Oh no @peanutForever 😔 as you say lots of variables so it’s hard to know when it’s so early, keeping my fingers crossed they progress 🤞🏻 xx

Muddysocks1 · 01/07/2025 09:17

I’m 5dpo. Had to take an antihistamine yesterday which j was really trying to avoid as apparently can affect implantation 😖

Ttcaftertfmr · 01/07/2025 09:21

8dpo today and BFN. Know it’s still early and I’m just hurting my own feelings testing haha but was really hoping I might see something today

Papill19 · 01/07/2025 09:25

Hello, been reading for the past week, I am TTC no. 1, cycle 2. @Iris2024 I am in the same position as you with a hen do this weekend and will be 8dpo. Did you just carry on as normal?

Yeah hun I carried on as normal. I never go out and I’ve been so down with TTC that I just let my hair down. What’s meant to be will be ❤️

Iris2024 · 01/07/2025 09:36

@peanutForever awwww hun I think it’s really positive that you’ve still got a line on a frer. I think we worry and panic ourselves so much ( I know if I ever get a line I’ll be a nervous wreck) I’d wait and then test again and breathe… easier said than done I know.

Im 9DPO today and feel really nauseous 🤢 Tight pulling in my back and hip but I’m not going to be fooled 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

Papill19 · 01/07/2025 09:42

@Iris2024 Thank you, I've been so torn! I really don't want to fall into a trap where TTC becomes my whole life and I stop having fun, but also want to feel like I am giving it my best shot. My DP already has a DC from previous marriage so already feel a little pressure there. I found it interesting you said no boob pain, I had loads last month and then obvs a BFN, so kind of thinking no pain is a good sign! When will you test?

peanutForever · 01/07/2025 09:51

Thank you all this group is such a great support!

Ec2808 · 01/07/2025 10:44

CD13 today my LH is starting to get darker, hoping for a high result this evening or tomorrow 😍this would mean my cycle is starting to settle back to normal...fingers crossed xx

This was my way of thinking. I never go out and don’t drink usually so thought I need to let my hair down. I’ve not drank and not got pregnant so it it’s going to happen it will happen. I’m not sure about testing. I’m got backache and slight cramping today so think AF is gearing up to come end of the week 🙈 my boobs ache a little but usually they’re sooooo sore.

am44a · 01/07/2025 11:15

Does anyone have any recommendations on which brand of LH strips to use? I’ve never really caught ovulation with them before as my cycles are so long an id get sick of testing but I wanna try the cough syrup method this cycle so i’m guessing I will need to track. Also does anyone have any advice when using them do I test once a day and when is ideal to test?

8dpo is still really early! x

Ec2808 · 01/07/2025 07:14

@am44a i'm in the same situation, mine were usually 25-29 days long and had a chemical in march since my cycles have been on the longer side 29-32 days long and longer and heavier periods 😫

It’s so strange isn’t it I had two shorter cycles before this and they were so refreshing compared to these long ones😂 I should probably go to the drs tbh but everytime i’ve gone to the gp about anything cycle related they just fob me off 🙃

SureLook · 01/07/2025 11:22

@Ec2808 hopefully things are starting to settle 🤞🏻

@Iris2024 fingers crossed 🤞🏻

@am44a I use the Premom ones and then download the free app and upload them onto that. I test once a day from about CD10 and then as it darkens start to test twice a day. Mid morning and afternoon work best for me. Try and hold for as long as you can, like 3/4 hours and drink very little. Which is hard in this heat! I let them dry for 8 minutes and take a picture of them in the same place (windowsill of front bedroom) for consistency.

Sounds like you need a new GP! That's ridiculous.

Ec2808 · 01/07/2025 11:58

@am44a i use the premom lh strips because they are cheap and come in packs of 50 if you are not sure when you ovulate it's best to start testing once af stops ideally once a day in mid afternoon until you see a rise in LH and then test twice a day to make sure you catch your peak, I have used other ones but these are my favorite..
I know really hope I get my peak because last month ovulation was around CD20 and it was absolute torture 🙄
how ong have you been ttc? ❤

Ec2808 · 01/07/2025 11:59

@SureLook really hope soo it has been several months now..think my mind and body have had plenty of time to reset and settle 😂fingers crossed! xx

SureLook · 01/07/2025 12:12

@Ec2808 I think it takes our bodies longer than we realise to recover. I'm trying to focus more on recovery after this loss than the last one. I really wanna eat well, drink water, rest and get some good sleep before I'm back to work next week. Although in saying that I'm planning on having a lazy treat day today. I'm gonna go to the shop soon stock up 😂 then back to being healthy. I could also do with losing some weight 🙃

NatalieSF · 01/07/2025 12:16

Congratulations to those who got their bfp 🎉 finding it so hard to keep track of threads they move so fast 🤣

Now cd6, taking coq10 along with pregnacare and adding BBT along side LH testing. Has anyone PGd testing? Is it worth it? Currently just waiting for the fertile days

We’ve been ttc pretty much around a year but we’ve jus regularly bd i’ve not yet tried any of the fertility lubes or anything other than bd really so i’m hoping this cycle is successful as we’re gonna try a lot of new things out and I also really would like a April or May baby:)

am44a · 01/07/2025 12:34

Af started so was a 34 day cycle this month for me! I don’t know if I should be worried about my cycle lengths seeing as though they’ve been differing so much? I did go on holiday this month so I heard this can disrupt your cycle?

ForGiddyDreamer · 01/07/2025 13:20

@am44a I am glad that you finally got some clarity this month! I know you said that since your chemical in March, your cycles have been longer & periods heavier. Our bodies are all different but after my mc in Feb & chemical in March, my cycles were also much longer and my periods very painful. I had a 35 day cycle, followed by a 31 day cycle. I've since settled into a 27 day cycle and the pain was significantly lessened last month. For two months I had to go to bed with the pain and felt very sick with it. My brother is a doctor & he explained to me that heavier/more painful periods following a loss is pretty normal. If yours persists, however, insist that the doctor speak to you.

Ec2808 · 01/07/2025 13:27

@SureLook obviously...I read a lot that many women are moe fertile after chemicals...deffinitely not the case for me...
it's just sad because before ttc never stressed me out and since the early loss I can't look at it the same way has been 4-5 months though so I had plenty of time to recover 😂
@am44a I have a little girl she's a May Baby have to admit love her energy fingers crossed for you then! when I fell pregnant with her I got pregnant August-Sept cycle though so that give you 2 months 😍I wouldnt worry too much about your cycle length just yet just going to be trickier to find your lh surge but fingers crossed for you for next cycle ❤

LuckyDuck93 · 01/07/2025 13:35

Caved in and tested, I know 10DPO is early but BFN for me & just as I did the test my spotting started, so sure that's me out for the month with the temp drop as well. Really intrigued about what the random bleed was at 7DPO, hopefully CD21&CD4 bloods might help shed some light

Bumblebee1984 · 01/07/2025 13:48

@peanutForever I'm currently 4w6d and around the time I tested at 9/10dpo I felt pretty nauseous. It subsided a few days later and haven't had any since which is nice. Congratulations on the bfp. I know it's hard not to be anxious etc but as others have said try not to test too much and give it some time. Like you said you might be far more hydrated

Mummysparrow · 01/07/2025 13:56

Ovulating today so the 2ww starts again
I have just done Daye microbiome test which has just come back as below optimum lactobacillus. I already take a probiotic and Biome which co tain a few different strains of lactobacillus so a bit shocked to see that. Has anyone else had that?
