Thinking of you as you wait for Friday, as you say there’s nothing you can do and you’ve done absolutely everything you can do to keep the baby safe. You’ve got this 💪 how are you physically atm?

I’m okay thanks. Going for HCG betas tomorrow and Friday, not sure how I feel about it. Obviously it’s probably go to know if the numbers aren’t great but also part of me wants to live in ignorance a bit longer if it’s all going to cascade around me. Anyway I’m trying to be positive so framing it as ‘it’ll reassure me a bit until a scan as the numbers WILL be going in the right direction’. Sleep is still terrible but I’m physically fine really. No symptoms apart from very mildly sore boobs and a bit of a dry mouth. Scan will be at 7 weeks if I make it that far I think. I don’t do intralipids - just hoping the Pred/Prog/blood thinners etc will do their thing and keep this pregnancy going 🤞🏻

To all we have done it already and really random question which NIPT tests did you go for? and how did you manage to have results without the blood thinners impacting the results? Sorry as I said very random but I was reading about it again last night so thought I would ask for your experience on this!!! Thanks

Hello all, just a quick one to say that I will be travelling to London and in CRP for my follow-up consultation at 9am tomorrow (Thursday). Just thought I'd mention on the off chance that any of you will be around!

Oh I’d have loved to meet up but I’m working and going straight to an acupuncture session! Good idea though, let us know how the appointment goes and when you’ll next be there ? Hope it goes well.

@Deerdancer34 thank you so much. It all feels like information overload at the moment from the chat with the clinic. I’m definitely open to looking at CRP, and think they will be my next port of call. It’s really hard to find the hope, but knowing I haven’t yet explored all avenues is keeping me going that hopefully one day I’ll have a baby. I’m sorry about your tough journey too

Yes, today was 280 which they were really happy with - it's a good start for sure at 11dp5dt and hopefully we will see the number double on Friday :-) thank you for the love!! How are you? xx

You’re so right, TTC calendar is just something else. I’m crossing everything for you this cycle lovely. It’s always on your mind isn’t it, my husband thinks about it a lot but obviously we actually feel the symptoms etc so you literally can’t escape it!!

Hey @Deerdancer34 - we got the results yesterday and I am so pleased to say it’s all clear for the major three syndromes. I got a missed called from the clinic and I actually couldn’t speak, Olivia and Dr Edge said they screamed when the results came through - I am so grateful and just in disbelief. I still have so many hurdles to get through, but it’s nice to have some good news on our side.

Thanks Guys - we are just enjoying this moment. 12 week scan booked for 1st December which is a scary one. We will also find out the gender today - might take a walk just my husband and I and open it the special place we used to take our dog :)

What a whirlwind of a day - they called despite saying they wouldn’t be back today and it’s good news - bloods today were 681 so it’s more than doubled. 🙏🏻🤞🏻✨💕 hoping and praying for more of the same. Xxx

I’m so aware of my anxiety this time I’m trying so hard to keep on top of it. My affirmation cards from the willows rainbow box are really helping me, I’ll share in case anyone else fancies it

@Figtree11: So sorry you are here, but it's such a supportive space and has helped me a lot.

My follow-up consultation with Dr Edge was interesting. She said I would need to take intralipids and Fragmin for the IVF cycle, which I didn't need to take when trying naturally... I don't mind Fragmin so much but don't think I need intralipids, since I have no issues with NK cells and my thyroid antibodies are massively reduced. She also said that delaying the pred / progesterone to positive test would not be effective (which runs contrary to Dr Thum's second opinion, that I shared with her). I left the whole thing feeling a bit down, if I'm honest (although I was attending a funeral in London afterwards as well).

The Spanish IVF clinic will probably need to amend this protocol anyway, according to my bloods at the time.

Thanks @TammyinCork , I'm sorry your appt got you a bit down and I'm sorry that you suffered a recent loss in your life, I hope the funeral went as well as these things can do.

Does your Spanish clinic treat immune issues? Well done on your thyroid antibodies. That's really positive! Would you be on intralipids and pred for something else if your NK cells aren't elevated?

I'm doing IVF with a clinic in Greece (I'll be tranferring embryos I have frozen after my naturally conceived loss last month) and they prescribe blood thinners. I wonder why Dr Edge prescribes differently for natural vs IVF. It's all very confusing isn't it. I'll be interested when my Greek clinic say to start the pred, whether it's on positive test or not. I'll dig out my notes from my previous transfer. Progesterone they definitely get you on before a positive test though, I know that from my failed transfer in April time. I think that's because when your eggs are retrieved, you don't produce your own progesterone?

I'm awaiting my results from my D&C to see whether it was chromosomal or not before we put a plan in place for meds. Were CRP okay with you going abroad for IVF? I'm tempted to have intralipids etc alongside my transfer with them but as Dr Shehata is so abrupt, I've stayed away to spare my feelings really. It sounds reckless when I say out loud that I'm receiving treatment abroad, even though I don't feel that way about it at all myself.
