Heyy!!
I'll try my best to keep this short haha no promises.
Me and my partner have been together 8 years and want to start trying. I'm 32 years old Now even though we were never actively trying before, we definitely were not careful and I never used contraception (apart from copper coil that got removed in 2020) I have never ended up pregnant but of course it worries me a little but I'm trying to be hopefully and tell myself it might not happen quickly. I have been taking Pregnacare conception tablets and of course, giving up my vape and making healthier choices.

Im currently on day 4 of my cycle so starting the whole tracking ovulation and what not soon 🤭
Just wanted to post and see if anyone else is starting out and wants to join in and support. I'm gonna try my best to not do any testing until around 12dpo or close to when my period is due 😬

Wishing you all the best 🥰

@HennyPenny27 Im over the moon for you 💖
I get you, there is so much stigma against having babies in your late 30s but it still happens more often. My step mum had my brother at around 38-39 and my mil had my dp in her late 30s.

@kw1091 Hopefully things go quickly and you can have a peace on mind ✨️❤️

Im 11dpo today and tested negative. My lh stop was dark last night but very light this morning. I had some horrible cramping this morning. I'm going to go treat myself to a matcha latte and cake from cafe Nero before work hehe 🤪 not gunna test anymore until after arrives. I have a hen party next week so it means of she comes I can have a few cocktails haha

Thank you all for being so kind. I spoke with a consultant at work today who is fairly sure from the description that it is just a cyst which apparently are very normal on your cervix. She has said to carry on trying. 🩷

Sorry I haven't been on much! Unfortunately I wasn't pregnancy that cycle. On to the next 🤞🤞

Cycle 3 here... 10DPO, tested today and we think there is faint line. Did cheap test from Waitrose brand. I can't tell whether it is genuine or I left it for too long and it's false positive.
For some reason freaking out a little bit... will test tomorrow again 😬😬

Huge congratulations @ProfessionalOverthinker1🥳 🥳🥳🥳🥳

@HennyPenny27 @Caz92 thank you so much. Still early days and anything can happen. I got this pain on my left side 😓 if I didn't do the test I would've thought that my period is coming which should be any day now. It's so hard to not overthink 😬

therandomUN · 14/07/2025 09:41

Congratulations @ProfessionalOverthinker1!

Hi,

you say you haven’t been “trying to conceive” until last month, but also, if I have understood you correctly, you had your coil removed in 2020 and have not used any contraception since? If that’s the case, and you’ve had unprotected sex for five years without a pregnancy then I think you should book an appointment with your GP to discuss fertility tests/referrals. Apologies if I’ve misunderstood.

Caz92 · 14/07/2025 12:04

@Fly1ngG1raffe heyy you haven't misunderstood so don't worry! You're right though I probably should mention it to the doctors. My partner is worried about his sperm count and has booked to get it tested. There is like wee kits you can buy but he doesn't trust. I do have a family history or endometriosis and cysts but I seem to have been OK. The only thing is I used my cycle tracker and we tried to avoid fertile weeks but ofc things happen in the heat of the moment. I might give it a few months to see how I get on with ovulation tracking and what not

I got my peak yesterday. Cd13 so earlier than last month but my cycles tend to range from 27 to 32 days. Unfortunately we didn't bd yesterday or today as my dp is away camping but we did manage to on cd11 and cd12 but I think I may have missed my chance but I'll still go ahead and test at 10dpo. Fingers crossed 🤞

Hi all! I hope you don’t mind me jumping on this thread - haven’t really got anyone else to talk to as we are very much keeping this journey on the DL!

This is our first month TTC for our first baby. DH and I have been together almost 9 years, and got married in early spring. Currently 3DPO - sending baby dust to you all☺️✨🫶🏻

Caz92 · 24/07/2025 11:37

Heyyy @DaisyKG yess the more the merrier, it helps with the dreaded waiting games haha! I'm 5dpo today 😭😭 the suspense is killing me lol.

I haven't posted on this in a while. I still haven't conceived yet. I didn't do any ovulation testing yet so according to my app I could be 11dpo but I could be 14dpo but depends on when I did ovulate. I'm just doing by the app just now. I did have brown spotting at 9dpo then again today which I dont normally get unless I'm actually starting that day but tests are negative so we will see..hope everyone is okay.
