Not really good news from me either... (we're surely due some good news in this group!?).

Had an early private scan yesterday. It was, quite frankly, a terrible experience. They didn't really explain anything and it was all quite confusing. All I really know is that they made a referral to the hospital. On the referral form, it mentions having a 'slightly enlarged uterus' with 'irregular heterogeneous' something within the uterine cavity with 'retained product of conception?' in brackets. As well as an ovarian cyst measuring 4.23cm x 4.2cm x 4.7cm.

Hospital has rang this morning and booked me in for a scan at hospital tomorrow. The nurse on the phone seemed fairly positive and said it might be that it's just too early to see anything and didn't make reference to any of the above - just said the referral from the scan said they couldn't see a yolk sac.

I've no idea what's going on. They kept asking me if I was sure I'd had a positive pregnancy test, the dates I'd had positive tests.

@Taysonic my heart goes out to you. The nurse is right about trying not to panic before they look and investigate. It's great that the hospital is seeing you tomorrow. I remember the nurse telling me that early pregnancy is so hard to predict. Even though medicine has come on leaps and bounds, when it comes to early pregnancy, they just have to wait and see as to what will happen. You'll get your answer tomorrow, sending you strength ❤

@Taysonic if you were sure you'd had a positive test 🙈ffs what a silly question to ask! Sorry you had such a rubbisjh experience, hope tomorrow brings some clarity for you x

Trying not to get my hopes up as I know it's rare to conceive first cycle. Was blessed to conceive first cycle with my first pregnancy.

I had a tiny amount of spotting around the day of ovulation and then again today (7dpo). Achy breasts and fatigue which were the two first symptoms of my previous pregnancy. Also know that these can just be PMS but they are not usual PMS symptoms for me. First Response tests on the way!

This is how I felt before my BFP. I even called the doctor because I felt so so rough! 🤞

@Taysonicif you are about the 5 week mark you may not be able to see anything! I know most epus and private ultrasounds dont like to scan before then- ive rang my gp as il be referred to epu for progesterone in this pregnancy and shes set the date of referral to 5.5weeks as its easier to see something then, am so sorry for your awful experience ..did they do an internal scan? I think a lot of the time its so tiny they miss stuff on the scan at this stage x

I'm sorry to read that so many of you are feeling down. It's such a hard process. Thank god we have each other to let it out ❤️

@Taysonic I'm so sorry to hear you had such a horrible experience. These private scans seem to be very hit and miss. You're probably just so early that it's hard to see anything at this stage. The hospital are seeing you tomorrow which is great so try and stay calm as much as you can.

Oooh I wish that the private scan clinics had proper systems in place to deal with the unexpected. Then again atleast they did refer you straight to the hospital and you are being seen tomorrow. I hope it’s good news, or atleast they have the time to give you a bit of clarification

Sending you hugs. I feel similar. I hope this doesn’t come across as insensitive, but I’m wondering whether to bow out of ttc. I don’t think I can cope with the disappointment. I’m immensely lucky to have one child already age 3. Maybe I should be happy with that.

@Muddysocks1 Thank you so much lovely. Well we tried for 6 months January 2024-July 2024 - this is now my 4th cycle this year trying again. I’m 41 though so know it won’t be quick 😢

@LookForTheLiight I get how you feel. We’ve got a 6 year old little girl and feel so blessed to have her. We are 41 so knew it would be longer but it’s killing me. How long have you been trying for?

Having a bit of a fed up day too, 12 DPO today, just dont feel very hopeful, i'm not sure why. AF due tomorrow/saturday so will probably test tomorrow I think, temp is still up but its not been as high as it usually would at any point since ovulation!

This was cycle 3 although cycle 1 wasn’t a very committed effort I must admit. I dunno if I’m just feeling very PMS but I feel so down today! Doesnt help getting a disappointment at the time when your hormones affect your mood the most does it?!

I’m feeling super crampy now! AF obviously arriving soon.

Girls...I see some of you are fed up. Honestly I'm in such a terrible mood and can't shift it. Was like it yesterday too. I'm 5dpo. OH said I'm horrible to be around right now 🙃 this seems to be the same pattern every month and it must be hormones! Plus the anxiety of the tww. Sending love to all x

@Iris2024hard isn't it. I've just posted to say I'm a bloody misery right now! I'm 5dpo of cycle 8! Sorry remind me how many cycles in you are? So many of us I get so muddled! Xx

Officially trying since November LY but we got pregnant in that time and lost baby at 16 weeks, this is cycle 3 since the loss so i know not really that long, but we’re getting close to baby’s due date now so I think everything feels a bit heightened!
how long have you been trying? Xxx

oh that sounds so unhelpful! Agrrr with others maybe just too early to see anything. Hopefully tomorrow will shed some light and they can explain better for you xx

12DPO and AF showed up 3 days early! Not gonna lie, I don’t know my cycles that well. I’m 35 so aware age isn’t exactly on my side! Only cycle 2 ttc... used CB ovulation tests in cycle 1& have bought the advanced ones this time hoping for more accuracy🤷🏼‍♀️! Can anyone recommend a good app for tracking? Just using the free CB one atm but open to better options!

9dpo and AF has showed up just now 😞 between friends pregnancy announcements and baby showers I’m also feeling like it’ll never happen for us. We’re ttc our first and I’ve had different symptoms this cycle so really thought this could be the time, so gutted

@ChaE05 something in the air! I've just gave off to DP for being frankly useless 🙃 I think my tolerance is at an all time low today. Poor dog got told off too 😂 taken myself upstairs for a "lie down"

@Juls121 i use the purple CB advanced. I also use the flo app to track. It's generally quite good. You can opt to pay for additional features but the free version is basically all you need.
