I haven’t tested my levels again - might check that out this afternoon I’m around 7/8 DPO wishing the week away to test Thursday or Friday. 🤞trying not to think everything is a symptom as I know a lot can be associated with the luteul phase anyway. I’m on cycle day 21 my next period would be due 13th May.

@Ash2345f I tried not to symptom spot during my last cycle. It made AFs arrival a bit easier!

in both of my pregnancies, i’ve not had a single symptom the whole time (only got to 7w with my first) so i generally don’t symptom spot in my tww, i have symptoms for ovulation but none really for AF either x

Okies so my period is due in 6 days, and I took a test today as I’m actually having very off symptoms if my period was due. It was negative. I’m assuming that it’s a bit early. My breast are swelling and my nipples are very sore, I’ve had cramping in the same place and it’s been very painful! Which echos last time, Didn’t realise how badly I wanted this till I’ve started trying xx

I'm disproportionately excited to report, with my first cycle using OPKs properly, I have caught my peak! I'm not using the app so just have the instructions to go by. Would love confirmation from some of you that I am understanding it all correctly. So it peaked this morning, therefore I will ovulate in 24-48 hours, therefore should DTD today and tomorrow? And the day after just for good luck?! And what day will I count DPO from, tomorrow? I'm CD12 today. TIA!!

I need to check what all this abbreviations stands for. I might look at ovulation tests to help out if I’m not successful this cycle x

Sorry @cannynotsay there were a lot in my last post, basically wondering when I should have sex and when to count ovulation from (in case I can't resist doing a pregnancy test before my period is due). We 'did the deed' yesterday and today so hoping that's covered it but we'll aim for tomorrow too.
I did another OPK this afternoon and it was already starting to get lighter than the control, so I feel lucky I spotted it. Does anyone know is that normal to have a high around midnight then peak at 9 then back down to just high by 2pm?

I'd like to join this thread. I had a miscarriage in February, followed by a chemical in March. We took April 'off' trying because I was not myself mentally. Started TTC this month again. Today, I am 1 dpo. It's been difficult trying to track ovulation as my cycle was out of whack since Feb (usual 27-28 day cycle and has been 31-35). I have been using advanced CB. I got static smileys from Sat 3rd May, and we bd Sat 3rd, Sun 4th & Monday 5th.

Hi Ladies. Has anyone used easy at home pregnancy tests? Just wondering if they always have a shadow at the test line ? It's my forst time using them. Anyway il take them as negatives unless I see darker lines over the next couple of days. 😊

Hi @hollyhocks2 I'm the same as you. This cycle is my first time properly tracking using the OPKs and I was giddy when I got my peak 😂 I highly recommend the app. It's a really good visual and it will confirm your peak for you. So I would DTD today, tomorrow and the next day like you said. If you got your peak today (Tuesday) then you will (most likely) ovulate tomorrow (Wednesday). So the day after (Thursday) will be 1dpo.

I also peaked quickly and then dropped quickly. I'll attach my tests so you can see!

@ForGiddyDreamer sorry for your losses. Big hugs ❤️ I had an MMC in January and my cycles have been shorter. I'm hoping for a longer one this month. I'm also 1dpo, cycle twins!

Thanks @SureLook The miscarriage in Feb was horrendous. It was my first pregnancy too. Fingers crossed for us all this month! I have told my partner that I will be calm this month & not test until my period is due. Will try to stick to that!

@ForGiddyDreamer I'm the same. Trying not to symptom spot and look into things too much. What will be will be. We've done all we can this month!

@SureLook thank you so much, glad you share my excitement! The picture is fascinating because I would have classed your high result as a peak too, and then the low below it looks high to me. So goes to show the complicated algorithm app must calculate things differently to my complete novice eye (who'd have thought it! Haha) so could I get the app and just upload this cycles pics? I've chucked the tests but have the photos on my phone still. Would it be funny about them not being on a white background? Just wondering if the app would end up saying I hadn't caught my peak, then I'd be a bit gutted, but nevertheless have DTD around the highs surely either way, so got to be in with a good chance.

I know! I thought the 0.78 looked high but the app decided otherwise 🤷🏻‍♀️ yeah you could definitely upload your pics. There's an option to do that. The white background is on the app itself. When you take a picture of the test it literally just takes the test. I think DTD as soon as you start to see a high should have you covered 🤞🏻

Omg just downloaded the app and it's so quick and easy to upload the tests, so clever the little window and the reading is instant, I am impressed. Takes the guesswork out of it, love it. Thanks again @SureLook and fingers crossed for us this month. I feel so optimistic again! I'm like two different people in the first half of the cycle compared to the second half!

@ForGiddyDreamer I can relate to aspects of your story (like many others here) although was end of last year for me and chemical then mc. All the best for you this cycle, I admire your fortitude getting back on the horse. Do take care of yourself.

@hollyhocks2 I know! It's great isn't it? It's easy and reliable which is what we need. I'm the same, up and down. This TTCing is a rollercoaster! Did the app say when you had your peak?

@SureLook yes it actually confirmed exactly how I'd interpreted my tests so I feel like a pro 🤣 so my peak was today and I'll ovulate tomorrow and we've timed it right with DTD so far.
Rollercoaster is the only word for it. Even a positive pregnancy test is only the beginning of a long anxious road too, as we know all too well, so it's very tough going, but we all know it's worth it for us personally, else we wouldn't be putting ourselves through it.
