@EmPeEfmine are like that - second month here - first month had a quick peak on day 17 of 1.25 on premom. This month I missed my peak - but my baseline is def low

Hey 👋🏼

Just popping in. We are in our first month of TTC after a 34 week loss in February. Currently on cycle day 17 and 2dpo. Expecting this journey to be an emotional rollercoaster 🙈

Esssa · 15/06/2025 22:23

Cd2 here, boo hiss! I didn't test HCG this month but I temp so I knew it was coming. A drop the day before and then a drop to below cover line yesterday. AF showed up in the afternoon. 5 weeks till I see the nurse led RMC at my local hospital. Feeling meh which is an improvement on the angry I felt yesterday.

rachael2308 · 15/06/2025 22:28

@megan345 I really liked ovum before when I was taking them. I am just taking supplements separately now

bigbird1234 · 16/06/2025 07:07

@megan345i took proceive for the first time last month and it looks like it’s worked. I also did seed cycling (when I rememebered).

My issue (I think) was short luteal phase so my plan this month would have been to introduce vitex/agnus castus.

the final thing I did differently - and apologies for TMI - was make sure I orgasmed every day in Luteal phase. My reasoning was that it would help blood flow to that neck of the woods and relax me 😂

It’s hard keeping up isn’t it?! I’ve been waiting for ovulation so just been lurking! My periods have always been really light - max 3 days and never heavy. Part of me started to wonder if that’s been part of my issue with so many chemicals but I’ve had 1 successful pregnancy and an MMC that properly implanted so I don’t think the heaviness of your periods necessarily means your lining is thin. I believe my issue is hyper fertility but would want to explore my lining thickness once my referrals for the recurrent MC clinic comes through. How did you find out about your lining thickness?

from what I read, a light period is only something to worry about if it’s not your normal. If they’ve always been like that then should be fine, I think if they’ve always been heavy then suddenly get a lot lighter then that’s something to look out for

Yes that’s true, I’ve read lots of people say they have light periods and no issue conceiving. I guess because mine have got lighter over the years it’s a change for me?

I had a day 14 scan at Window to the Womb, they’re fairly affordable ☺️

peanutForever · 16/06/2025 07:47

@Muddysocks1i guess you can mention it to the gp if its a concern to you? ive always heard it should be 3 days+ but i know some people dont count spotting as their AF and if they did it would be longer

@NatalieSFreally sorry to hear about your loss, big hugs and baby dust

so i have a massive box of LH strips..should i use them?

@megan345im on naitre/proceive and DH is just on proceive but for men, i find when its 3for2 at H&B its not so bad. Ive spent a small fortune on supplements for this hypothetical baby already lol

rachael2308 · 16/06/2025 07:49

BNF this morning and some light brown spotting. I’m only 9dpo but feel like I’m out for this month

FlyHighSky72 · 16/06/2025 07:49

@megan345AF arrived here too - overnight, great! I was on Proceive max from Jan-middle of this month and recently switched to ovum as it’s meant to be more ‘natural’

megan345 · 16/06/2025 08:05

i may try one more month of pregnacare, my cycle length was more normal last month so think i’ll keep everything the same🤣 x

Hi all! Lots to catch up on, hope everyone ok!

Random but does anyone else have really light periods? Mine are about 2 light days and have been for a while. This month it was about 1.5 days. My last scan my lining was 8.4mm the day before ovulation so not really thin as I was expecting, but seems odd not having much blood?!

Just jumping on this as i've had them really light since coming off the pill two years ago, we've been ttc for just over a year so i've mentioned it to my dr in the hope that we can have it investigated.
I've tried ALL the supplements to try and increase period length/flow but nothing seems to be working!

FlyHighSky72 · 16/06/2025 09:26

So I’m due my smear - when’s the best time to book it for when ttc?

ChaE05 · 16/06/2025 09:34

@NatalieSFthis is 💔 I'm truly so sorry this has happened to you. And sending you lots of baby dust x

peanutForever · 16/06/2025 09:39

@FlyHighSky72just after AF!

MummyV2021 · 16/06/2025 09:53

FlyHighSky72 · 16/06/2025 09:26

So I’m due my smear - when’s the best time to book it for when ttc?

I don’t think there’s a particular time that’s best, obviously not AF and I would also say not in the week leading up to AF as you might be pregnant which would mean your results may not be accurate. I was due my smear in Feb just after I got my BFP with what ended up being an MMC in late March and so booked it in for 12 weeks after that, which will be Wednesday this week and I’ll be 2DPO. I did some googling (obviously super accurate and scientifically correct haha) which suggested that a smear doesn’t affect ovulation or implantation as it’s simply the outer cervix. I’m not concerned about having mine on Wednesday but I might be if I was more than 6DPO. The timing for me just fell on a date I felt comfortable with but if I had the choice I’d probably go in my luteal phase before ovulation/FW if I could time it well enough
