@ThisZippyViewer I hear you. I’m struggling so much. Last day of my holiday today and I just want to get home to my dogs to hug them tight. I don’t want to go back to the reality of no baby in the house x

@ThisZippyViewer @Thisisouryear2025 ❤️ such an emotional rollercoaster. Had a good cry at my DP and he just kept repeating that it's a 20% likelihood at best each try. Want to whallop him 😂 but I know he's trying to help. I work at home a lot outside semester so I think I've a lot of alone time to have my own little spirals.

@ForGiddyDreamer it really is isn’t it! How many months have you been trying for? I’m at 6 months, AF due Wednesday and I know it will arrive. I just don’t understand. At 36 I’m told there is an 18% chance per month for me, so even less. But i just don’t get why I had a chemical from having sex once last August. Stopped trying. Started trying again in Jan and then nothing ever since. Men do try to help, my OH says all the time, “its ok babe, we just keep having sex and it will happen, we are old now” I’m like yes I know Mr logical but I don’t need logic right now 😂😂

I'm sorry about the chemical. We started trying June 2024 but stopped after I got a new job in Ireland in July. Started again in January and I got pregnant. Mc in Feb, chemical in March. Took April off and now we're on the 2nd cycle of trying. So maybe 5 months.

i think for some couples it does just take longer, me & my partner got pregnant 6 months into dating (not trying) but that ended in a miscarriage, ever since the miscarriage my cycles went out of wack🤣 but i then got pregnant with my son 1y6m after that, now we’re on cycle 9 ttc but cycle 6 since stopping breastfeeding❤️

Yeah i freaked out at one year because that’s technically infertile! Even though i did conceive but had a chemical, I think it counts as infertile if you haven’t had a “clinical” pregnancy.
I do remind myself of the monthly stat - like it’s totally normal to take 3 months because it’s a % likelihood each month, but it’s harder each month as time goes on. I’m on cycle 14 and it feels so hard. My tests had all been either VVVVFL or nothing today so I’m guessing this is a chemical, although I reviewed my tests from the last Bfp cycle I had and I had a real mix of stark white and VFLs for 2 days because a definite line, so I just don’t know! Torn between just making myself try and forget about it for a couple of days, and keeping testing.

Ladies, I need your opinions please.
Me and DH are TTC our first.
I've posted on and off in these TTC threads but haven't for a little while due to the disappointment each month.

My period was due two days ago but I can be a few days either side, that's not unusual for me. I did a test a couple of days ago was BFN.

The past couple of days I've been feeling cramps and have been waiting for my period.
I was about to jump in the shower and decided to do another test and the attached image is the result.
My worry is I would expect if I am pregnant the line would be much darker by now as i am past missed period.

Things to note:

• it was my second pee of the day.
• the faint line came up within the first couple of mins but was fainter than the attached. The below is after about 5 mins
• it's a new brand of test that I haven't used before, the cheap ones from Home Bargains

-I have never even seen a slightly faint line before... this is a first and is why I am doubting everything

What are your thoughts? Should the line be darker at this stage? Faulty test/evap line?

DH is popping out to get a digital in a bit.

it looks good!! don’t be disheartened though if digital comes back negative, they need a considerable amount more hcg than dye tests, could dh get another type of dye test to compare?? fingers crossed for you!!❤️xx

Looks positive!! It’s not that faint. If you are only 14dpo or something it may take some time to build up. I don’t know the sensitivity of the test you use but a frer will pick it up more clearly x

I took this at 10DPO (estimated, not confirmed, as my body temperature was all over the place with being ill!). With both my previous pregnancies (one ended in MC) I had a stronger line at 10DPO so I'm not getting my hopes up! I see something, but probably just an evap..

@Muddysocks1 yeah I do the same. Try to remind myself of the stats over 35 and that 6 months isn’t that long based on my chances…. It’s really hard though. Sorry for being thick but is a chemical classed as a clinical pregnancy? I’m so sorry for your losses x

Thank you all! Just done a digital, third pee of the day and rather forced 😂 but got the below 🥰😁. The only worry is that is says 1-2 weeks, I should be 4+ but going to do one in the morning with first morning.

congratulations!! i don’t know if i’m wrong but think 1-2 is correct for 4 weeks as its from conception date rather than last period, how exciting for you!xxx
