It's not good news for me really... looks like I'll be staying around in this thread for a while.

The scan was last scary yesterday and 'kinder' but no good news to report. They didn't find any evidence of 'retained products of conception' that we were told about at the private scan, but also didn't find any evidence of pregnancy within the uterus. It was put down as a 'pregnancy of unknown location'. I had bloods taken and phoned with the results late last night.

My hcg level was around 160 (I think she said, I just heard one-hundred and didn't need to hear the rest) and progesterone level of 9. Not the levels you'd want to hear if this was a viable pregnancy after having positive tests for almost two weeks. I need to go back to have more bloods tomorrow to see what the 'trend' is so they can either confirm it's a failing pregnancy or consider the risk of an ectopic.

I feel broken. And sad. And just... very hopeless. After the last loss, I was so keen to get pregnant as soon as I could again, but this time feels so different. I can't barrel into this knowing the risk of this happening again.

I am so so sorry, I know there isn’t any words I can say to you to make the pain and feeling of hopelessness go away, sending you so much love and strength 🤍

EmPeEf · 05/07/2025 09:05

I’m so sorry @Taysonic I really hope you get some confirmed answers soon so you can begin to move through it all xx

Ec2808 · 05/07/2025 09:33

Sorry for those struggling and having issues 😕 As for me cycle #5 and 32 years old…Cd17 today started using natural cycles this month and it was waiting to confirm cd15 as Oday but woke up this morning and jt has now confirmed cd14 as Oday same day I got my LH peak anybody using this app? So basically thoughts 2 or 3dpo? 🧐

Personally I’d think ovulation was cd15 based on LH and temps! But cold be either or in between

Midnight00 · 05/07/2025 07:14

Morning all, can’t quite believe my eyes but this happened this morning. I think I’m 13DPO and on cycle 7. Think starting fertility investigations and the HyCosy really helped things!
Wishing luck to everyone still to test x

That’s a great line, congrats!

Ec2808 · 05/07/2025 09:52

@Muddysocks1that’s what I think 🤞🏻🤞🏻❤️

Muddysocks1 · 05/07/2025 09:53

I’m 9dpo, don’t want to waste a test but did a LH strip earlier as I know they can show hcg rises too and it was so faint the second line was barely there. Still time but we’ll see.
Have to say after 2 chemicals (one almost immediate and one at 18dpo) I just don’t feel I’ll be able to celebrate at a Bfp until it gets past the first few weeks. It’s sad as feel most of the joy has been taken away from it! Feels quite mechanical now, but hopefully that would change if it stuck

Midnight00 · 05/07/2025 09:58

So sorry @TaysonicHope you’re being well looked after. Sending hugs.
@ChaE05It was with the NHS, first investigation that they do when referred to assisted conception.

ChaE05 · 05/07/2025 10:15

@Midnight00oh good! Was that through fertility clinic? Sorry, just from reading everyone's personal experiences it seems to be different for everyone! My GP has done bloods, pelvic ultrasound, chlamydia test and need to do OH sperm analysis. Then once all those are complete only then will they refer to fertility clinic- which I know can take months and months ! There hasn't been any mention of a hycosy? What has been your experience x

ChaE05 · 05/07/2025 10:16

@TaysonicI'm really sad to read this. I had a smiliar situation, pregnancy of unknown location. I know how worrying it can be aswell as feeling so heartbroken. Sending so much love and sorry you are going through this x

Rancor · 05/07/2025 10:18

Congratulations @Midnight00

I tested in the early hours of this morning as my toddler needed comfort. Then when he was back to sleep, I needed to pee!
9DPO. As there was no natural light i took another photo this morning when it was dry.
Last cycle I had a Chemical. Compared it to the 9DPO test I had then and it's much stronger. I also had a MC in Jan so I'm not getting my hopes up, just in case!

Congratulations @Midnight00 I can see that shadow on the test @Rancor You're so early on still so hopefully that line thickens! I'm surprised you got a line so early! Have you had any symptoms at all? I'm 8dpo and zilch.

ForGiddyDreamer · 05/07/2025 10:29

I'm really sorry @Taysonic but I'm glad that the hospital was less scary than the private scan ❤️

ChaE05 · 05/07/2025 11:06

@ForGiddyDreamer1 day behind you here...and the same. Absolutely nothing. Haven't felt a twinge and just have it in my mind I'm already out. I've been so so emotional today. Constant arguments with my partner and I just know it's a build up of so many emotions and hormones running wild. He's also tipped me over the edge because he's had cheese on toast for breakfast and he's playing cricket today so will be eating a plate of UPF. I'm over here taking all the supplements, eating SO well 90% of the time. All my tests have come back normal so far. We are yet to do his sperm. Why as women do we feel it's all on us and they just don't take it seriously?
He loves a podcast...so I've sent him some really good ones about male fertility. Has he listened?Of course he hasn't! Aghhh sorry, I'm just so fragile and pissed this morning x

SureLook · 05/07/2025 11:13

@Taysonic I'm so sorry to hear this. Be kind to yourself. Big hugs ❤️

@ChaE05 sorry to hear you're feeling so frustrated. I think this is just the massive difference between women and men in general. We tend to worry and want to take action but the men have a more "it'll be grand" attitude. If he's only having days like today every now and then it shouldn't have a massive affect x

ForGiddyDreamer · 05/07/2025 11:22

@ChaE05 I honestly think men just don't operate in the same way. Because it's not their bodies, they are so external to the process. They don't get the hormone shifts, the stress of constant testing, worrying about what you are and aren't doing. I am sick to death of peeing on things! I hope you find something nice to do today for yourself with him out of the way at cricket xx

ChaE05 · 05/07/2025 11:27

@SureLookyes you're right, they really don't think the same. I mean, look, I don't want to deprive him of the cheese on toast 🤣 but just add some berries to it and take your bloody supplements 🤣

ChaE05 · 05/07/2025 11:43

@ForGiddyDreamerthanks hun, I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling it! The tww seems to do this to me every month. These bloody hormones. Xx

littlefox90 · 05/07/2025 12:18

ForGiddyDreamer · 05/07/2025 12:39

@littlefox90 that is an unmistakable line! Congratulations ❤️

littlefox90 · 05/07/2025 12:44

Thank you so much. I'm shocked! @ForGiddyDreamer

ForGiddyDreamer · 05/07/2025 12:46

@littlefox90 hope you don't mind me asking, but did you feel any symptoms to prompt a test a 9dpo? I'm a day behind you & have none. I mc in Feb and chemical in March. Had symptoms with the first pregnancy but not the second, so curious how everyone else feels
