Those of us who test early (ie everyone on this thread!) I guess we are more likely to spot the beans that aren't quite sticky enough? Just seems so many having chemicals 😟 that first positive test is really just another step in the right direction isn't it. Wild how hung up we are on getting something that still offers no guarantee. No wonder we struggle with it all. Also, I was thinking earlier, it's something that you're conscious of working towards every single day of every cycle even though you can only get pregnant for pretty much 24 hours. That is also wild.

Yeah, after my chemical last cycle I did think “am I just torturing myself by testing early and being aware of them?”

But I’ve come to the decision that I’d rather know that sperm was meeting the egg, but the blastocyst etc were failing. Because that can be down to actual issues, such as fragmented sperm DNA etc.
My partner has been taking very hot baths and that could be the issue and we can fix that. Or it could be that my eggs are 40 years old which we can’t do anything about. But I’d rather know and be in more control over what we do as next steps. We don’t have months and months to waste by banging our ignorant heads against the same wall if that makes sense.

On temping - it gets just second nature after a while, I don’t do it at the exact time every morning I just do it when I wake, but otherwise I’d have no idea where I actually was in my cycle, as ovulation can vary, would worry that I could miss ovulation but also I wouldn’t actually know when my period was due. Some months I’ve not bothered much but also now I’m doing progesterone I need to be sure I’ve ovulated

Me too 100%. I feel at least I know sperm is meeting the egg and it’s possible for that to
happen, I hope that helps investigations as can help identify what the issue might be. Plus it gives me slightly more hope having had a BFP that it can happen again? X

I’m freaking out a bit now that we might end up having to do IVF. I know there’s things that can be tried first (although a bit of a minefield of things to test, like keep seeing about immunology but it’s so expensive!), but I’m just starting to doubt now that’s it’s possible naturally. Keep hearing of people who get pregnant naturally once they’ve been referred though 🤞🏻

Finally i got a darker line than the control line on an ovulation test. Felt crampy this morning too. After tomorrow I'm finally 1dpo and have the tww to wade through. But this has alreaddddddy felt so long x

How are you feeling today @hollyhocks2 @2Sugars2 We are all 10dpo today I believe.

I was debating not testing tomorrow, I am a bit discouraged. I had a crampy abdomen last night and what felt like ov pain in my left side in bed last night. Part of me doesn't want to see the stark white and just wait for AF to show up. Will likely change my mind tomorrow though!

@ForGiddyDreamer well..... I don't know what came over me this morning but I tested and of course it was as white as a test can be! I honestly don't know why I did it. It put me in a mood for a few hours. But I've blasted some music and done some angry cleaning so I feel slightly better now. I was adamant I wasn't going to test this month either... but here we are!

@2Sugars2 angry cleaning is self-soothing 😂 I definitely think I've pms as I was throwing the recycling about this morning! 10dpo is still so early to test though. I'm pretty sure if I test tomorrow and it's bfn, it'll just start anxiety testing until AF shows.

CD2 for me as AF arrived yesterday, very light flow and really bad cramping. Here we are at another cycle 😩

This month was cycle number 10 on trying for baby number 2. Decided I wasn’t going to test this month and try not to stress. Felt nauseous this morning and got this! No idea how many days po (at a guess maybe 11?!) period was due today! Now off to the shop to buy 50 more to track it and hoping for the best 🤞🏻
