Hi everyone. Hoping I can join you for June. This will be cycle #7 TTC no 2. I really thought we had a chance as ovulation was an earlier and we DTD every day but alas AF arrived this morning.

we have just started investigations with the hospital. I’m 40 in Sept so worried about egg quality. Have a HyCosy in a few weeks to rule out na issues with fallopian tubes. Apparently that can give things a boost so fingers crossed.

anyone else staring investigations?

This is very possible!! Some people surge so fast & the it drops so fast. My opk the morning before I got my peak was soooo light, I thought bloody hell ovulation isn’t close. The next morning it’s dark as hell and I was like wtf that changed so quick. It’s easy to miss!

Hey @Midnight00 how are you? Sorry AF just arrived! I suspect it will arrive for me Wednesday too. I just have a hunch. Apparently it takes older guys a little longer to replenish so every other day I am told is better? I’m nearing the end of cycle 6 TTC #1, age 36 and feel like my age is against me.

all tests have come back fine other than my AMH is on the lower side.

getting tests is always good even if daunting x

Hi @Midnight00welcome! I am on cycle 7 trying to concieve number 2 also. Currently 8dpo. I have just turned 38.
I have bloods booked in for day 3 of mu next cycle and also a pelvic ultrasound. All done through the GP. Other half is going to pay for private semen analysis too as his next available GP appointment isn't until middle of July!
How did you go about getting the hycosy? Hadn't heard of it. Just had a Google! X

@2Sugars2i don’t take bbt no, I don’t sleep very well and wake up at different times each morning because of my 10 year old DS clubs so I don’t think it’d be very accurate!! I was planning to try pdg tests this month but didn’t realise you had to do a baseline one right after your period so will use them next month if I don’t catch this month

@FlyHighSky72 do you wear an Apple Watch? If you do and it’s series 8 or above it will do it for you! I don’t sleep extremely well, I wake up through the night to pee and it does it for me. I just set my wake up time to whatever I want for the next day and it just takes it. Even if the temps are a little out I still get the noticeable under cover line before ovulation and over cover line after ovulation. It takes no effort. I always know when to ignore a temp if I know I’ve had alcohol or slept very bad or something so it’s worth setting up if you have it. If nothing else it does pin point ovulation

@Midnight00 I’m also on cycle 7 trying for no. 2 and will be 38 this year so very similar situation. I’ve got a GP appointment booked to start investigations but it’s not until July. I’ve heard good things about the hycosy, hope it helps things along for you x

Ridiculous faint LH test just taken….Premom says 0.04

@FlyHighSky72 I have to agree! And yes you should be absolutely fine doing that. Tbh if I didn’t have the watch I’d not be doing bbt. It’s a faff!

@Ec2808 im with you, this morning my line wasn’t stronger either. If anything it looks a little fainter. I just hope it’s not another ectopic :(

With @FlyHighSky72 and @Thisisouryear2025 talking about Apple Watches… it reminded me to ask - does anyone have an oura ring? Might treat myself next cycle if this month isn’t successful.

Hi everyone, 10 months TTC, one miscarriage October 24 and another in April this year. Around 10dpo, tested this morning and had a VVFL using easy at home and other cheapy test. Boobs are sooo sore, needing to wee constantly and brain fog, forgot my date of birth at the GP surgery earlier! Just took this clear blue, defo a faint line right??! * NOT FMU and have drunk quite a bit today.
