@megan345 @FlyHighSky72 @Thisisouryear2025
Thank you all! Just done a digital, third pee of the day and rather forced 😂 but got the below 🥰😁. The only worry is that is says 1-2 weeks, I should be 4+ but going to do one in the morning with first morning.

Congratulations! That’s so exciting 🥰🥰

LookForTheLiight · 07/06/2025 17:46

Sorry to hear of others struggling. My AF finally arrived which has provided some relief from the mental struggles. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you all still in the tww.

My period cramps are a BITCH today, just to rub salt in the wound 😜 but at least I’m on CD1 now, not 33! 😅

Oh really, that's eased any inital nerves, thank you so much, can't quite believe it!! Xxxx

So chuffed for you! If you don’t mind me asking how long were you trying for? Xxx

Of course, no problem, we tried on and off towards the end of last year but only consistently since January! Xxx

@MrsGingerCat ok gives me hope I should hopefully be soon! We are 6 months now and AF due wed. Convinced I’m out. Do you have any symptoms? I have zero xxx

Rancor · 07/06/2025 18:44

Since this morning's veryyyyy faint line I decided I couldn't possibly wait until tomorrow, so took another one this evening. Can anyone else see it? My DH can't🤔

@Rancor i think I can see what you’re seeing.

Massive congrats @MrsGingerCat that first test wasn’t a faint line at all! Looks great!

I've got everything crossed for you 🤞🤞
Honestly, no symptoms, I thought i was out too, had mild cramping over the past few days, though AF was imminent xxx

Thank you, think I was just in shock and denial haha 😊 I still am!

peanutForever · 07/06/2025 20:28

Ahhh @MrsGingerCatcongratulations am so pleased for you, what are your stats as the girls say!

peanutForever · 07/06/2025 20:31

@Muddysocks1hope you are okay it does take a while for hcg to increase so could be that.

@Thisisouryear2025defo know how you feel the whole 6month thing scares me but then at the same time im already under gp guidance its just i dont wana be classed under that umbrella which is silly really.

peanutForever · 07/06/2025 20:32

@Rancori can see something very faint, but seems like an evap as it would need a bit more colour and be thicker i think- i hope its not and gradually turns into something for you as its always harder to see on pics ♥️

hollyhocks2 · 07/06/2025 20:46

Oh gals. Just wanna send every one of you a big hug, the BFPs and the chemicals and the inexplicably long cycles and the confusing ovulations. It's all just nuts.

I'm 7DPO, feels a relief to get the first week done but I know this is where it starts getting harder for me. For a start I don't feel any different to normal and my hope just starts to wane. Thinking to test on Wednesday maybe. Would be 11DPO.

Thanks also to everyone sharing what they've researched and learnt, it's fascinating and so helpful. I'm going to the GP on Tuesday to ask for blood tests. Thinking about it maybe I'll test that day just in case.

FlyHighSky72 · 07/06/2025 20:55

All the chat about tests - what does everyone ask for in terms of blood tests as a first step? Has anyone got like a list of like ‘1st ask for these’ ‘then get them to check this’ etc etc

ChaE05 · 07/06/2025 20:55

@hollyhocks2i know that feeling, I'm in it right now at 9dpo. I'm not going to test until 12 but I just feel in my heart I'm already out. This part really is the worst x

ChaE05 · 07/06/2025 20:58

@FlyHighSky72my GP told told me they would be testing thyroid, vit d, b12 etc as these are the important ones in terms of fertility. There's a whole load of other things they tested. Seemed to be a full blood test. X

peanutForever · 07/06/2025 21:35

I believe they just run a full panel- iron vit d, c, full thyroid panel - then also sex hormones fsh, amh, lh, progesterone, estrogen- some done on certain days- then the standard questions on your cycle, how regular, how many days, cervical mucus, how they were before you went on birth control etc x

peanutForever · 07/06/2025 21:37

Also because chat gpt is givjng me contradicting adv
when to take raspberry leaf tea? and do i stop coq10 after ovulation or continue?

FlyHighSky72 · 07/06/2025 21:42

Thanks @peanutForeverand @ChaE05- I’m on month 2 atm so will leave it a bit longer - might start the process at month 4 as I’m just 37! I got a full panel in November 2023 and all was good then (optimal range not just ok for general health) - hopefully things haven’t changed much between then and now 🤞🏼🤞🏼

FlyHighSky72 · 07/06/2025 21:44

@peanutForeverive been taking coQ10 all cycle long since January!? What have you read that says you can’t? I though raspberry leaf tea was more for toning the uterus for both once pregnant ?

peanutForever · 07/06/2025 22:05

So have i with coq10 but raspberry leaf tea is just up until ovulation i thought and chat GPT was telling me otherwise, but google says im correct! Then you can have rlt later on like 32 weeks onwards in pregnancy, defo not recommended for early pregnancy. Honestly feels like im trying too hard atm lol

Muddysocks1 · 07/06/2025 22:40

Thisisouryear2025 · 07/06/2025 16:43

@Muddysocks1 yeah I do the same. Try to remind myself of the stats over 35 and that 6 months isn’t that long based on my chances…. It’s really hard though. Sorry for being thick but is a chemical classed as a clinical pregnancy? I’m so sorry for your losses x

Not thick at all! My understanding is a chemical pregnancy is before it can be seen on a scan, ie. Before about 6 weeks. A clinical pregnancy is once it can be seen on scan and confirmed so usually after 6 weeks. I think sometimes chemicals count as recurrent miscarriages but equally seems to vary if chemicals count against you got ivf criteria.

Ladies, I need your opinions please.
Me and DH are TTC our first.
I've posted on and off in these TTC threads but haven't for a little while due to the disappointment each month.

My period was due two days ago but I can be a few days either side, that's not unusual for me. I did a test a couple of days ago was BFN.

The past couple of days I've been feeling cramps and have been waiting for my period.
I was about to jump in the shower and decided to do another test and the attached image is the result.
My worry is I would expect if I am pregnant the line would be much darker by now as i am past missed period.

Things to note:

  • it was my second pee of the day.
  • the faint line came up within the first couple of mins but was fainter than the attached. The below is after about 5 mins
  • it's a new brand of test that I haven't used before, the cheap ones from Home Bargains
-I have never even seen a slightly faint line before... this is a first and is why I am doubting everything

What are your thoughts? Should the line be darker at this stage? Faulty test/evap line?

DH is popping out to get a digital in a bit.

Thanks for your thoughts 😊

I think I remember you from prev threads! Looks like a proper line and dark at that 🤞🏻
