Top test was Tuesday tea time and bottom one was just now. Does this look ok? Iv had 4 consecutive miscarriages so I’m anxious about the line progress. Also Iv found my FMU is terrible and is fainter than other times of the day. Anyone else have this?

definite line progression there. Fingers crossed for you x

MummyV2021 · 12/06/2025 09:01

There's definitely progression there! Definitely try to test at the same time to be able to compare though. I found my SMU to be better and would often test darker in an evening on previous pregnancies and know that's quite common for a lot of people - so much so, I wonder if FMU is a bit of a myth to be honest!

Under that logic though, it might be worth you testing later today or even with SMU as you might find even more progression. I would say to step away from the tests, but having had multiple losses myself (including an MMC where there was good line progression) I understand how this can bring reassurance. It's obviously no guarantee but I'm keeping everything crossed for you for this sticky bean!

JLucyNick · 12/06/2025 09:08

Thanks ladies. Yes I think the FMU is a bit of a Myth. I’ll do one around the same time later to do a comparison. I just really hope that this time I get my rainbow baby 🌈

Me and my husband are desperate to be parents 😢

I also I’m not 100% sure on ovulation day. This is all I managed to get from my LH testing this month. App is saying ovulation on 30th.

Congratulations! These look perfect! I’ll attach my line progress from this cycle for you. I used these exact tests and have been really happy with them!

Do you think this looks ok? I’m worried it should be darker by now

@2025babyfeverThanks. I’m just an absolute bag of nerves. I really want my rainbow baby. I don’t think I can handle another MMC

There’s definitely progression there so try to believe it 🥰 how many DPO are you now? I know it’s hard to relax, but try to take it that for now you are pregnant until proven otherwise, it’s so draining assuming it’s going to end in heartbreak 💔 but it’s also about balance and protecting your heart by not getting too excited. Sending lots of positive and sticky baby vibes your way!

JLucyNick · 16/06/2025 19:52

@MummyV2021thank you I’m trying my best to stay positive. I think I’m around 16/17DPO. But don’t confirm ovulation. I know I ovulated late. Around CD 20.

ajc1994 · 16/06/2025 19:57

Id take a cb digital that shows weeks so that you’re sure but from line progresssion I think you’re right and likely ovulated CD20

JLucyNick · 16/06/2025 20:02

@ajc1994I’m staying away from weeks indicator. They just cause more worry and Iv heard they are not accurate. If I don’t get 2-3 I’ll just worry more.

Mine look just like yours @JLucyNick with the same dpo as you, and after multiple miscarriages I feel the exact same way as you. It is so so nerve wracking and feels impossible to stop testing. Have you been offered an early reassurance scan by NHS? Mine is in 2 weeks so hoping I will find out if it’s stuck by then x

JLucyNick · 16/06/2025 20:33

@DCmum95 aww it’s so tough isn’t it. It’s hard to believe it could all be ok. Iv not rang the EPU yet. I had some progesterone left from last time so really Iv got a week or so before I will need to contact them for a scan for some more. I just hate the place, I don’t want to go if I can help it. The early scans don’t re assure me at all anymore. Last time I was in there I ended up having a full blown panic attack x

Have you been taking your progesterone? I actually have some left over from the last miscarriage but I haven’t thought about taking it. I think I was worried they would tell me off if I did it without advice - even though im sure that’s silly.
I absolutely get you RE the hospitals and scans. I feel like I just need to know everything’s ok but I just can’t in my head imagine that it will be x

JLucyNick · 16/06/2025 21:25

@DCmum95yes Iv been taking it for 4/5 days. I’m just not going to tell them I have started progesterone 😂 Iv heard some ladies start it straight after ovulation.

I’m not convinced this one is going to stick 😩 I think this test looks too light for 18DPO. Also did clear blue weeks indicator this morning and still said 1-2 weeks. I think I’m around 4w 4d. This is just awful I hate it. Im an absolute bag of nerves and can’t think of anything else. If it’s not going to work I’d rather be over early.

theres no way of knowing @JLucyNick
but you are definitely pregnant, you might need another week before you get the 2-3 weeks

I remember thinking the same with my last pregnancy with my ds, as I started bleeding brown blood and I kept thinking if it’s going to be lost please just let it go sooner rather than later. It’s awful- it’s like brain turmoil.

but please just step away from the tests for a few days for your own sanity. You are definitely pregnant just now, but all pregnancies can swing either way with no warning so look after yourself and try and distract yourself ❤️

Try not to worry. For 4 and a half weeks your line is still good a strong and 1-2 is completely normal. They have a huge HCG range on them and you could have started low and still be doubling and totally fine. You’re doing really well considering your history. You can do this 👍🏻
