Hey @megan345I was just honest and told them I had been trying for 8 months and they already knew of my miscarriages. Just asked for some tests to be done. My GP has been very good, hope yours is just as proactive x

MyPearlBee · 25/06/2025 18:53

AF arrived for me today so on to cycle 3. Can anyone help with these questions - firstly I’ve heard there’s no point taking C0Q10 unless it’s really high quality, is anyone taking a brand they know to be good quality? Also my luteal phase since my loss in Feb seems to be consistently 11/12 days (26 day cycle) - is this a bit too short and if so any tips on trying to lengthen it? I already take 1000mg vit c every day. Thank you 😊

This thread moves sooo fast! I'm just reading through and trying to catch up. Welcome to those joining us! Sorry for those getting BFNs it's SHIT. I hope everyone is okay 🤍
I've just has my day cycle day 1-4 blood tests and pelvic ultrasound results back. And all came back 'normal' still just trying to sort OH semen analysis. Coming into my fertile window right now, got my flashing smiley on clearblue and EWCM. I expect to get my peak either 27th/28th I think. Anyone else expecting ovulation similar time? Xx

ForGiddyDreamer · 25/06/2025 19:05

@ChaE05 I am similarish to you again this cycle. I have flashy smiley today (though have had 2 days now) & expect a static smiley tomorrow (for me, cd 12). I tend to ovulate cd 13/14. Today has been a proper day of EWCM too. DP should be home late this evening but we will bd at some point after he gets back. Then we plan to bd from when we see the static.

We bd yesterday & Sunday too. I think I need to book us a trip somewhere because I really don't want it to start feeling like a chore and timed!

Rancor · 25/06/2025 19:09

I got my static smiley today so there's a few of us who will be in the 2ww at the same time!

ForGiddyDreamer · 25/06/2025 19:16

@Rancor glad of the company! When it gets to about 9/10dpo things get wild 😂 despite the commitment each month to remain calm!

ChaE05 · 25/06/2025 19:25

@ForGiddyDreamereekk nearly there for you!
I only started testing 2 days ago. As I don't ovulate until about cd19/20 and I just can't justify spending money on these bloody sticks! It always gives me 2 days of blank until I get a flashy. I do find it exciting waiting for the solid lol. You've done so well with the BDing! We did it lastnight but will give tonight a miss as I plan to do it from tomorrow everyday going forward until day after ovulation. So don't want to get fed up of it 🤣 it's going to be difficult as my OH is on nights at the weekend typically! EWCM is the best indicator isn't it x

Sweetpeach31 · 25/06/2025 19:36

is ttc making anyone stressed? I feel like I’ve been constantly stressed about things that wouldn’t even bother me before.

I ovulated cd22 this month and my cycle is usually 31 days. Now I’m worried that there’s not enough time for the egg to fertilise and on top of feeling stress for no reason.

I can’t remember ever being like this with my DS.

Kerrylf · 25/06/2025 20:20

@peanutForever @Muddysocks1 I've booked an appointment with the GP in a few weeks.
I am still holding out hope that it may have happened this cycle though. My pregnancy in Jan, I got a faint positive by this time in my cycle, so it makes me think otherwise. But i am only around 10dpo.
It's so nice to chat about it this way with people going through the same ❤

I have just booked one with mine for a few weeks and i feel the exact same. I am just going to be honest and say that it is impacting my mental health since my loss in January and tell them about some of the symptoms I think might be pointing to issues. Have you booked one yet? x

@megan345 Have you been trying a while? i've heard lots of mixed experiences with GP's just hope ours are good xx

ForGiddyDreamer · 25/06/2025 20:34

@Sweetpeach31 totally normal to feel stressed out! TTC takes so much mental energy. Just read the posts from everyone; you are not the only feeling like that. I think we all find things to stress about too. You are worrying that your luteal is too short and I have spent today wondering if my follicular phase is too short 💁can't win!

@ChaE05 definitely EWCM is a tell! Ha, my dp says that if the height of his exertions at this point is finding energy to bd then he hasn't really got the short end of the stick.

I have been finding that my anxiety about getting pregnant is increasing as the months edge towards October, which is when I should have been welcoming my baby. That month also coincides with the publication of my book (I'm an academic) and I feel that the book is forever tied to the mc and it's difficult to find joy with it. When I mc in Feb, I was in the final stages of editing the manuscript and had to ask for a 2 week extension to finish it. And now it's coming out in October, exactly a week before my due date. Timing, eh?

megan345 · 25/06/2025 20:34

@Kerrylfcycle 10 of ttc baby #2, i’m 24 and my partners 30, we had a mc before baby 1 within 6 months of trying then took 18 months to conceive again for our little one,

however i only stopped breastfeeding on cycle 4 so think this may have influenced my hormones wtc as well xx

@Iris2024 thank you lovely, and everyone else who mentioned me.

got the blood test done today and get the results next Tuesday so hopefully will see what’s going on in terms of ovulation. I had another stark white bfn this morning and this afternoon I had the start of what I think is AF pains.

going to re-join the chat around next ovulation but thinking of you all and sending you all baby dust! Xx

@MyPeppyLimeBear hope you get some good insight from the blood tests. I'm so sorry you didn't get your BFP this cycle, but sounds like you could be on track to finding out more about what's going on in your body! Sending love and baby dust for you soon 😘

Kerrylf · 25/06/2025 20:58

@megan345 I think you do right booking with the GP given how long it took for you to conceive. Sending lots of luck your way.

@ForGiddyDreamer I can really relate to how you are feeling, I would have been due in September and I was really hoping I would have been pregnant before this to help me through all the emotions. You have done so well to get through writing it and juggling what you have been through, well done x

megan345 · 25/06/2025 21:00

@Kerrylfthank you! i think it’s mostly my cycles not being regular even if i’m confirming ovulation monthly, when i conceived with my boy i had ovulated 2 weeks later than usual then too so our dates were always wrong🤣 i get nervous about booking everything to be honest, fingers crossed its our month this month so i don’t have to book🤣🤣xxx

Yes, I think my autism is playing a part. I cannot reconcile with the logistics not working out, and then my ADHD symptoms are like “EVERYTHING TAKES TOO LONG” 😆😆

Contemplating not testing for LH next month, I dunno. Sick of peeling in a cup three times a bloody day, and after seeing someone say they OV on CD9 randomly and managed to catch it, I don’t even feel I can wait for the “suspected” window.

I’m 28-35 days so can be similar length to you and my OV on the only month I’ve had a peak so far was CD20.

What CD are you on at the moment?

FarAwayBird · 25/06/2025 22:44

Agreed with everyone who says this thread moves fast! Sorry I’m bad at keeping up!

@Rancor @ForGiddyDreamer @ChaE05 You’ll be my TWW buddies! Ovulation is apparently today or tomorrow.

For anyone with a short luteal, I know it’s a worry but I conceived my first baby on CD17 of a 27 days cycle so it’s still possible - even without lengthening it! Maybe I was just lucky, I don’t know!

Sending baby dust to all! 🤍

Bumblebee1984 · 26/06/2025 05:37

@ForGiddyDreamera trip away is a good idea. We just conceived 2 weeks ago on holiday

@Sweetpeach31streds can definitely impact ovulation and can make it later. However your luteal phase should stay similar so would mean a longer cycle so could still implant totally fine.

@ForGiddyDreamer13/14 is totally normal and not short at all. I’ve conceived 3 times ovulating between CD12-CD14. I’m so sorry for your losses. Sound like you’ve been through a really tough time. Congratulations on the book though. That’s amazing. And @Kerrylftoo also so sorry you went through this.

Sweetpeach31 · 26/06/2025 06:11

@Ec2808 im currently CD 27. This is first time I’ve used ovulation test so I’m sure if I’ve always ovulated late or not. I conceived my DS on cycle 2 without ovulation test based on Flo. So I’m totally confused. I’m worried my partners age will pay a part this time although he’s only 35.

I started testing on CD 10 and assumed I wasn’t ovulating this month so DTD every other day up until CD 18. For some reason I had this feeling to keep testing just in case and got a solid smiley on CD 21 so DTD both CD 21 and CD 22. Just hoping it works 🤞

Testing is so draining i was thinking about not tracking next month but then I don’t want to miss my peak.

Our bodies are really confusing!

Ec2808 · 26/06/2025 07:00

@Sweetpeach31 CD8 for me today...
about the same for me too I conceived DD in 2023 with Flo app just dtd every other day and fell pregnant on cycle 2 without testing
fell pregnant again first cycle this ttc journey but sadly ended in miscarriage..
now cycle #5 and nothing, it's soo draining...
I didn't test properly last month and it was even worse didn't know where I was in my cycle AF ended up coming on CD32
going to test this month to know where I am and only start testing hcg on 9dpo...

fingers crossed for you sending babydust! xx
