and I'm wondering if there's anyone else in the same boat and in their TWW who wants to join me and wait with me? It can be so stressful and lonely and I'd love to have others to chat with ❤️

I’m really struggling with a bad headache today, but am ok apart from that. Work has been v busy as well as my daughter keeping me busy, so can’t believe it’s nearly Friday! I think I’m going to test early as I have that scan booked for Wednesday and want to know where I am ahead of that.

Yes, I've been keeping busy with work each day and then making time for my other hobbies - it's always in the back of my mind though.
@GreenApple121 when are you planning on testing? Sorry to hear about your bad headache. Awful x

before Wednesday? I don’t have any tests at home so need to buy some - only a few windows of time though without my daughter with me 😂

@GreenApple121 glad your headache has gone! what tests do you go for? I’ve seen on this forum people seem to prefer red dye, first response? I was thinking of ordering a couple on Amazon just ready for next week, but my partner doesn’t want me to tempt fate. 😂😂

I feel like I'm in need of some support 😩 I posted on the TTC first baby thread but it’s a lot quieter!

Currently in cycle 5, I think 16DPO, had a peak on CD10 19/05 so think ovulation was the next day on CD11 20/05.

My luteal phase has been pretty regular, between 13/15DPO is when my period arrives and I usually get cramps or some signs. My BBT is still raised but no massive spike.

I'm scared to test, my hopes are up and I don't want to see a negative. I don't feel anything, no signs, no symptoms, nothing... surely I would if I were pregnant

I have one child and didn't have any symptoms whatsoever in that pregnancy, so you never know! I only tested thst time because I was due to go out with friends so just thought I’d check!
when is your period due?

@Springcloud26 yeh I have been getting boots pink dye tests so far. Although I had a positive test with them in January - not sure if it was a false positive or perhaps I had a chemical… but generally first response are pretty good.

I usually would have had some spotting by Wednesday/yesterday and I think today I’m officially one day late. I’ve never been late like this since coming off the implant in November, my cycles have been pretty predictable. It doesn’t half mess with your head, trying so hard not to get excited

It’s so hard to balance hope every month totally can relate!! I think if you are due on or late you can definitely test to check?

It’s so lovely to be able to chat here, I think my partner is getting a bit bored of me talking about ovulation and what is happening next in the cycle, although he understands ‘peak’! 😂 Also Chat GPT got annoyed at me - told me I was overthinking! 😂

@GreenApple121 I think I will hold out until Wednesday to order them on next day for Thursday, if I haven’t come on by then 🤞Sorry if I missed it, did you decide when you were going to test?

So I was thinking of testing on Monday or Tuesday next week. But I now bought the tests so really need to work on resisting the temptation of testing before then!
although I bought Superdrug tests and then read lots of reviews that they are apparently terrible for false positives…

Already talking myself out of why it’s genuine positive… it’s only cycle 5 of us trying but for me it’s been years of wanting, including a divorce from a marriage that wasn’t the right place for me to become a mum, and meeting my lovely current partner. I’m still in disbelief and shock, I never thought it would be me.

Thank you for the support yesterday, it meant to much to not feel so alone ❤️

I’m 10 DPO, stomach issues back to normal, noticed watery CM this morning and very mild ‘period-like’ discomfort, but barely there. So I am feeling less hopeful now, but the timing is also within implantation window? Will see what the next couple of days bring!

@Springcloud26 that could be implantation since you mention it's mild pain with watery cm. Really hoping it is for you!
I'm not feeling hopeful at all - I just don't feel any different, no "intuition", nothing. Only have sore nipples. So I'm a bit sad. I know 7dpo is so early still, but I can't help but feel a little down today. Anyway, I have a shift at work tomorrow and that will keep me busy.

I don’t think absence of obvious symptoms
at this early stage necessarily means anything. I had no symptoms
whatsoever with my daughter!
im doing ok, also no obvious symptoms. Been very tired this week but I think I usually feel like that this part of the cycle?

It's truly a minefield at this point isn't it? I'm currently in bed stuffing my face with chocolate and 8:30am so I think that means my period might be coming hahaha xx
