I am 9dpo today.......

Meeely2 · 10/06/2008 16:47

glaskam - see if I test today and it's neg, i can't use the excuse i'm testing too early and then I will be crushed - so not going to bother.

glaskham · 10/06/2008 16:52

yeah i completley understand that meeely!!

kayzisexpecting · 10/06/2008 16:52

Hi,

Been to the GP. A 24 hour bug is going round. They can't do anything for my headaches. Just to drink 2 litres of water a day and get plenty of rest. She said there were things she could prescribe but they haven't been properly checked so they don't know what they might do to the baby.

Also I just went up to bed. I read a bit of my pregnancy for dummies book and it said not to use hair removal cream!!!! I used it yesterday and now feel horrified and upset. Needless to say I can't sleep

kookykid · 10/06/2008 17:04

AF got me.

lardylumps · 10/06/2008 17:05

You are given hair removal cream in hospital if you have a planned CS kay so I am sure it just because your skin is more sensitive rather than anything it will do to baby.... Dont worry you are doing very well.

lardylumps · 10/06/2008 17:06

So sorry Kooky.....

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/06/2008 17:08

Glaskham, oooooohhh excitment building!!

Kay, I wouldn't worry, firstly that book is a few years old, and I am (almost) certain that they are deemed safe now, and secondly, you are past the first trimester.

Meely, not to give false hope, but many early pregnancy symptoms are the same as pre-period. It's not over till she sings...

LL Playing is off the wagon!!!!

Just got the kids a takeaway I couldn't face cooking them anything, but the smell from (bare with me) those things that are cut from potatoes and fried in oil smell absolutely disgusting, should have stuck to the garlic bread and roasted veggies I had planned.

I am not used to this sickness malarky...

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/06/2008 17:09

Ah, x post, sorry Kooky Is it deffo period?

kayzisexpecting · 10/06/2008 17:10

The book says its because it hasn't been extensively tested.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/06/2008 17:12

Well then, even that doesn't mean that it will do harm, it's just not been tested, there are loads of things like that.

Playingthewaitinggame · 10/06/2008 17:14

Hi Kooky, sorry about period.

Hi LL, as Nat said I am now ttc. Its all quite exciting really, I am doing a lot of grinning at the moment, particularly as I am virtually in the fertile part of my cycle (CD12). So although last night we were just GOFing for fun, knowing that it could potentially lead to a baby (however unlikely) is quite exciting!! Sure it will wear off after a few months if it take a while for that BFP, but for now I am revealing in the "trying".

Playingthewaitinggame · 10/06/2008 17:15

LOL - Revelling, not revealing

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/06/2008 17:16

Revealing? Do we get pics? LOL

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/06/2008 17:16

Damn it, you beat me that time!! LOL

kayzisexpecting · 10/06/2008 17:17

LOL.

I think that is a good way to go about it Playing. Just having GOF's whenever you want and not worrying too much.

lardylumps · 10/06/2008 17:18

yay for playing.... So when are you testing then......

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/06/2008 17:19

GOF is fun, when it doesn't cause sea sickness

Playingthewaitinggame · 10/06/2008 17:19

I know Nat, that made me laugh too

Oh and I was asking who here uses pre-seed?

Cal, linked to an old thread which I read some of but couldnt find the relevant bit.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/06/2008 17:19

I've never used it, but have heard good things.

What did you want to know?

largeginandtonic · 10/06/2008 17:21

Do you know all the time wewere thring we used KY, except maybe a couple of occasions. I had no idea that it is not sperm friendly [muppet emoticon]

kayzisexpecting · 10/06/2008 17:22

Awwww DS has fallen asleep in my arm(typing 1 handed is a skill I have yet to master) and has his feet up on the laptop.

Playingthewaitinggame · 10/06/2008 17:22

I'm not testing Cal. Well if I go to CD40 (longest cycle so far has been 38 days) and no AF then I will test but tbh I don't want to think about it too much. Well, thats the plan, we'll see if I can stick to it!!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/06/2008 17:22

LOL LG&T, easily done methinks...

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 10/06/2008 17:23

Ha! Can see Playing scrambling for the test sitcks on 6DPO (And if you're not, we'll make you!!)
